Bought two different dressers, the wood is just beautiful inside and out. Purchased without guilt knowing more trees are not being cut down. The wood is solid and dense, each piece has individual character, the overall cabinets appear to have no mass factory products sans possibly the recessed and bird drawer pulls...
Pick up at Redo & Consign Furniture in Santa Cruz was super easy and Robin was very helpful, couldn't have asked for a more positive experience all the way round.

In spite of a large yard with many different plants, shrubs & trees, as well as a variety of features (e.g. walking path, statues, bird bath, vine covered archways, sitting bench, pagodas, etc), I couldn’t get past the three exposed septic tank lids amongst the grassy part of the yard. I’ve spent the better part of a year trying come up with an idea to camouflage these without planting something with roots that would eventually work its way into the septic tanks/ pipes. Finally, we decided to go TROPICAL SALVAGE (we’ve shopped there many times before), knowing they would probably have yard art to consider. Little did we know it would take less than five minutes to find our “iconic centerpiece”…a teak tree root bench!!! Just add a bit of landscaping, and mission accomplished!! THANK YOU TROPICAL SALVAGE…THANK YOU TIM & ELI O’BRIEN!!!

We've always been huge fans of Tropical Salvage and accumulated a number of pieces over the years. Not only are they gorgeous, they have sourcing I can feel good about. I know that these are pieces that will be with us for the long run.
I was inspired to write this review because of the very lovely humans behind the store as well! I reached out looking for a specific piece of furniture and received a rapid response along with pictures. The communication was fabulous and it was delivered to my house in Seattle shortly after. Even the people who delivered the shelf were absolutely delightful!
Unique wood furniture, decor items and kitchen utensils from tropical wood. Beautiful wood grain in each piece, each one unique. They have a great sustainability ethic of reforestation in Indonesia.
