I waited for over 5 hours on the tow company I ORIGINALLY had through my roadside assistance and insurance. Stuck on the frontage rd of I-35 just past Riverside as the streets merge into one. Every hour in fear of being hit by every car and every call I made to the tow company I was placed on call and hung up on or told the truck was on the way and that I could cancel but it would cost a $50 fee. Traffic of course picked up and an officer pulled up behind me as I was on the phone on hold again with the tow company, WHICH NEVER TEXT OR CALLED ME WITH AN UPDATED OF ETA OR ANYTHING, and I asked the dispatcher to repeat what the eta was and the policy for cancelling and why I hadn't cancelled and gotten a new tow truck driver. Dispatcher said the reason was the driver was first stuck in traffic and had a flat and had to wait on someone to assist him on HIS repair but was 2 hours away. And I could cancel it and would not be charged since it was an issue with there vehicle. I called around and explained my situation to the companies I called hoping for compassion and found prices from $300 to $500. I was blessed to call FADI TOWING and thinking it was a mistake to again explain my situation. He told me not to stress and assured me that he would be at my location within the hour. 15-20 MINUTES tops he was at my location and getting me loaded up. This man is also a mechanic. And had me on the road THE SAME DAY, well later that night, VERY AFFORDABLE. Old East Austin prices. I no longer live in Austin but still work events in town so I was in a bind and the driver Mohammed was quick to get me off the road while I was safely in the tow truck. Got the parts I needed and car repaired that night and I was able to sleep in my own bed and at work on time the next morning and the day after. Thank you Mohammed and FADI TOWING.
