I would like to tell everyone about this location! I will not go to a different location. Ricardo should be acknowledged for his outstanding service and willingness to help me. I had purchased the Oil&Filter deal from a different location. Kyle, at the store on Lamar, explained to me that the deal was online only and the store just fills the order. This guy did not honor the advertised price. I went to the location on that Dessau Rd. in Austin and Ricardo refunded me the difference and made sure I had all the right stuff I needed for my truck. He went above and beyond normal customer service and he’s just a really nice and helpful guy. Y’all go by there and see him sometime! I’ll be back soon!

I came in to get specific windshield wipers. An employee helped me find them. The manager, Greg, checked me out & offered to install them for me. I was super impressed with the friendly staff & the manager going the extra mile. Best experience I’ve ever had at an auto parts store 🙂

They will not answer the phone. And that’s super inconvenient when you are checking so see if they have a part. They keep ringer off. I called while I was inside just to confirm. No customers were around so it wasn’t busy

Came in with a check engine light issue and Greg was so much help! He was able to check the code for the light and identify what the issue was. He gave me a breakdown of what options I had, explain the issue in a way that I could understand, and provided cost effective solutions. Great customer service! Cannot express how much piece of mind I have now in addressing my car issues.

The worst experience of my life. 6 employees and none were really willing to help or even ask my rewards member phone number because my purchase was too small ( my intercooler line blew) if I didn’t ask more questions I would have been sent off. Georgetown/ Roundrock stores makes these guys look like children.

Bought the wrong battery in manor, took it to this location and a youngster said I have to go back where o got it from. Then another worker said no you can do it here and he left. The youngster then said I can’t do it here sorry because is going to mess up my system while he was burping in front of me and yawning. His name started with a K. Hispanic long hair.

Today I had problems with the electrical system of a rental car at the Waffle House right next door to this O’Reilly location, which was a lucky place to run into an issue. Ernesto took the time to come out and take a look at the vehicle and found the issue - the rental company had left some screws loose in the vehicle that prevented it from having a consistent electrical contact. He was very friendly and fixed it up and got me back on my way. Very grateful he was able to keep me on the road during a vacation!

They are supposed to close at 10 pm, the staff hid when they saw me trying to enter at 9 pm, the day is 11/17/2024, I hope they come to improve this service, or renew the staff, which is doing damage to the store

Keep your receipts to anything with a warranty because the employees are cashing out my warranties. I bought front & rear brake pads & rotors last year with lifetime warranty on pads & 2 yr warranty on rotors. This this morning I called to do warranty swap on my brake pads but the employee said that I didn't have a warrant on my pads, but luckily for Mr my wife keeps ALL RECEIPTS even for my brake pads & rotors so I go up to O'Reilly's located on 12308 Dessau rd. Austin,TX 78754 & showed them my receipt & the guy finds my warranty but says that I had cashed out my warranty, so I tell him if cashed my warranty them why didn't it go back to my card if it was a credit card purchase? He then clicked further to show me that even though I purchased everything thru my credit card the warranty had been given back in cash. Do not purchase from this location as is run by a bunch of CROOKS

I went to pick up some parts that i paid from another store, and the manager was very rude. i showed her the ticket and she kept being rude. i was mad so i asked for the manager, curiously, she was the manager, so i asked for the general manager, it was funny, because she said she was also the general manager. I confronted her and told her that she needed to learn how to treat customers.

Manager just helped me save thousands of dollars and wished me a Happy Birthday! I love the energy from the team there helping people with a positive attitude. I wish I got the manager name the lady manger that help but will update this post!! 10stars tho!

Had what I needed but was met with extremely rude staff, who got especially pissed off at me when I didn't want to share my phone number for their rewards program. It was my first time at this particular location, for which I'll be sure to not return to. I've had nothing but positive experiences at other locations though.

Worst O’Reilly store and its employees l!! I was needing a headlight replacement bulb. At first they were not willing to replace it. After requesting several times he agreed to install. He took so long to install it and broke my connector. Since, headlight didn’t work I requested to get a refund but they did not refund and said its against their policy to return. Will not stop until I get my refund!!

