I had a great experience with Hotchkiss Auto Repair. They worked quickly and professionally and took care to be transparent with pricing and which services were needed. I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking for an auto repair shop they can trust!

I took a truck here for a pre-sale inspection. They lifted it up and told me to come look underneath and showed me all the problems. They could have not told me about that stuff and told me the truck was fine, but they were HONEST. Hugely important in this industry. Plus they have a nice waiting room with a comfy couch. Definitely coming back here.

Got referred in by a friend. Hotchkis had great reviews. They quoted me a price to change the oil and rotate the tires on my new (5000 miles) 2025 Subaru Crosstrek wilderness. Left the car overnight while I went out of town and when I got back, they told me they had to use a special oil. Told me they would charge me the quoted price anyway, but next time would have to pay for the special oil. So grateful that they are certified to work on Subaru and used the correct oil. Over the top customer service to charge me the price they quoted even though the oil they used was more expensive. Really nice work.

Really positive experience at Hotchkiss. Everyone was organized, communicative, and easy to work with. Kyle was great and made the whole process feel low-stress. I mistakenly thought something was wrong with my car afterward, and even though it wasn’t related to their service, they were patient and happy to help me figure it out. Thank you, Kyle!!! I have been bringing my vehicles to Hotchkiss since 2018. I will never bring my car anywhere else. They have always been reliable and honest. I always have such an amazing experience from a simple oil change to brakes and valve cover replacements. They are on it. Very trustworthy and consistent.

Hotchkiss is my go- to for my 2008 Lex. Kyle and Jas are both so friendly and helpful. My under-warranty battery died. Hotchkiss replaced it at no charge, no hassle. They even ordered me a Lyft home. This place does great auto work, the staff are friendly and professional, and they never try to upsell. Hotchkiss for life!

Hotchkiss was highly recommended from another shop that did not do the repairs I needed. Top notch people at Hotchkiss, great communication and keep you up to date on timeline to complete the work. I went in for a coolant leak and the Hotchkiss team knocked it out in a little over a day. Price was reasonable and the quality of the work was impeccable. I happen to stumble across Hotchkiss through Yelp, since they had the best reviews on there, and I can see why! This place is AWESOME!! I was already blown away from their hospitality— since it seems that almost every mechanic shop always has a negative attitude about them. The people at Hotchkiss were positive all the time and very transparent! Jasmine was the one who took care of my issues. My favorite thing about this place is the visual profile they give you if your vehicle. They send you a link that breaks down everything WITH images of your car and an explanation. No more trying to figure out if a mechanic is really telling you the truth! They even pointed out that I needed something I wasn’t aware of (with proof of course). These folks aren’t here for a quick buck or and drama. They are so nice to every customer and deserve all the recognition! No wonder they have a reputation for being the neighborhood favorite! They have won themselves a very loyal customer and I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

Hotchkiss has been nothing short of amazing to work with! I have had some major issues with my car and with a Goodyear dealership in Golden, trying to service my battery and alternator, and after multiple trips to the Goodyear, I came here and then the following year when I had the same issue with warranted parts at the Goodyear, I have officially come back to Hotchkiss full-time because I know that they can actually tell me what’s wrong and fix it. I’ve worked with Kyle almost every time and he is so great and thorough with their findings not to mention their inspection and estimate process and online review portal is like no other. They take pictures of every single thing that they inspect and rate it based on urgency of the issue And will explain to you what needs immediate attention what should probably be looked at soon and some things to just keep an eye out for down the line. I’ve recommended so many friends to them and they have all had great experiences as well! I definitely don’t love taking my car in at all, especially all the way down in Colfax, but they make it worth it!

Hotchkiss Auto Repair has become my new go-to shop! I desperately needed new brakes during the holidays and they were able to get me an appointment within a couple days. They fully inspected my car and also found I needed a new driving belt and new filters. They replaced all of it and installed new brakes for a very reasonable price. I was able to pick my car up the morning after I dropped it off at the shop and the main guy I worked with, Kyle, was so good about texting me to keep me in the loop on the work that had to be done. My car is now driving so smoothly. Kyle even texted me the following week to check in and make sure I was happy with my car after the repairs. No other shop has ever done that. I'll definitely be returning to Hotchkiss for any future repairs.

