Great store!!!!! I particularly liked all of the lighting features throughout the store

Architectural Salvage at its finest! We saw the sign while traveling on the freeway and had to stop in. With items ranging from $3 to over $30000, this place has an epic assortment of... everything! The onsite restoration and repair shops allows them to bring old items up to new standards of excellence and quality. The organization is on point, all of the items I looked at had price tags, and there is alot of square footage of inventory. Highly recommended for Production Designers, Interior Decorators, Architects.. and even just simple collectors looking to add some flair to their home, man cave or she-shed. Definitely worth a visit...you'll be amazed!

This is one of my most favorite places! Bringing back your home to it's original glory, this is where you want to shop. The photos I am posting don't do this store justice.

Quite the array of assorted items, you will be plesently surprised at all the different things, A lot of architectural stuff (wood, chandeliers, stained glass, claw foot tubs, old sinks, old mantels, cornices, doors and hardware) if you need to match an existing item in old house.

Incredible selection of old treasures that are waiting to be built into or around someone's eccentric home / projects. As well as a feast for the eyes if you enjoy shiny things or objects that could possibly be haunted.

I want to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your establishment. Prior to my visit, I had reviewed online feedback expressing concerns, but decided to visit nonetheless. Unfortunately, these concerns proved to be well-founded. My intention was to purchase several stamp books. However, I encountered significant issues. Multiple books were displayed without pricing, and upon inquiry, the employee was unable to provide any valuation. I offered what I believed to be a fair price for three specific books, based on my expertise as a stamp collector and an assessment of their apparent contents. My offer was rejected, and I was informed that a higher price would be demanded. I ultimately purchased one book for $250. Upon closer examination at home, I discovered that a substantial number of stamps were missing, as evidenced by the original owner’s inventory list included within the book. This constitutes a significant discrepancy and renders the purchase price unacceptable, particularly considering the lack of transparency regarding the book's contents. This experience has left me with a strong sense that the pricing and sales practices employed at your store are misleading and unfair. I strongly urge you to review your pricing and inventory management processes to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Great place to find solid wood doors! They also do custom work. We found a beautiful door that was a perfect fit. Rose helped us find the perfect matching hardware and was so sweet! They also do beautiful custom work.

Really cool store, but most of the things that they have are quite expensive and also quite large. It's a great place to window shop and see the vintage items. They have a lot of antiques, including huge doors and full entry ways. There is a ton to see, and the staff is really nice. Make sure to stop by but you might want to bring a large vehicle to get anything home that you might decide to pick up.

Beautiful one of kind items. It's so fun to browse their treasures! Very friendly staff full of stories about where the items come from. I even saw some antiques that were movie props for, Killers of the Flower Moon!

Probably one of the best antique architecture place ever! So much amazing stuff that I spent 2hrs just soaking in everything!

In search of architectural antiques, and they do have some....but there's a strong garage sale vibe here too. I would respect this more if the garage sale items were in a separate area, and priced accordingly. The store would be cooler, if it had a value room with items under $25. It's tough when random items of little to no value are mixed in with legitimate architectural antiques. Garage sale items = reproduction items, furniture from target, damaged things and things I would toss and not sell. I have to point out they have an amazing amount of hanging light fixtures and doors. Worth a look around.

Such a fun place to explore. They have some absolutely gorgeous fixtures and doors. It's a bit of an eclectic treasure trove. Definitely worth checking out.

I spent some time this week wandering around Dead People’s Stuff in Oklahoma City while working on an upcoming article. Walking through the front door felt like I had tumbled down Alice's rabbit hole into an architectural antique and design wonderland. You can almost feel the history breathing in and out of the woods, whispering the stories they have witnessed over the decades. I stopped several times in almost reverence to marvel at the craftsmen who created these works of art that have endured the test of time. Every nook and cranny is an eclectic melding of your grandma's house, a hundred museums, and the best estate sale you've ever attended. As a storyteller, I was overwhelmed by the threads of time woven in and out of every aisle of this unique store. You need to have vision when dealing with dead people's stuff. Dream about what could be, not just what you see before you, so remember to bring your credit card and your imagination. So many nameless artisans' works of art are now gathered in one place for us to explore and incorporate into our homes - making new stories for them to remember. #deadpeoplesstuff (photos by me)

Went here with my Mom to look around and it did not disappoint! This place has a TON of eclectic home pieces that would make anyone’s place stand out. Lots of awesome stained glass doors to choose from, spectacular light fixtures, and even dead people plants! There’s also a hearse in the back! Very cool place with lots to see. Highly recommend!

