I got a bill in the mail stating My car was towed on 3/7/2024 and that I owe $350 for the tow and $70 per day in storage fees. However, I am currently driving my car and it has never been towed or in any storage facility. Also, I live in San diego and have never heard of Colton, ca. I called and they told me to call back tomorrow while they check their yard to confirm. Seems like a SCAM AGENCY!! Edit to reply- it's a scam because you never had my car in your tow yard!! Sending random people bills whether it's a mistake or not you need to double, triple check! My car HAS never been touched by your scam company but I got a bill saying you tried to reach me several times and there can be a lien put out on my vehicle. Your reply is a joke. Edit to add 8/19/25 these incompetent imbeciles put a lein on my car so I couldnt renew online. Had to spend a day at The DMV getting an inspection to prove my car is in my posession.

The guy on the phone, Edward. Was rude and not courteous at all. He was condescending and acted like he didn't need the work. So i hung up the phone and called a professional. I can't believe they have people like that representing the image of the company. Shame on the business owner.

Absolutely disgraceful company. They towed my car right from in front of my own home without any valid reason or warning. This business clearly survives by preying on hardworking people, targeting vehicles parked legally in residential areas. Their tactics are sneaky, aggressive, and downright unethical. When I called to get information, I was met with rude and dismissive staff who offered no explanation or accountability. It’s obvious this company is more interested in collecting outrageous fees than actually helping people in need of towing services. Stay far away if you value your time, money, or basic decency

This place is garbage and they’re all a bunch of scammers. They towed my brother in law’s car and claimed for it to have been parked in the fire lane when it clearly wasn’t. When we called them and asked when we could pick up the car they said we weren’t allowed to until the next day so they could charge us an overnight fee. When we told them that we insist on picking it up today the guy said, “good luck” and hung up in our face. They’re disgusting

I’ve never dealt with more inhumane company. They tow after hours and refuse to release cars so they can charge after hours fees

These people are rip off cons I went there to retrieve my personal belongings after our car was towed from an accident they tried to deny me access I had to call the cops. They can’t prevent you from taking possession of your personal belongings inside the vehicle. Police came they got real nice and I got my personal belongings.

I don’t think they act legally

Predatory towing company. We were unloading our vehicle (which is registered through the property) in front of our assigned apartment garage. We left to drop off a piece of furniture and grab our garage clicker to put the car in. We took less than 5 minutes guaranteed. When we came back the car was gone and when we called the driver basically said “Oh Well, not my problem.” Since it was already almost 10 pm, they charged us after hours fees and made us pick up the car the next day for a total of over $400. From what we’ve seen they have had similar issues with other properties in the area and even the other Towing Companies in the area dislike them because of their known predatory behavior. Edit: ALSO they are now lying to our leasing company about how long the car was parked, despite the paperwork THEY gave us saying otherwise, and our phone calls with them proving otherwise. This place is a joke.

Very professional, from the initial phone call to the actual pick-up, tow, and delivery of the motorcycle. ETA and price was great. We are very pleased with this service and would recommend them to others.

Pepes towing franchise overall company is horrible

A seem of unfortunate events landed me with my car being towed, the gentleman that was assisting me with the process of paperwork to get my vehicle out was so kind and patient. Thank you so much to Andrew T. at the Riverside yard for all your help!

The place made my gf spend close to 900.00 to get her car out. She was trying to show them proof of her insurance and everything and made her waste close to 3 hrs. If you guys park at riverside superior court, check and make sure the lines are white. My gf parked where u couldn’t even tel l if the lines were there, let alone blue. Always had problems with this trash tow yard! You guys will get your civil suits don’t worry…

These people towed my cleaning ladies car while they were loading their cleaning supplies(Less than a few minutes) from the house to the car to leave. When called, they wanted last 4 digits of VIN to give details(I would be impressed if anyone has their VIN memorized). After heated conversation finally got information as to where the car was. The cleaning ladies went to the impound yard and car wasnt there. Finally tow truck showed up 45 minutes after they arrived? Where was the tower for all that time? Finally got car back for $420 i gave them or likely would have been charged excessive daily fees, a lien, and ultimately sold at auction. My HOA entered into the agreement with Pepe's and the entire community feels like they are being terrorized. Sorry, but your response is BS. There was also a Spectrum Truck parked on the same road all morning and not touched as well as the Gardening Vehicles that were illegally parked. You targeted the vehicle least likely to be recovered or fight back. Your company is despicable and should have your licenses revoked... Targeting cleaning ladies who have to work a week to pay a fee you get for 30 minutes of Targeting.

There is something wrong with our country and the people who are doing dishonest things are one thing.But protect and serve.must apply to tow companies and the stuff that makes revenue for both.A petition is being planned for something to be done to protect themselves from this conspiracy to steal and violate human rights to be in the pursuit of happiness.... God is good and you are hiding in sheep's clothing under athoritority of his justice leadership is given to do god's will? Right or not .

This company extorts poor working class people. I honestly don't know how these people call sleep at night knowing the damage they do to lower class families.

I read this article in the newspaper about this towing company, and didn’t surprised me at what the article it saying. I was a caregiver and I was dropping client off and her belongings had emergency lights on and keys in the ignition when I came out my car was gone. They towed my new Honda accord for no reason, when I tried communicating with them to get information where my vehicle was, they couldn’t tell me where it was , instead they delayed information and at some point they stop answering my calls, I located the vehicle through my phone somewhere in a horrible alley in rubidoux. They did not wanted to give it back, I threaten them by calling the police, they had the vehicle for 4 hours, and they charged me over 500.00. Hope they put them out of business for their fraudulent acts.

You can see these drivers constantly parked at AutoZone and Walmart on Riverside drive in Rialto. They are predatory tow drivers waiting for a person to leave their vehicle to go into a store, then they illegally tow that person's car. I have seen this company constantly tow our customers without authorization. If you see them in either of these parking lots beware they are conducting illegal practices.

Made an appointment and they never showed. Called and they said we never made the appointment. Good job?

Arrived fairly quickly, was right on time. No complaints

Called was told they would arrive in an hour. No show ofr almost two hours called again and was told there is a delay, not sure why they couldn't have contacted me about it

Very happy with their service...very punchual they were their when they said they'll be there also very friendly and professional .

The towed my car and a grocery market and made me jump through hopes to get it back, horrible attitudes. I hope there is a such thing called "Karma".