Please go see Cody at Hotchkiss Auto. I had a very hard to diagnose problem with my fuel system, and they would not rest until they got it resolved for me. They are honest to a fault and definitely work too hard. The front desk staff has always been super friendly and helpful.

Shout out to Kyle and the team at Hotchkiss for taking great care of me and my RAM for a couple decent sized repairs now. Repairs were done well, service was timely and communication/clarity of what needed done now vs could be done later was excellent. Also the price was better than other quotes I got for the vehicle. Definitely a place you can take your vehicle as a woman and not get taken advantage of. 10/10 for Hotchkiss Auto Repair.

Terrible! Take your car to a HONEST company. Another mechanic solved the problem the same day for a lower price. ……….. When I dropped it off at 11, they told me it would be a few hours before they looked at it. They didn’t look at my car until 4 hours after I dropped it off. Then they said they couldn’t find the problem and I needed to show them. My car only malfunctioned after it ran for a while, so it wasn’t happening with the technician in the car with me. I was told I could bring it back and pay an extra $50 for a more extensive inspection after paying $100 for the first inspection. I almost did it but when I talk we to the lady she said, I would still have to wait all day again. My car wouldn’t have priority even though I’m bringing it back and nothing was done the first time. I took it to another mechanic and they were able to fix the problem that day.

They are amazing. So thorough and detailed, they gave me the most complete report with proof of every single thing. They even helped me after they were closed and waited with me to make sure everything was taken care of. Truly went above and beyond explaining things, gave great recommendations for repairs. They are seriously the most transparent and honest auto shop. My tech was Jasmine, she was awesome and worked around my schedule and explained everything! That was the best experience I've had working with an auto shop. I encourage everyone to support them!

Called in to get a quote on some work on my truck, the people I spoke with were great! Broke things down better and easier to understand, gave great time lines and prices! Keep it up! Forgot to add but called back for my other truck and got an amazing quote on new tires, I’ll travel the distance to bring my vehicles here from now on!

Brought my Chevy in last week not fully knowing what was wrong with it. Jasmine walked me through all of the issues and explained what each issue was and what would need to be done, breaking it all down and easy to digest for someone who is not super familiar with cars. Love to see women in the field! Picked my car up from Kyle, customer service was great all around. Will definitely bring my car back here whenever it needs work.

It felt like they really wanted to help us! The process feels very well managed and the pricing was much more competitive than some of the larger corporate shops. The shop area appears very professional, clean, and organized. The staff was very respectful, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. I think they have struck a good balance between the "small-local" and the "mega-corporate" approach to auto repair. I would highly recommend this shop!

Great experience, and just getting an alignment I had to share how good this place is. Kudos to Kyle for being accurate with everything he told me, pricing, timeframes, etc. Very affordable. I just relocated back to the Park Hill area and cannot figure out how I missed this place before I left the neighborhood. Think I was being robbed by the local Big NO Tire shop.... Brought my RAV4 in for an oil change and tire rotation — great service, done in about an hour, and fair pricing. Staff were friendly and straightforward about future maintenance. My only wish is that they reported to Carfax, but otherwise I’ll definitely be back.

Every time I come to Hotchkiss Auto Repair it’s the best experience. The people here are always wicked nice and the customer service is amazing!!! They actually take the time to explain what’s wrong with my car and never try to push something I don’t need. Instead, they tell me what they think should be done and why, so I can make the decision myself. You can tell they care more about being honest and helpful than just selling you on work. I always leave feeling taken care of and confident my car was in great hands.

Hotchkiss has been fantastic for general maintenance on my old Honda; always communicative, fairly priced, and easy to schedule with. They also helped me replace and reprogram my broken key fob basically for free, avoiding the proposed $350 price tag at a dealership. Very happy to have found them as my go to repair and maintenance shop!
