I was on my way to Oklahoma City, and on my right, I saw a lot of classic vintage muscle cars, available for parts I guess. I love muscle cars, especially from that era; seeing so many of them on the side of the road like that was a surprising and incredible sight
I'm from out of state and saw the cars while driving by. Couldn't resist dropping in to see and got a nice welcome and a tour of the restoration shop. Man, this guy does beautiful work!
Wouldn't bring out part for me to look at. Said it "wouldn't work". Didn't even let me explain how I planned to modify it. Must be very wealthy to turn away business.
I was looking for a used part for an old car. They had exactly what I was looking for and gave it to me for free because they would "just throw it away anyway".
Honest. The guy wanted me to make sure before I paid $100 for a part I will not get my money back for if not the problem. Very helpful. Went back to purchase the item and the guy came to the car...apologizes for not selling me the part the first time. Then he proceeded to assist my husband with getting the part installed. I will definitely be back in the future and recommended them. Great experience.
I give them less then one star. Wish you could listen to our phone convo. Guys was a total dick. You can bet I will never do business with these folks again. No big deal.
Wes is suppose to be knowledgeable, told me my 76 duster didn't come out with a 360, none of them did, well guess what, they did, kept telling me the part I had was wrong & was the same as the one he had, guess what, Wrong wrong wrong, just dismissed me, they are rude as soon as you walk in the door, reason why they are known as shady crook, use to be the only place you could go to for old Mopar parts, now there's the internet, will never try to go there or ask for advice
This people are so rude and overpriced on everything you can buy brand new parts for the same price as their used ones never buy anything from them EVER
I don't understand why there is such a strong negative review. Wes did an amazing job for finding a part for my vehicle. He was very professional, on the ball, and very pleasant. I would definitely come back.
Bad. I asked for the price for a used part, their quote was 40 dollars, 10 dollars over what a new part from the dealer was (30 dollars). After finding that out, I called back to inform them of this, hoping they would realize they were overpricing the part and offer the used part at a fair price. Wrong, the response I got was: What has that got to do with anything? I replied, You don't see anything wrong with that, asking more for a used part than what a new part cost? I then told them I was going to report them to the BBB, at which point the desk clerk hung up. I am making good on reporting them to the BBB, and I will never do business with Shady Nook. They are as their name implies, shady. They are/were rude, greedy, and unethical. I wound up buying the part I needed from the local Dodge dealer. Beware, everyone, these guys will rip you off if you let them ! Don't let them.
