This is definitely you get what you pay for here. Prices are probably higher than I’m used to but the service was done well and fast. Everyone was kind and attentive so you can take comfort in that your vehicle is in good hands.

I was going on vacation and had to drive to Austin to catch my flight and started hearing aa awful noise underneath my jeep. I knew I had to take it in soon for my brakes, But the noise is really bad. I figured I would take care of it when I came back to Austin . I had my son look to see who would be available because Monday was Presidents’ Day and he told me that he was referred to Auto Tek. The Application process to schedule an appointment was super easy they got to me super fast. They gave me a full diagnostics and they helped me out so much. They got the parts in and my jeep back and on the road in no time they are wonderful.

Auto Tek was very thorough and willing to get our vehicle in quickly. They helped work through concerns and focusing on the needs of the vehicle instead of the price tag. Thank you for your help!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you, Auto Tek! I had my car towed in, and because they work with AAA, I was able to get up to $75 off, which was a great bonus. I chose their 62-point inspection to diagnose the issue, and they were incredibly thorough from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, with honest recommendations and absolutely no pressure to approve unnecessary work. I even came in with my glove box broken from a previous shop (it had been taken apart to change the air filter), and they went ahead and fixed it, which really shows the level of care and integrity they bring to their work. Aaron, Zach, and Megan all connected with me during my visit, and their communication was flawless—clear explanations, timely follow-ups, and genuine kindness throughout. I also loved that everything is digital, making it easy and secure to review, authorize work, and handle payments. The whole team was prompt, professional, and thoughtful, which made a stressful situation so much easier. My car is running great, and I truly felt respected and well taken care of. I won’t be going anywhere else for auto repair. Highly recommend.

I’ve been a customer for years and their staff always tells me straight what needs to be done and what’s a nice to have - compared to the dealerships which always say everything is urgent. They are thorough, personable and do a great job with repairs. I’ll definitely be bringing my cars here for many more years to come!

The staff was great and got the job done quickly. They also let me know about issues that I would have to address at a later date. Zack did a great job communicating and I really appreciated the report. I could review with all the info before making a final decision. I would definitely take my car back!

I took my car in to get some things fixed that I wanted to get done. I’m not going to infer intent here - but they added on about another 1.5k in recommendations, all of which was completely unnecessary and demonstrated that the “inspection” never actually happened and they’re just trying to upsell whatever they can and assume their customer is really stupid. It rubbed me the wrong way to have a recommendation to replace cabin and air filters (both at a very high price, well over 100 bucks which makes no sense. The filters are about 20 bucks and takes 5 min to replace. What exactly is the hourly rate here? Am I seeing a private Eric Clapton concert?) when I replaced both of them in the last 1k miles. Also recommended an oil change despite the sticker on my windshield literally saying it was done within 600 miles. Recommended spark plugs which also don’t need to be done, only 40k on them. The spark plug thing is more understandable, since it was done with an engine replacement, but it makes me question what exactly this “inspection” is. Last thing… all I asked them to look at during inspection was the cowel panel. They never looked at it or mentioned anything about it. That’s when I knew that it’s time to just pay for the services I asked for, leave and never come back again. Are they just looking at the miles and having an algorithm spit out recs? Nice people on the surface, and the shop seems clean and organized, but in my opinion they should really think about the impression they leave on customers when they behave in such a predatory way.

I had our 2016 Camry SE at 2 different shops prior to taking it into Auto Tek. Lesson learned the hard, and expensive, way! The first national shop just threw numerous parts on and never really completed a professional diagnostic check. The second shop rolled it onto the rack, lifted it, eyeballed it, and gave me a quote. Two different shops, 2 different issues w/quote. After an exstensive search and going through reviews, I landed on Auto Tek. I called and spoke to Aaron about the situation. I ended up getting it in that day and had an awesome diagnosis with pictures by end of day. I agreed to let them do the work. The shop tech, Michael, kept me informed and updated through the entire process. The shop was clean, organized, and secured! The techs know their stuff and very professional. Do your own research and compare; the reviews will tell you a lot. Don’t go “cheap & quick” on you and your families safety. Highly recommend!

I found this place based on all the positive reviews on yelp - and I was looking for a new shop after feeling like other places were ripping off and giving me shady advice. This shop did a thorough inspection and sent me pictures with recommendations. We came up with a okay for what I would do this time around. They were in constant communication with me so I knew what was going on with my car at all times. I’ll be back - with other vehicles too!

Love this place. Very friendly, communicative, honest, and reliable! I've had my transmission fluid changed here and noticed an immediate improvement in my car's performance and just had my coolant flushed. Both times I've been taken care of with no worries about whether or not I was getting swindled.

Autotrophic was such a great experience. Everyone I worked with was so pleasant and helpful. They provided everything and anything I needed to make all my decisions with how to proceed with my car. The work was impeccable and they explained everything not only in detail but were transparent about everything which I appreciated. Can’t recommend them and the experience enough!

