I'm moving so I'm in dire need need for cash. A friend suggested I sell clothing to crossroads trading store. One afternoon about 15 minutes before closing I show up with a new heavy leather jacket with liner a suede cowboy jacket with fringe a Killstar men's nylon jacket a Levi's jacket bespoke with Christmas tree spikes a Levi's jacket bespoke with patches a VampireFreaks men's shirt two men's denim shirts from Macy's and almost knew Polo suede sneakers. Since I had arrived about 15 minutes before closing I asked staff if this was a good time. Affirmative, so I waited. When it was my turn the manager Phillip asked if I could leave my stuff. They would price it overnight and call me the next day. On good faith I agreed. I left it and the next day, I got a call with a quote for $172 cash. I should've declined and asked for all my belongings back. Like I said needed the cash so I took it but it left a bad taste in my mouth. After going through the ordeal I have recommendations. If you're going to sell them anything make a list of what you're taking and give them a copy. Reason is because when I left my pile of clothing they were very vague about the per item value they were prescribing to my items. Also their policy states that they are not responsible for any lost or stolen items left overnight, so I'm suspect staff is enjoying some of my gear. There was no itemized pricing and I did not get an invoice for what was being bought . In fact, they provided no documentation for the transaction except for a receipt that I received $172). Don't do it in a rush like I did and consider other venues of selling like Facebook marketplace, because I'm sure I could've made over $172 selling the items myself. Beware of crossroads trading on Broadway. They are in business obviously out for themselves alone. I will never again do business with this store or this company.

They provided very fair pricing on items i brought in to sell. Will definitely come back

They claim to be size inclusive, but they aren't. The biggest size I could find was a 10. They offered me $5 for a Kate Spade bag. I miss Buffalo Exchange.

I imagine all the bad reviews are from people that don't know how to dress in Denver. I got $300 when I sold them clothes and they didn't even take half of what I brought. They try to keep the store stocked with clothes for each season which is pretty typical for retail. So don't bring winter clothes in summertime etc. The customer service is great and the store is well stocked. I'll be back again to sell & purchase more clothes!

My favorite thrift store in Denver! I always find the cutest clothes here. I think the prices are overall pretty fair, and they buy your stuff for a bit more than some places would (ie plato’s closet) Only downside is staff can be really rude & snobby for no reason. I know some people are probably very mean to them and customer service sucks, I just wish they were nicer to the regulars like myself who only treat them with kindness. I have had more success in my experience with the guy employees than the girls. Idk why but the girls never accept any of my clothes and always have a judgemental vibe/snobby tone. Overall would highly recommend! Just keep your distance from the staff as they’re not friendly.

Yesterday I dropped off my clothes, they told me to come back in 1 or 1.5 hours, I went back after 1 hour and still no progress! They said they would call me, okay they called but they called 5 hours later! Then they said I should come tonight. This is such disrespectful behavior—they wasted my time, lied to me, and when I went back the next day to pick up my things, they didn't want to buy any of them because I told them on the phone that I was working right now and that they had told me 1.5 hours and called 5 hours later, so I went back and took my things again! Damn it, I went three times, and each time I had to pay for parking my car on the street! Don't go there and make yourself feel worthless!

Just wanted to come on here to say there is no consistency in buying. I brought brand new adidas in with the tags and they rejected it but bought a really old nautica jacket I brought it. Despite the sign saying they needed “adidas”. Brought the same adidas items in a couple days later and what do you know, they bought them lol.

On their websites it literally recommends the brands they like. I brought in Lululemon, Abercrombie (the relaxed 90s style which they literally still sell in the store currently), free people body suits, urban outfitters crop tops, etc. They took none of it and told me they were out of style and didn’t like “the skinny fit” of the jeans I brought in. All the items I brought in were bought in the last 2-3 years. So whatever they didn’t want to buy my items but it was over an hour wait so my advice is not to waste your time. To mention their staff was rude and literally had on bright neon skinny jeans but my current non skinny Abercrombie jeans were not in style, rightttt. They did however take the jeans I thrifted over 5 years ago. So just be warned when trying to sell to them that they actually don’t want the name brand nicer clothes. They also didn’t put half my items back and almost kept them before I went back to grab the items they didn’t give back. The items they did put back they wadded them up and threw them back into my bags when I had folded them neatly bringing them in.

if you need to sell your clothing that you no longer need this is a great place for it. once you are in the store schedule an appointment for your items to be appraised. there are fashionable items in here.
Jan 24, 2026 -
Not a place of honest business … Don’t sell your cloths here unless you want to get absolutely lowballed. They will buy your great quality items for 5 and sell it for 60 . Crossroads I understand you are a business, but you will no longer have mine or any of my friends and family .

