Extremely frustrating experience. I called in to ask where the pickup entrance was, and the person who answered the phone was completely unhelpful. When I tried to explain my situation, he laughed and told me to “relax” instead of actually assisting me. The store is an hour out of my way, and I had to leave work early because I don’t have any other time to make the trip. If the person on the phone had taken me seriously and given clear directions, I would’ve made it on time. Instead, I ended up circling the building twice trying to find the correct entrance.
This is the worst place for car parts. It feels like everyone here is lazy and doesn’t want to work. I’ve called multiple times—no one answers or they just hang up. If they do answer, they say they’ll call back but never do. They have cars they could take parts from, like a hood or bumper, but they don’t bother. They just say the part isn’t available.
The worst company to buy used parts it’s best to over pay and by else we’re costumer service similar to third world countries. Just avoid them all together..
Jean Louis Van De Merghel at LKQ Foster Auto Ports in Portland was great to work with. He understood what was needed and tried locating the parts required. He went out of his way to find the needed unique parts. He helped me problems I had created and got what I needed (from 2 other people in 2 other branches in 2 other states.) LKQ has a great network. He got all of this on a short time frame that was perfect for my schedule. The customer service was excellent. He actually cared about what I needed and made sure I was satisfied. LKQ and Jean are super to work with.
I got to will call location almost at closing
time and even though there were a couple people in line, Steven got me help in time. Parts pick up was seamless and it was 10/10.
LKQ gives a good price on quality parts and the service at pick up Cameron Blvd. location is great. Steven was competent, articulate, prompt and courteous. I have observed him over the last year be calm and effective under pressure. Thank you Steven for your hard work and good attitude. Ken
SO UPSET!! Wasted money and time - Ordered a driver's side window, drove an hour round trip to pick it up but it was the wrong side!! They filed the wrong side window in their system! When I called to get the right one, they said the price went up over night and couldn't do anything to give me a discount for my trouble. Now I still have no window on my car, which obviously sucks as it's getting colder and I need to drive to work every day, and I have to pay more for this window and spend another hour driving out there. Really disappointed, I plan on never returning and telling anyone who will listen to avoid their business.
Went there to pick up a motor that was ready, when I got there I was greeted by getting yelled at because I showed up at 4:30 (15 mins before you can’t pick up anymore) Steven was very unprofessional and honestly don’t know how he still has a job I work for a huge company that spends a lot of money with Lkq and honestly won’t go back he needs new training or a new job I can see why the reviews at this location is not good he’s definitely part of the problem
They got me to pre pay by telling me my part would be ready for pick up today. On my way to pick it up I call to verify, and they tell me it wont be ready until tomorrow. Thought I would try them again after they sent me a motor that had been submerged in salt water, and this time I learned to NEVER go back.
