My Peterbilt was involved in an accident. I did not feel safe driving it since I could not open the hood to check to see if any damage had been done mechanically. I called V-Haul towing and they were out there to help me very quickly and were able to tow my vehicle to the repair facility. The driver was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was very refreshing to have someone take such good care of me and my truck after such a traumatic experience. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for good service at a fair price.
This company is a big scam, do not use even if they are the only ones available in town. I called them to tow a trailer where I suggested to chain up an axle and tow it on just one axle, that's how it normally works. The truck/trailer was off the road in an exit not causing emergency or traffic, they wanted to get it across the street into a parking lot to take apart the axles and tandems. Also, they wanted to take off the freight to make a huge bill and go through insurance. I told them I don't think that's necessary, so they went in their truck and called the police/dot to do a crash report. Once they showed up, I had a conversation with the Dot inspector and they agreed with me how it needs to be towed. I have taken V-haul off the job, didn't want to deal with these people a minute longer. They still charged for 4 hours for doing nothing on the equipment.
V Haul towed my 40 ft. motorhome 13 miles to freightliner facility and did an estimated 5-6 thousand dollars damage to front of my coach. The two wrecker drivers on the job out right lied by denying they did any damage to my coach to their management and V Haul management would not cover any of the damage. Do no use, this is a dishonest company.
Fabulous service! We were stuck out in Oakwood and VHaul was very responsive and quick to come get us. Their yard seems secure and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