I came for the first time with my friend because he loves selling clothes here and he didn’t have a ride, beautiful shop. It took two hours to even get his things looked at; totally ok. Once we were helped, the female employee with black hair n micro bangs took 5 mins too look through one big box, and two trash bags of clothes and said everything was outdated and she’s not interested. He’s never had an experience where he doesn’t sell atleast one thing. He had Ed Hardy Shoes & brand new clothes in there. Nothing was looked through when taking his things back. I’m just sad my friend was treated like this for no reason at one of his favorite stores, I wish she actually took the time to look through his things like we did waiting out turn. Not coming back here because of her.

Such great variety and has styles for everyone! Great vibes and all the employees are so helpful. Gio helped me that day and they were wonderful!

You must be kidding with prices! You have a Zara dress (original price is $39) and you are selling it for $25? Overall, the selection is quite poor and extremely overpriced.

I shop and sell clothes here all the time. Tried to return something I bought as a gift for someone with store credit a week ago, and they said they couldn’t do anything without the original tag. Of course I removed the tag because it was a gift!! They quoted some “national policy” and they can’t make exceptions. This is the problem with businesses like Crossroads. Even if they see your face all the time and you’ve given them your business for a decade, they can’t have the decency to just look up the transaction in the system and do the right thing. I’ll be taking my money to a local business like Strawberry Mountain from here on out.

Sold a ton of designer items that I never wore. They offered a decent amount for my items. Always best to sell based on season. This shop is frequently busy so plan ahead and reserve a spot of your selling clothes during the weekend. They make it easy. Don’t bring junk and they’ll buy some stuff. Happy selling & shopping folks!

First visit since 2015. The gear still SLAPS. I’m from Michigan and I WISH we had a spot like this. Be prepared….you will spend money. There’s too many good apparel, accessories, jewelry, hats, bags, etc. I found some rare items I’m pretty stoked about as well. Dressing rooms are huge. Love that. Most things are priced at $25. I’d say everything is a pretty good deal. No bathroom. Returns within 7 days with original receipt for store credit.

Absolutely not worth your time. I had a pair of Free Birds that had a small scuff on the bottom of the heel but were otherwise in new condition that they wouldn’t take. Sorry I walked in my shoes? You have to wait for over an hour and then when they finally give you cash, you have to wait in another long line to get your cash. Seriously don’t waste your time or energy here.

Wow! I love this store, and the staff. Great selection, and the curation is done very tastefully. Very reasonable prices, and a when I had questions, the team was knowledgeable. I had a great experience with Elise as she assisted my family and I! Would recommend 10/10

Really bad vibes. The clothes are what you expect from a thrift store, kinda bad tho. If you look into the history of building you’ll see that crossroads used to be another thrift store at the same location.”Crossroads trading” began after the previous that had a different name was forced to shut down due to a serious legal situation. Google it. This place is sketch be safe

Place is bogus. I bought some stuff from there. Came home to try on and see if I like it. I didn’t so I returned what I had bought and in the some motion I gathered items that would or what I would expect they would buy/sell but they didn’t accept them. Said they don’t buy running shoes in winter or cold months and I saw several pairs of running shoes. Said they buy used gently wore vans… welp you obviously don’t … brought in some REI pants and they didn’t like them bc they are too narrow..? And I brought in some Carharrt pants and they said the same thing. I guess trendy is only what they say is trendy … never going back. Wish I was the old place buffalo exchange was loads better

Great selection and their buy process is fair. People complain that they get low offers and you do but with that said they are running a business, if you want more than attempt to sell your items yourself. You are “paying” them to sell them. Taking the credit allows for flexibility in finding new things to add to your wardrobe. The staff is so kind and courteous, and I absolutely live the inclusion of the is store. Look for their 1/2 off tickets and have some fun!!

