I got stuck in ice in Louisville, KY. The trailer was loaded with about 40k lbs. Spent 4 hours trying to get out myself hesitant of calling for towing because it is usually expensive and takes time for them to get to you, especially in snowing season. It wasn't until I gave up and started calling towing companies. The prices and time to get to me were ridiculous. Then, I found Emanuel Towing online and gave them a call. Very good decision. Price were very affordable compared to the others and the driver came in no time. Very friendly, professional, and dedicated people. The driver's name was Ariel, just like me. As soon as he arrived, he started working and got me out in less than 5 minutes. The only thing I regret is not giving them a call from the beginning instead of spending 4 hours trying to get it out myself. Got a little late to my delivery, but I was able to do it with no penalty. Thanks a lot Emanuel Towing. Thank you so much, Ariel.

My trailer became stuck in a ditch while making a turn, and I contacted Emanuel Towing for assistance. The company was approximately 15 minutes away from the location. During the initial phone conversation, the owner quoted $5,000, but after discussion, we mutually agreed on a total of $1,500 for the service.
Prior to their arrival, I provided the owner with a video clearly showing the condition and position of the trailer, ensuring full transparency about the situation.
Upon arrival, however, the owner suddenly claimed that the job was “more than expected” and demanded an additional $200, raising the total to $1,700. He further stated that if I did not agree to pay the increased amount immediately, he would impound my truck and trailer, which would result in even higher charges.
Given the circumstances and the threat of impoundment, I felt I had no reasonable choice but to comply and pay the $1,700 on the spot. The entire towing process took approximately 20–30 minutes to complete.
I found the owner’s conduct to be dishonest, coercive, and unprofessional. The sudden price increase and threats of impoundment are unacceptable business practices and may constitute predatory towing behavior
