Bob’s F1 is a total ripoff and everything they say is a total lie. That includes the positive posts. It took me 26 months to get my truck back. The build was suppose be with new high- performance parts. What I got was an incomplete build with used parts. The wiring wasn’t completely installed. It even had the wrong spark plugs installed. He had placed 350 chevy plugs in to a 351. I made him test drive it. He drove! And all it did was fall flat. Rear main seal leaked. Used radiator leaked. Bolts not tighten or not installed at all. Parts were installed improperly. It ran, but it was a dangerous to drive. Stay away from Bob’s F1. Again, his positive posts, are fiction!!!
Shop built my customized 1954 Ford F-100 from the ground up back in 1998. I had a couple problems pop up a few months after completion and Bob got the replacement parts out ASAP. It's currently in a local shop (Idaho) to get bigger/badder engine and trany- by choice, not need. Overall, it's been a great truck!
I Picked up my truck today. Its a 1956 Ford F100. I took it in to Bobs after I had some other work done that wasn't the best. I decided to restore it and have Bob do the work. I am very happy with the results. Its perfect. No issues at all. I had a front clip installed, power steering, brakes engine, transmission,,, everything,,, Bob even handled all the paint and body for me. I couldn't be happier. Thanks Bob
Order a bracket kit to add ac compressor to my truck. Told service manager what I wanted. When I recieved the kit it wouldn't do what I was told it would do. When I complained he asked if I installed it correctly. He never talked with me directly. When I asked for bob, I never talked with him directly either. He said since it was already installed I couldn't return it. No one would return my phone calls. Extremely bad customer service. They don't care!!!!
The staff here are friendly, polite and helpful in what ever you are trying to get done. I continue to return or call if I have a question or need something done.
Bob's F100 had alot of stuff, ordered a stock 55 frame, drove 500 miles, met with a gentleman at the counter who was really cool to talk with. Wanted to see more of what they had to offer, but then Bob took over the transaction and came across very rude and arrogant. At that point I had no more interest in what they had. Very unfortunate because I planned on spending alot more with him in the future. I left thanking him and shaking his hand, but would rather would have delt with the first gentleman I spoke too. Hopefully I will continue to work with them on this 55 F100 build.
Unorganized, dirty, overpriced, Bob the owner was very rude at times to employees right in front of customer!
Inappropriate time frames given on service, repairs, and customization of vehicles. The parts manager didn't order parts needed in the time frame required to meet deadlines. End price was very different then the originally quoted estimate. Many parts came damaged, could tell they tried to hide damage with cheep paint on some parts. ..
Overall seems like Bob gets away with bad service and over priced parts simply because he has no competitors locally for customers to buy from. Also noticed he has no women working for him! He needs an office manager or a receptionist answering the phones at least!
