1st time i had been there with precious metals, copper, brass, and wire some coated and some stripped with the wire stripper i got off tic tok, <-- works very well shocked me..but any whoot the fellas at the scale were friendly , a few cut up with me , which i found to be very professional,most places like this you go to, every1 seams up tight, like they pantys all bunched up, but these guys,cool group.
A+++ I will be going here quite abit as prices were spot on.here here, top shelf
I take alota metal once a week sometimes 2 times I usually go to rusty rooster's best price's I town but couldn't go to rusty because of ups crash do I came there and boy did I get reemed never again I had six pounds of cleaned yellow brass he said I had 2 lbs infact I had around 190 lbs of hospital grade aluminum and he give me 60 lbs everything I brought he cut me a lot I had the clean brass and cleaned copper in 2 zip lock baggies he said on my receipt they weighed 2 pounds a piece nothing but thieves never again and I will let everyone know
I RARELY ever post reviews. Unless they are top notch places or bottom shelf... I would give 0 stars if I could. Actually, I would give negative if possible. The dude running this place is a high class snob. He is a snickety man-child. He treats his workers like disposable trash and his customers even worse. I couldn't believe the way he was talking to his employees. He didn't know some of us coustumers could hear... The employees are great and helpful, though! I won't be back. And strongly suggest against going. I will not support a business with the way he does business. The prices are ridiculous. There are plenty of other places you can get scrap metal for better prices. And get better prices for your scrap as well.
This is the absolute best place to take your recycling. The staff is amazing especially Ron he is the BEST if you have any problems talk to him and he will get it taken care of!
On Saturday March 21, i went to river metal's on campground road at 11:47 a.m. after getting on the scale, i was told by the person working the scale ', they were close. I was told they closed at 11:50, despite the web site saying 12 and the fact it was only 11:47.i was refused services. Please watch these people. They are dishonest and crooks.
I got there at 4:05. On the way there, my scrap container had turned over so I had to do a little sorting before I walked up to sell my precious metals. At about 4:10, the employees working the scales started hollering at me from about 50' away, saying that they are closing. So, I started walking up there trying to separate the last little bit I had to separate. (Which was not much) I apparently left a couple pieces mixed together and one of the employees told me if I did that again that they would not buy metals and that I better be there earlier next time or they was turning me away. I was there on the scale at 4:15. I understand that they want to go home but they know the hours of operation and a customer should get the same number as em htreatment whether they come in at 9am or 4:05 pm. Berating and belittling customers is not good job security. Their website, as well as the front door says they close at 4:30. I did not feel welcome, to say the least so I will not be returning
The one on grade lane is nicer people and the price was way better for some reason. These guys are rude and I think they rip me off. Go to grade lane instead
Their hours of operation are incorrect. They say that they close at 4:30 but they close at 4 o’clock. If you show up at 4:05 they will not see you. They reject you. This has happened three times now. They should correct their hours.
The employees are very helpful and kind especially (Tony) I've been going there for about a yr just due to the employees ALL OF THEM!!! I recommend them to any and everyone
They could be a little bit more nicer with the ones he's taking your scrap aluminum and all that rude sometimes but other than that everything goes good you get in and out of there good and it's all right