I took my vehicle in needing a full inspection of the suspension and fuel system. They did an excellent job giving the whole car the inspection it needed and we took care of the outstanding items accordingly. As well as finding some other things that were equally as important that we took care of. But it wasn't hard selling or pushy. Just a clear list of what was found and what should be taken care of. The work was done efficiently, the communication was ongoing and direct, and they had me on my way as soon as they could and that was even on a week with a holiday. The pricing was fair and there was an extremely clear detail of line items for the work being done, broken down in a way that made it very flexible for what you could accept and decline. For someone that does a lot of work themselves, going out on a limb to find a mechanic shop that I can trust always feels like a potential risk. I'm very happy that I took the chance with Auto Tek and will definitely trust my car with them for anything I need done.

I’ve been going to AutoTek for over 10 years now, ever since a Honda dealership gave me a $3–4K estimate and AutoTek did only the necessary work for about half the price. They were honest then about what didn’t actually need to be replaced, and they’ve been just as straightforward ever since. This is the third car I’ve brought to them, and they’ve always been reasonably priced, clear in their communication, and never “find” extra things to fix like so many other shops and dealerships do. I trust them completely with my car.

Loved the full diagnostic and how the info was displayed with photos and descriptions. Will definitely be back! This helped me decide to trade in my car instead of performing any services. My boyfriend is bringing in his car for a diagnostic next week too!

I am so happy I found AutoTek and the wonderful people who work there!! I needed my car looked over before going on a cross country road trip and they performed a 60+ point inspection. They were prompt with diagnosing my car. I did not expect them to start servicing my car same day since I had only scheduled for the inspection. I was totally prepared to make another appointment to get all the repairs done, but they started same day!! I really like their online system: it breaks things down into highest priority which makes it so much easier on the customer. There were even customized notes about brake pad thickness etc. They provide images of your vehicle and even offer external videos explaining why it might be important to get certain repairs done. I could easily accept or decline any of their recommended services. There was absolutely no pressure!! I even called and spoke to my actual technician (Zach) becuase I had additional questions and he was honest and thorough. I appreciate when I'm not hounded to complete every service all at once. He told me the things I absolutely needed to get done before I drive my car cross country, then told me the things I can wait on. He was very quick to send me over quotes. I thought their pricing on parts and labor were extremely reasonable! It was so easy looking over their reports/quotes/navigating their online system. I greatly appreciciate their thoroughness. It was even easy to pick my car up after hours. You will not find me going back to the dealership for my future car needs. AutoTek has definitely earned my business in the future! And for a girl in her 20's.. this has been the most stress free process ever. I cant say enough wonderful things about my experience!!

They weren't able to find the root cause of my intermittent issue, but they did comp my diagnostic fee. They also sent me home with some wiring schematics so I can continue to tinker and test. I usually only take my car to a mechanic when I lack the tools/facilities myself, so the attribute I really look for in a mechanic is integrity, and the folks at Auto Tek have integrity. They are polite, communicative, and (most importantly) I don't believe they would lie to you to make money (e.g. scare you into unnecessary work, which is sadly common). Their staff was knowledgeable and precise, not the type to cut corners to cobble things together. While I didn't get the outcome I was hoping for, I would trust my vehicle with these guys any day. I'm leaving this review since they didn't charge me for the time they spent, so at the very least maybe I can give a prospective new customer the confidence to trust these folks with their business.

I am so glad I went to AutoTek! We had an Audi Q8, per the dealership we needed to replace the coolant pump. The dealership gave us a quote of $6,500!!! Once it was inspected by the team at AutoTek not only was I extremely happy to see that their quite was 1/4 the price of the dealership, they also found other minor issues, that the dealership had missed, these minor issues could have easily caused major problems later. The whole experience was great and they will be my new go to shop for all my vehicles!

I highly recommend. My car undercarriage was damaged from a road hazard which made it immobile. At first contact with Auto Tek on the phone they were professional and transparent. It was convenient for me that they’re a AAA partnered business, so towing my car to their shop was seamless. Their electronic maintenance tracking and approval system is awesome. No pressure from the mechanics to accept recommendations. They tell it how it is and you can make your own decisions based on the thorough information they provide.

We have been going to AutoTek for over 15 years. The staff is always professional and reliable. Their work is thorough and they keep our cars in top shape so we don’t have to worry about our cars giving out in the middle of nowhere. If they can’t do the work (ie new engine) they refer you to a reliable alternative. Thank you AutoTek for being a honest and reliable car maintenance center.

I had a great time at AutoTek as they provided wonderful service and were very nice throughout the whole process. They were very thorough in the pictures that they took while taking care of my car and it was done within 24 hours. I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s slightly pricey, but they try their best to give you the best deal possible. Definitely worth the money

I couldn’t be more appreciative and grateful for the team over at Auto Tek. This has truly been the best experience I’ve ever had taking my truck to a shop. It’s a relief to find a place that I can truly trust to take care of me and my vehicle. On the mechanic side, these guys are experts in their craft. They’re incredibly thorough, capable, and considerate of your vehicle. This place truly shines with their customer service. They were able to accommodate me on short notice with a quick turn around time. Michael was my service advisor and he was great! He listened to my needs and understood my situation. He was very honest with his recommendations based on what the truck needs versus what we can monitor until a better time comes to fix it. At no point did I ever feel like they were trying to sell or “scare”me services I didn’t need like some other shops try. I spoke David in the shop and I really enjoyed our conversation.
