My car died on me near Lake Hefner Parkway during rush hour, total nightmare! Thankfully, I called Silver Towing. These guys are lifesavers! Fast, friendly, and professional. Mike, the driver, was there in a flash, knew everything about roadside assistance, and even made me laugh. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait and the driver would call me to let me know when he was on the way and I never received a call so after an hour I called back and they told me the driver already called me and was already on the way so it would be an $80 fee to cancel. I waited 3 hours before receiving a call that they were on the way Don’t use this towing service they will just lie to you

Tried to charge me 150 to pick up a Honda civic and put a donut on the car. Already had the wheel removed. 0 stars Called a competitor that was farther away and payed 1/3 that price They also don’t accept cash that’s just unAmerican

This is a third party call center that contracts tow trucks around the city. I called for a tow and only ended up needing a jump. The technician was great but isn’t affiliated with this company as they are a third party. I received a bill for the tow that I didn’t receive ($205), so I called to get that cleared up as well as an itemized bill to send to my insurance. I had to call several times before I was able to get ahold of someone, explain what happened, and get my bill emailed to me ($115 for a jump — last jump I got was $50). After being told on two separate calls that it would be emailed to me and I never received it, I called again and was told it had “already been sent” and then they sent it while on that call. They were quite polite when I called needing a tow, but everything afterwards became an unnecessary hassle. Hanging up the phone without ending the conversation, lying about having done what they didn’t, and the priciest jump I’ve ever had. Overall poor service and wouldn’t recommend. I recommend calling an actual towing company.

I needed a tow truck near me right away after a small mishap. This OKC towing firm saved my life. Their wrecker service is dependable, and their prices are reasonable. They are without a doubt the greatest in the area.

I called and prepaid for a tow and was told it would be 30-45 minutes for a driver to get there. Our car was being towed less than 5 miles. After showing up more than 2 1/2 hours after the first call, the driver had to take the car back off the wrecker to go get another wrecker then come back to get the car. We were told during the 3rd phone call that the driver had to stop to make repairs to the wrecker. My first call was at 11:40am. The car didn’t make it to the shop it was being towed to until 3:57pm (3 minutes before the shop closed). The only reason we didn’t cancel the request is because half of the fee they charged me was nonrefundable “in case we cancel”. If a time of 30-45 minutes is quoted, it shouldn’t take almost 4 1/2 hours to complete the job. Had I been told it would take that long I would have called someone else. Terrible experience and we won’t be using this company again.

Horrible experience with this company, had requested and prepaid for a tow. And the car didn’t get picked up till 3 hours later while I was with the car the whole time. After multiple phone calls with the company I was told the tow was 25 mins out, and I was told that 3 times. Not only was I waiting for 3 hours their price is outrageous seeing as I was only getting towed 1 block away from the vehicle’s location. 10/10 do not recommend using this company!!

So after I give up with my car, I call them to take it back to my place from an autoshop. With no insurance help it only cost 200(which is cheap and they are 24/7) AND very fast. Im talking they take it and tow it to my place asap. Very gentle with my car and very nice.

Time to wait wasn’t bad but I’m not sure how getting my car towed less than 5 miles cost $184.00. The guy said something about it being cheaper if under 5 miles but I can’t find any documentation of that. I also don’t have a receipt to go off of either so I feel a bit ripped off.

Called after trying to fix car for over an hour on our own. Finally convinced to call a tow. Glad I called them first. They were there within 30 minutes! Technician was quick and friendly.

I had a horrible time looking for a flatbed tow that was reasonable price and they only charged $140 and the driver kept in touch with me the entire time. I even accused him of keeping my keys and found them in my back pocket, he was still very sweet! That takes good character! Lol

TLDR: Read the edit at the bottom. DO NOT USE SILVER TOWING. I called Silver Towing not long ago to do a long haul for me. Their availability was good and their price wasn't shocking to say the least. However, I called them again to do a local move for me, and while the availability seemed good at the time, the truth came out the day of my appointment. I scheduled an 8:00am tow, and everything seemed fine, but 8:00am came and went with no contact from the driver (the main office did contact me around 7:00am to let me know that the driver would call closer to the time of their arrival). 9:00am: nothing. So I called and they told me the driver had to stop for a flat. 10:00am, then 11:00am, and still nothing, so I called again. This time they told me that they couldn't get a hold of the driver and that they'd be calling shortly. I get it... The world doesn't revolve around me. Noon nears, and I call another company to get the service done, since it needed to be done asap. I call Silver Towing again, and the guy on the line apologized again, saying he doesn't know where the driver was, but that they'd be out shortly because he knew the driver was en route. Since I had another service lined up already, I let the guy on the line know that I wasn't interested in their service anymore, to which he responded that the driver was heading to my location already. I reiterated that I wasn't interested in their help, and he responded that the driver just needed to wrap up a jump start service for another customer and he'd be on the way to me (not sure how someone can be on the way but stopping for other people, but I guess they need to make money so whatever). It took three attempts on my part just to get the guy on the line to accept that I wanted to cancel the service, since at this point they were almost four hours late with no contact from the driver to let me know when I could expect them. The guy on the phone made sure to point out that Saturdays can be tough because they only have one truck active for service, which would've been nice to know the day I scheduled it so I could've at least picked a different day. He also had the gall to tell me that they were still going to charge me a ~$90 service fee, because the driver was on the way, even though my appointment was hours ago. I had to be pretty firm with him to drop the fee since they clearly weren't even on the way yet (still stopping to do quick services for other customers I guess), and he abruptly cold transferred me to another person to complete the cancellation. I gave them two stars since the first service went off without a hitch (relatively speaking, they still showed up late then as well), but the second appointment was such a massive CF that I don't plan on using them ever again, let alone recommending them as a service. Only after telling them I was planning on hiring someone else for the local tow did they even attempt to make things right. I didn't want a discount or special treatment... I just wanted them to show up. It worked out well anyway, since the other company showed up when they told me they would, and were significantly cheaper as well. I will update this review once I know for sure that I wasn't still charged the ~$90 service fee, and actually receive the full refund for the service I paid for in advance, but never received. Edit: I just read some of the other critical reviews here, and it all makes sense now. When I called the other company, a driver in a company truck showed up. However, when Silver Towing came out, it was another company entirely. Not to mention that all of the phone numbers I received calls from were from out of state. This company is super shady in retrospect, and their responses to criticism are boilerplate, copy-pasted nonsense.

Overall a great experience. Good guys in the office gave a accurate eta. The driver showed up on time and was about to accommodate a situation that was not foreseen. My car was fully dead and it's a new Mercedes so my car was unable to shift into gear so the towing tech had to use these plastic skates so that my car wouldn't be damaged. Also used wood ramping to not scratch my front bumper. Giving these guys the praise they deserve.

In a time of need you guys provide an awesome service. I 1st called AAA since I am a member and advised them of the situation. They showed up with none of the special equipment needed for my vehicle & a very inexperienced driver. I can guarantee that I will be sending AAA your bill however I can almost guarantee what their response will be. Thanks for being there with your experienced and personal drivers.