We went to this antique store. It was very cool. It had antique stained glass, doors, door knobs, wood trim, pianos, sinks, bathtub's. Much much more. I highly recommend going and taking a look.

This place has a lot of cool architectural stuff and just antiques in general. If you’re restoring an old home and need period correct hardware, you can find it here. They also have lots of antique architectural details to add some cool features lot a newer home. The coolest thing I saw was an old ice box with advertising for the Morse Candy Company. This is a really cool place to walk around even if, like me, you only end up buying a T-shirt.

This was such an interesting place! I saw a billboard near midtown and decided to stop by. There were tons of beautiful and unique antiques, they even had a few pieces from the original 'Killers of the Flower Moon', which was pretty cool. It is pricey, but they are antiques. I bought a $20 t-shirt, but other than that I just walked around and admired the shop.

Awesome place, offers antiques, plants, one of a kind art and great for the eclectic person or person in your life. Definitely visit you won't be disappointed.

What a great place to wander! At one time OKC was known for having elaborate, detailed, intricate home interiors. Influences from 1800s California and Old Mexico. In the 1920s, as old became king, people were ordering custom stained glass, custom metal work and the finest of woods for trim and decoration. Unfortunately several homes and grand public building feel into disrepair which is why, recovery places like Dead People's Stuff exist. This endless shop is packed with everything. EVERYTHING! I was looking for an ornate screen or grate. Uhm... Like 100 items to think about! Some of the metal work screens were easily 100 years old but maybe closer to 200 years old. Crafted in a blacksmith shop so those years ago. Endless recovered doors... Mid century modern, old quarter sawn oak, wrought iron wonders. Stained glass everywhere. Fixtures, hardware, clocks, rugs, on and on. Just a really really great place to visit. A true wonderland!

An IKEA of Dead People's stuff. That's the best way to describe this place. I also kept hearing in my head....look at this stuff, isn't it neat? Want a thing a ma bob? I got 20! That is the best way to describe it. Anything and everything from the past is here including staircases! Claw foot tubs, silverware, a whole hall of doors, windows, handles for cabinets and doors, old wood, lighting fixtures, and the list just keeps going. I think we spent a good hour just looking around. It's really fun and I highly recommend. They have parallel parking in front of the store.

I gave this place a 5 because the stuff is gorgeous. Well laid out and had a good feel to it. The prices were not what I would recommend for anyone who I'd a real antiquities buyer or dealer. Much was over priced and many things can be found at an estate sale, garage sale or roadside thrift. Most of the furniture and wood items were amazing however and the variety of stain glass was impressive.

Such an awesome store!! I loved the atmosphere and everything inside, it’s incredibly clean too so that was a plus! Definitely coming back ❤️

This a fun place just to wander around in and look at so many different kinds of things. However, if you're in the market for antique interior doors, unusual light fixtures, or vintage hardware and door lock mechanisms, this is really the place to go.

Just moved from Europe so I’m not going to comment on quality or pricing…It’s worth a walk through though. They do have small candles upfront that smell absolutely amazing.

It’s a cool place & it has a cool name. It’s waaayyyy overpriced though. Even for an “antique” store or “vintage” store. The name draws people in & that jacks the prices up I guess. They had antiques that I own selling for more that 5x the price it normally would. Please tell me how a simple old door is worth $1,800? Or basic old windows selling from $150-$500 and up? It’s more than a tourist trap than an antique store.

What a wonderful eclectic store. Beautiful rugs, tapestries and stained glass windows to the obscure knickknacks and creepy head statues. I am in love with this store. You can feel the love these once treasured items had come back to life with each human touch. A vibrant store worth your attention.

You won’t be disappointed spending some time browsing all the nostalgic and unique pieces that you can find at this place. If you are looking for unique drawer pulls or door knobs or light fixtures or doors then this is a must to stop at. Any interior designer with a eye for a one of kind piece would absolutely love this store. The staff were super friendly and willing to assist if you needed help.

No joke my jaw dropped this place has some of the most amazing architectural finds, parts and hardware for antique furniture that you might never be able to find elsewhere, and the plants, I was in love with all the famous statue inspired planters and the realistic skulls were so dope, I plan to come back when we have more time and get a new bag the leather hand bags were all unique and pretty 🤩