I used to love this location. But in the last couple of years they have progressively gotten worse and worse. I just walked into an empty store with 5-6 employees standing around doing NOTHING. I thought after I asked for assistance, at least one employee would act like they were interested in providing some quick and simple assistance. But nope. Not even the manager would even turn around. I will never walk through their doors again. I am a full-time rideshare driver. I spend thousands a year on maintenance and repairs on my vehicle. Thankfully, the AutoZone across the street is helpful.

Came in yesterday on 9/25/2023 at 6pm. I asked if they could charge my battery. I was the only customer in there at the time. I came back at 8:15pm. I found my battery exactly how i left it on the counter. I asked them if they charged it and I instantly knew from their faces they didnt. They proceeded to tell me its ready to go. I go home, put it in my truck and of course, its dead. I come in today 9/26/23 at 12pm. I told the manager RENE what happened and she instantly got an attitude with me saying it was probably the alternator & that if the employees said they charged it, then they’re not lying. She had me wait for a long time & only said “what do you want”. Instead of helping me out, she tried to embarrass me in front of other customers. She ORDERED me to bring and put in my battery in the machine, I asked her how and she got upset and said “the other way”… Instead of taking action, she laughed and told the other employees that WE were the liars trying to make them get mad at us. She proceeded to say our battery was old and bought in 2019 (lies, we just bought our truck a year and a half ago& i bought this battery for this truck?!?!) . After i told her i was going to put a complain on her she laughed and said “well im the manager”. I DO NOT recommend this place at all.

We got a new battery from this location in Sept of 2020 for our 2018 Hyundai. It started dying on us a couple weeks ago again, and luckily we checked the warranty (3 years) and still had the receipt. I went in to have it replaced (after my receipt was checked briefly by an employee and then thoroughly by a manager who seemed to doubt me or the employee on the warranty time...? Hm). The battery was checked, confirmed to be bad, and then the swap was made quickly. I was given a receipt to show the exchange was made for free. However, the employee let me know that the warranty doesn't renew with the new battery that was put in, so even though the battery only lasted a little over two years, the warranty only goes until this September for the new one. So, if this new battery dies in ~2ish years again, we'll probably go elsewhere next time since batteries are supposed to last 3-4 years at least, sometimes more. Fingers crossed this one lasts longer than the last one!

If you need check engine light reviewed, don’t waste your time here. Customer service is not something they prioritize apparently. My wife needed to simply have them run a scan just so we can determine if we had to get the vehicle towed home (which is over an hour away). She was told they cannot do it in the rain which makes no sense. After a very rude phone call with the manager, my wife took it to autozone and they had no issue getting a little wet just to help their guest.

I went there for wiper fluid and a windshield wiper, and the employee there immediately noticed that I needed help finding the correct replacement windshield wiper for my car. He was friendly, quick, and extremely helpful. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

The folks here are always helpful and seem to actually care. Have dropped used oil off here as well as had batteries tested. When buying parts I normally use their website to get a P/N first so I know what I need. Busy hours are definitely evenings around 7 or so.

Went here today to ask about brakes I needed for my car. Eddie was very helpful and knowledgeable about what type of brake pads I needed. Being a woman in a man zone (auto parts store) can be intimidating when I know nothing about cars. He was very friendly and quick to answer my questions! Good job Eddie!! Really appreciate it. Will definitely be coming back!! 👍😃

Worse customer service I've witnessed in a while. Went in with a simple question: is the battery i bought from you still under warranty? The lady who attended me was obviously new (I hope) and had no idea how anything works. After seeing her struggle with the customer in front of me, I finally get to the counter only to wait on her to attend to another customer that walked in after me. Then comes back and asked another clerk how to look me up. Still couldn't figure it out. Then answers the phone twice and takes down vehicle information from the caller to look up what they need. All of this with me waiting on a simple yes or no. After 15 minutes and her walking away AGAIN, I decided to go to a REAL store, because this one to me is a joke. O'Reilly's to me is the best auto parts store out of the big 4. But this particular store needs to be reevaluated. Just my personal opinion. You judge for yourself. FYI. This review is being written after getting my battery replaced at a different location. In and out with battery replaced in less than 20 minutes