I miss Scout, the store that used to be here! I've tried to sell here a few times, and here's what I've learned: 1. They have a very specific aesthetic - trendy, pilling polyester stuff from Urban Outfitters and denim trends that are already outdated. Consequently, you'll see people bringing massive quantities of clothing here - American consumerism at its finest. 2. They do not take vintage, including classic stuff from the 50s/60s (see point #1). Luckily, multiple vintage stores on Broadway are available for this. 3. The fees they pay sellers are abysmal compared to what they sell the items for. At the absolute LOWEST acceptable end of the consignment spectrum, for items that are older or might not sell immediately, items should be priced at 25% of the price they were sold at originally. Divide that by 3, and that's the cash price to the seller, so that the store can make a profit. So...how was I offered $7 for a $330 wool J.Crew coat in a classic style (yes, it was definitely a few years old, but was in excellent condition and was a "core" brand listed on their website). The math ain't mathing - I knew they weren't going to turn around and sell that coat for only $21 based on the prices I was seeing in the store. Shopping wise - see the points above. Prices are high for a consignment shop, and they pay mostly for trends, so maybe if you want last year's trend at a 30% discount, go for it.

I buy and sell a lot of clothes & this place has an amazing selection, super unique pieces. The staff is friendly and also super cute ☺️☺️ I enjoyed selling here and their pay rates are pretty great compared to other consignment, especially. Definitely worth checking out for buying and selling!!

Great used clothing store! I have sold LOTS of my old clothing that doesn’t fit at this store and I’ve been very impressed by the cash payout. I recently put a Balmain sweater thru their consignment program and it sold in less than two days!!! The store is very clean, the staff is friendly, and they have a nice mix of used designer products and second-hand basics. I also want to give a special shout-out to Ferris for the top notch customer service!

Not really buying used vintage or plus size clothing despite what they advertise. Rude staff who says mean things about your items while they go through them. Also way over priced to boot. Only example of contemporary plus size fashion they could give me was torrid and lane Bryant but only if they would sell it within the last 3 years. What an absolute joke of a store. I'm sure just like the previous resident of this building you will be gone soon enough.

I sold 4 items to this place last week and I am very much regretting it. Three were these pictured (actual pieces) For Love and Lemons dresses as well as this men's block knit short sleeve shirt. Walking around the store, I found 3 FL&L dresses, all were a hundred dollars or more. They bought my 4 items for $49. All my items were in perfect condition. You do the math. So, here is a very up to date real example of how these people will rip you off. Oh, and they are snobs. They faces the make while they judge people's clothes are pretty funny.

I've gone a few times to sell clothing that is in good condition, good brands, good relevant styles and one of the clerks there does not cooperate with selling customers. She rejected some of my clothes because of the "condition" yet in their luxury shoe case they have ripped, stained, falling-apart shoes from Golden Goose that they're selling for $231. The nerve they have. I think they're subtle discriminating their selling customers.

You can find some gems here if you're willing to dig through the racks--it's a fun and rewarding process, and I'm very happy with many items I've found. But I understand other reviewers' frustration, especially about the selling process. It makes sense that they don't take everything, but when they tell you it's based on brand and/or condition, that's hard to square with the fact that you routinely see crappy brands like Forever 21 and clothes that are stained, snagged, and have holes (unintentionally) for sale in the store. Also baffled by the 3% surcharge to "keep up with the rising costs of doing business"--ok, just charge more for the clothes??

I was visiting and stumbled across this store. I bought 2 expensive ski jackets with tags here for such a great deal. Seriously shocked at how much I saved by shopping here. Honestly I would fly out on a special trip just to shop here again. Most of the negative reviews seem to be from sellers. The store has to make a profit guys. I brought a huge bag of clothes to this store when it was owned by buffalo exchange and they only bought my Coogi sweater for a fraction of what it was worth. I was a broke college student at the time so I just took the deal. That’s just the nature of selling at places like this.

Really great, curated selection of used clothes in very good quality. The store had a great vibe and I like the organization. My one gripe is that some of their clothes are great prices while others I know for a fact were about $1-$2 more brand new than what they're being sold for in the store. There's a white corset I got off Amazon being sold for $19.95 there that I got brand new for $22. I would hope that used clothes would be priced accordingly and an employee told me they usually discount them 50% of their original price but I'm not sure that's true. Other than the prices, I've found really beautiful items here.
