Buying and paying was very easy and experience no issues.. picking up the car was an.. first they sent the car without the key.. luckily I live about 1 hour 40 minutes from the compound..so I had to drive all the way there to get the keys in order to get the vehicle off the tow truck..These people didn't even offer me an apology, instead all I encountered at the office is attitude and rudeness.. miserable people working in that office (Cincinnati branch)..I'll still buy cars from salvagebids, just horrible customer service..

Exceptional assistance and support from Sarah and Alison. First time bidder. Platform is easy to navigate and live auction is a breeze. Fees are reasonable compared to other mainstream auction houses. The payment process on point with various ways to pay. Wiring confirmation was near instant confirmation from company. Zelle has daily limit if exceeding 1.5k. Keep in mind you need to register on IAA Transportation app (no fee) if you are picking up the vehicle yourself using licensed tow company. Staff at the yard provided outstanding customer service expeditiously. Definite a fine experience. Looking forward to doing more business with in the near future.

Customer support is super fast and very helpful. Any time I needed documents or had questions, they made sure everything was handled the same day. Even when a paper was missing, they got it notarized and sent right away. I started with the Premium account and felt the payment window was a bit tight, but since switching to VIP, it’s been much smoother. Overall, really solid service definitely recommend!

I've been doing business with this company for over 15 cars and an RV for around 15 years. They do not care about customers. Never ever make efforts to make anything right and will hide behind terms of service skewed to benefit themselves and IAA every, single, time. They never take any responsibility. Also Easyhaul is a terrible shipping service, wildly overpriced and even if you ask for your VIP paid price discount it's still far, far more than other companies. If you call SB out for accepting an insurance offer without asking you first they will hide behind terms of service that you should never have been forced to accept that they can accept offers on your behalf even if other bidders didn't bid against you that high! Either accept or lose access to the account you paid your money for. No refunds for any reason. Ever. Do not do business with this company. You've been warned.

I had a great assistance from Alison, for the last week. From the first questions when I created my account , to the deposit release, after the car payment, she was a real help! I wish other car bid companies to have such support, especiallly when you are overseas and you are sending your money far away.

I'm new to online auctions. Today I had way too many questions and Alison took time and answered them all and helped to finalize my deal. I was buying a car for my son today but after watching everything have been looking into more business opportunities in the industry and look forward to working with this auction site again. I'm not saying it was painless but it was as simple as a process like this could probably be.

Solid & legitimate agent. Excellent & responsive, every transaction is above board. Pros: SalvageBid stays in touch through out every transactional step. Cons: Not very flexible with regards to payment (wire only no credit cards) or small short comings. If you can't physically inspect the vehicle, tough luck; You are on your own. what you see may not be included in the final delivery - strick "As Is" policy. Still - For a totally web/internet transaction & experience SalvageBid exceeds expectations.

Hum, I don’t even know where to start from. They put up a car on *buy now * which means if you are the highest bidder, you will win the vehicle. Well that wasn’t my case. I was the highest bidder and the owner refused to award me the car because now he or she changed their mind as per the auction told me. Do I believe them? Not at all. Since I wanted it, they said it would sale for $750 extra which will hike more fees for the auction, their commission on the sale and all that to hurt the client. Upfront I got hit with storage fees because my driver didn’t make it in time, now I paid $50 not mad at all because it was my fault. Now my guy made it the next morning from Ohio to Syracuse, the vehicle starts and puffs white smoke off the tailpipes and a loud noise within the engine ( blown motor) I told them to refund me my money or give me an actual running car like they advertised. If they said engine damaged, would I buy that? I don’t think so. I will take this fight to my bank and actually sue this company, I will be refunded that’s all I ask for, my money back.
