had a steering column rebuilt out of a 93 bronco, top notch. 3 hours and they were done. yes, I could've picked up a new unit on line, transferred the bits and parts over, thrown tools over the next few days and have it maybe work, or, for a lil bit more, have a pro do it.
like I tell my friends, I may have gotten parts cheaper, but I pay them for their knowledge.
Been looking for a gas tank replacement for weeks and Jesse helped me find one finally. It wasn't even his store where I ended up purchasing it. That's how awesome his customer service was. Super great! Thanks, Jesse!
I had a crunchy steering column on my F250 OBS truck. These guys pulled the steering column, rebuilt the bearings and parts in the steering column and re-installed it while I waited. It works perfectly for over a year now. Very affordable and I am Grateful.
Our truck was broken into over the weekend and the thief butchered the ignition switch trying to drive it away. Ram arranged for a tow truck to pick it up and they fixed it same day. The quoted price was fair but ended up being inaccurate - the actual price to fix the switch was even better. Really nice folks. Hope we don't have to use them again but would!
These guys knocked out it of the park for customer service. I have an older Dodge Ram Van that's super difficult to find parts for. The rep I talked to was knowledgeable, got back to me soon and was able to ship the part ASAP!
Great place for salvage. Guys were down to earth, fun to joke with, and got the parts I needed quickly, and weren't condescending like some other places that I've been. Places that seem "too busy or put out" by you calling for a part. Little hard to see signage/parking, but it's between the tool place and Airgas. Just look for what looks like a salvage yard, and go in the door that has the hours posted on it. Easy enough.
These guys are fantastic 😊
Excellent service,, very friendly
An more than enough on hand in the wrecking yard!! An very good prices! 💰💰 Forget the other guys,, call them!! 😊
I have been a long-time customer at ram light truck I own my own and I purchase my truck parts from Jesse is very awesome to work withwhen one of my customers come to me and I need something I know I can go to Jesse at ram light truck parts and he will take care of things the best knowledge you can he's working on a oil pan for my 90 Dakota that I am putting a built 318 1970 roadrunner motor inn to the truck I'm very pleased in what he does he's very if you need a truck part he's the one to get
This place is great. The two brothers who run it not only take your call but are also the ones who go out into their yard to wrench and pull your parts. They had axles for my Mitsubishi Mighty Max which are super hard to find. Next time you're looking for parts for your truck, chances are they have them or know where to get them.
Been going here for used parts for years, but never thought about asking them if they would install the parts on my vehicle before till this last time when we got to talking about a mechanic that wanted to charge me by the hour to put the used parts on my vehicle. Which I will never pay someone by the hour to work on my vehicles! Ram light Trucks offered to do the work for me for what I felt was a very fair price and they really went out of their way to make sure everything was done completely as it should be. Even did some things I hadn’t notice needing done and didn’t charge me any more either! Although I really appreciated all they did and paid them extra anyway cause they certainly deserved it!
Only problem Ram light trucks have, is they really don’t have a dry secure place to work on your vehicle. So it’s done outside in front of the business. They’ve had some issues with thieves there, so they only do the work that they can do during their work hours and have you take your vehicle home the same day. I trust Ram light truck salvage completely, their great honest friendly guys! I’d not hesitate to recommend them anytime! Whether you need parts or looking for someone to install used parts, long as Ram light truck salvage is willing to do the work you need done? I’d trust these guys more then any other shop I’ve found yet! Unfortunately the shop I used to go to for all my vehicles needs went out of business when the owner retired. They were always honest and fair prices! Sadly haven’t found another mechanic shop as fair priced and as honest since with the exception of Ram light Truck Salvage!
I’ve bought used parts here for decades actually, but recently I was going to hire someone else to install some used parts on my truck and the mechanic just seemed too shady to trust when they wanted to do the work by the hour instead of giving me a actual price for the work. I was talking to Ram light Truck parts where I was getting the parts I needed for my 89,Ford F150 4x4 and they mentioned they do the work for me if I wanted them to? When I asked how much the price was very reasonable for what I needed done. Ram Light Truck Parts really went above and beyond what they needed to do to make my truck work perfectly! Their attention to detail was amazing catching things and fixing them for me that I didn’t notice needed fixing! I trust these guys completely and if their willing to do the repairs I need that’s where I’m going from now on! Only down side is their really not set up for doing repairs. They have to do the work in front of their business outside so weather can be a problem at times! They also have some issues with theft in their area, so they prefer to do the repairs quickly during the day and have you pick up your vehicle before they close!
I just called and spoke with the nicest customer service representative at Ram Auto body. He was so helpful and knowledgeable and even though he did not have the parts for my son's truck he gave me other places that could help me. NOW that's customer service!!!!!!!!!!!! Highly recommend Ram's salvage.

Trust worthy, very friendly and helpful, go out of their way business. Very reasonable prices. This is the place to go to get your used parts. Let's keep Ram Light Truck Salvage and other Salvage businesses in business. Why would we want to spend lots more for auto parts, as we can get them straight from wrecking yards from autos that can replace just the part we need and it's reusing instead of throwing away auto parts that are just as good as new ones.
I was amazed by the service and friendly help. They have just about everything you could possibly need for light trucks and vans.I will be back and highly recommend Ram light truck salvage to any one needing parts.
