DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I had my transmission "repaired" here in 2021. Two years later, it goes again with the same issue we had needed fixed previously. I went ahead and attempted to do the repair myself, and upon opening the transmission, I found that it still had OEM seals, pan, and the only part I could find that was replaced was the torque converter. Paid well over 1800+ for them to literally do the bare minimum. I'm not even going to waste my time trying to get compensation due to the FRAUD from this worthless auto shop. I now see why I was able to get quoted a lower cost and should have just gone with a more reputable company.
These guys are full of it, they said I needed a rebuild which cost up to 2200 dollars, turns out all I need is a new tcm swith which is only about 200, go somewhere else.
I got referred to reeds transmission by a buddy said they were good and fast, called and told him I’ll drop it off Thursday April 18 2024 he had it out and tore down by the end of the day rebuilt it and had it in by Friday April 19 2024! Beyond professional! Great prices too! Thank you reeds transmission for your professionalism! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer if I have to have another one rebuilt!
First off, I wanted to say thanks to the guys up there. They did a great job, and my car runs great now, they got it done quick and the price was very fair. When I went to pick up my car my car was out of gas cause I had it towed up there on emprt, the guy was nice enough to take me and my daughter up to the nearest gas station and let me use his gas can, keeping in mind it was already his quitting time. I really appreciated the guys up there. I had looked at some of there reviews and some people had their on opinions of this place. But that's all businesses though. If your needing your transmission fixed I would definitely recommend this place. (03-13'24)

Worst place to ever get your car checked . I needed my transmission checked and when they came to get my car they said it would be $100 to pick up my car and drop it off . Well when it was time to get my car they said to bring the money up there and then they will make arrangements with the tow truck to drop off my car . 2 WEEKS past by and I call for my car they tell me I need to pay another $100 for me to get my car towed back to my house . I was truly upset because I called 5 times before to reassure it was just $100 to get my car back . So I get my car back and I look at my battery just for it not to be my actual battery. They switched out my good new battery for an old one that won’t even turn my car on anymore . So they charged me fans extra 100 and they stole my battery. They were also rude and didn’t seem like they even wanted to work . It was extremely trashy in there and I’d never come back to that dirty place . They’ll lie to you and replace your parts with older ones
Repaired my transmission very quickly and did an awesome job. I've put 8k miles on it in a month and a half and still going strong. Thank you very much Reed's prices were very fair.
. Transmission leaks. P.s as soon as my warranty is gone. Transmission leaks extremely bad and I was told from another transmission shop. I’m gonna have to pay to get a rebuilt again, one year later
I almost never write negative reviews but my experience was so awful here that I had to make an exception. I was referred to Reed's by my local mechanic to have them look at my transmission. I called ahead and they said to drop it off on the following Thursday and they would take a look at it. When I pulled up, the broken down cars and junk in the parking lot made me nervous, but I tried really hard not to judge because I had heard they did great work. When I opened the door to the shop, I saw an extremely cluttered and disorganized office and three men eating breakfast. I don't really care about that but none made a move to ask if they could help or acted like they cared. I let them know why I was there and they stood up and took the key to my car and my phone number. I waited until Friday afternoon and hadn't heard anything, so I called and asked for an update. The man on the phone said they hadn't gotten to it and they might not be able to until Monday. That was really annoying to me because why would you tell me to drop it off if you didn't have time to look at it? Most people can't go without their car for a full weekend. Luckily, I have a motorcycle and it was nice weather so I just let it go. Monday came and went and I still didn't hear anything. On Tuesday afternoon, I called again and the man on the phone said his dad (the owner I'm assuming) was gone and wouldn't be back until Wednesday so he didn't know when they could look at it. I told him I would have to come get my car because I would need it that week for work. When I arrived and went into the office, I told the two men that I was there to pick up my car and what kind of car it was. They couldn't find the key for it because the desk was full of papers, parts and other people's keys so they told me to look for it myself. Thankfully, I found it pretty quickly but it concerned me that it had no label to state who it belonged to and they didn't ask for any kind of identification, which made it seemed as though anyone could walk in and get a car if they knew what kind they were looking for. There was no mention of follow-up or an apology of any kind. All-in-all, I was extremely disappointed in how this business was handled and frustrated at the waste of time. I will NOT be going back and do not recommend this shop to anyone.

These positive reviews must be paid reviews. Misdiagnosed my vehicle on one issue. Will not check to see if my transmission they rebuilt is still under warranty (which I know it is), let alone try to honor that warranty. They wanna act like they can't be bothered. Do not use these people. You have been warned.
I will not take my car anywhere else. These guys are great and very knowledgeable. Rwasonable prices and they don't lie to ya they shoot ya straight (My #1 pet peeve). Something wrong with your car? Take it to reeds
They have done a great job with my trucks. This is the 6th time I have used them. 1st time was a rebuild on a transmission in 96 GMC. 4 years later and still works like new. Still strong. 2nd time was a rear end in 2003 Suburban. 2 1/2 years later still on the road every day. Recently (1 week ago) fuel pump in 2004 Silverado. Got to it the next morning got me back on the road. Always willing to work with me and get my work trucks back up and running. Very reliable and affordable 👌😉😁
I got my vehicle back but the horn doesn't work, the heater no longer works, and they left a fender well off and just put it in the back of my Tahoe. Oh and they take cash only. I'd find another place to get work done. Several improvements needed before I'd return.