They lied about how many miles a motor had on it. Over the phone the guy told me "I only buy trucks that are running, so i can drive them and feel the transmission shift". He told me the motor only had 140k. I asked him how long he had the vehicle i was trying to buy the engine for. He said "three weeks". I then asked him if i could see the engine run, he said that "He had sold some parts off of it and didn't think it would be able to start". But he then quickly assured me that "He didn't get paid for lying, and that they were pretty straight up there". So i placed the order, he told me it would be ready the next day. So the next day when i didn't hear from him, i called and asked about the status of the motor. He said they were super busy and that it would be ready tomorrow by noon. So the next day around noon i called, and he told me that they had just pulled the engine and were going to pressure wash it because it was so dirty. That was fine with me, and nothing strange, considering many companies do that. He said he would call me back. After eating and doing some things, i started to head that way. It was a 30 min drive and i figured it would be ready by the time i got there. When i arrived he told me that they didn't get chance to clean it. I told him that it was ok, and i wanted to take the motor then. When we went to the yard to look at it, i remember thinking how i had never seen an engine so dirty and oily. I could tell that the motor deffinetly was a high mile engine. I asked what it came out of, and he said a 99 suburban. After looking at it more, i asked if i could see the vehicle it came out of. He told me where it was. When i went to go look at the suburban, the dash said 211xxxk miles. It was just confirmation for me that it was a high mile engine. When i went back and told him what the speedometer said, he quickly replied that his friend had swapped the motor in it. The funny thing was, the car was tucked away far in the back with another truck on top of it. I remembered him saying that he had only had it three weeks. I knew he was lying and told him that i didnt want the motor. I have to admit, that the two guys working there were very nice, and probably good mechanics. But not very honest when it came to buying the motor i wanted
When no one else had the part I needed they had it pulled and sitting on a shelf. Good prices ,fast service. I was in and out in 5 minutes. They will be my first call if I ever brake down in Portland again.
It was a pleasure , even on my second visit on the same day (to get the right part the repair shop quoted)..Enjoyed the staff. This is my new goto place! Thank you! (( :
Great group of people. Had a window for my 1991 pickup that had already been pulled so I didn't have to do the job twice. Will be using them in the future.
Went here to get an engine for my 2.9l ford bronco 2, mistakenly paid for it before viewing it. Was told that it had 155k miles, and was a good running motor with no major issues (complete lies) . Picked it up it was full of oil all over the place extremely misstreated, but I paid for it already thinking I can still make this work.put it on my trailer and spend 6 hours pressure washing and degreasing everything. After that I started painting , and adding new injectors, distributor, spark plugs, thermostat , waterpump, and gaskets all around. I did all this before I checked the oil pan. For one they left it completely full of oil, and when I finally have the chance to check out the pan, there are large chunks of metal in the pan, from a bearing or another. This engine turned out to be WORSE than the one I was replacing!!! I spend days working on this engine painting and cleaning and replacing and they SUPPOSIDLEY INSPECTED saying nothing major was wrong with it and it was a good running motor. Complete scammers, if I didn't have a good mechanic tell me all this when he saw the pan, I would of wasted $1500 on a motor that was going to blow as soon as I start it. Went to go return it, now I'm out days and hours of hard work and a lot of money. When I return it they give me this bs excuse, oh well have to charge $130 out of $400 for a restocking fee! FIRST THEY LIE AND SELL ME A JUNK MOTOR, THEN THEY TAKE 30% AFTER I RETURN IT COMPLETELY PAINTED AND CLEANED, KNOWING THEY SOLD ME A BAD MOTOR AND HAVE THE AUDACITY TO TAKE MORE OF MY MONEY. do you see what's wrong with that, sell me a broken motor saying its good, and then taking more money when I find out its garbage.
When I return it they said they found another one they can exchange. They really think customers are that stupid for fall for their lies twice. The motor was NEVER INSPECTED, full of rust and oil, and had NO chance of running without a MAJOR REBUILD.
If you're thinking about going here for an engine , steer clear, or inspect the hell out of it because they will do everything in their power to scam you. And they do not inspect the junk they sell. So beware! Do not waste your time with these shady people.
Pictures of before and after all my hard work, to find out its thrown a bearing or cracked a piston.
They went above and beyond helping my grandpa to get the parts that he needed for his 94 pickup I really like both people who worked with us they really are very helpful and reasonable
Jesse was awesome! I called to get a new dip stick for my van. He had the part so I asked if he had any advise for getting the old busted one out. I had been trying to remove it for a while and had only succeeded in pushing it farther down the tube. He said "come on over and we will try to work some magic." He helped for a half hour and we got it out! He really went above and beyond, especially since the part I needed was not expensive.
I'm in town from New York and conveniently slammed my truck off the road into a tree. I stopped in for a few parts and ended up realizing when I got it back to work on it that I had none of the tools I needed with me. I called them to see if they could do the repairs and they had me bring it in the next day. They went so far above and beyond on such short notice with doing the repairs that it kind of blows my mind. Best salvage yard I've ever been to. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely be coming back for parts. You really cannot beat the price and level of service. They really know what they're doing. Definitely saved my ass.
I called to see if they had a winch for my 98 ranger. They called me pack within the hour to tell me they did. Cost was $45. When I called the dealer the part new was $130+$80 for installation. I showed up to ram auto to get my part and Jesse knew what I was there for right away. He "saw me drive in". He headed out to get the part. It took a bit, but not too long, 15munutes. When he came back in I asked what it would take to have it installed. He said wiping his hands that it was already done. I paid $50 for the part, installation and great service! Thanks guys! That made my day!
