Needed a th400 hard to get but he had one fair price $400 with a 30day warranty can’t really expect more then that it’s a fair price. Got the transmission got it back to shop and pulled pan to check it out and unfortunately found metal chunk. Sent out a text and pic shortly after he txt be back said bring it back in and we will swap it out with another. Nice guys over there at old yeller loaded me up with another trans and got it in my vehicle working good of course there a certain amount of due diligence when a person has when buying a used part like a trans or motor I replaced the filter and put a new o ring and gasket on the pump and of course like 12 quarts of transmission fluid there is a certain amount of risk when deciding to buy used
Needed a engine harness for my pickup truck old yeller had it drove to Denver on a Sunday and made the deal very good business I recommend him highly and he's honest!!!!
I purchased an ECM for $1000 for my truck that I was gonna fix up and keep! As it turned out the ECM I purchased can not be programed to my truck, and within 30 days I attempted to return the item to the shop I purchased it from and they refused to accept the return even worse they start talking to me in not appropriate manner! I simply want to return the item and get my money back, paid in cash (I guess that was my mistake to pay in cash) If you need something with warranty or possible return DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!
Stan is a delight to deal with n he always makes sure we are both happy if you need a part give him a call you can't go wrong on the price I didn't find a better price anywhere thanks again for the help
Had a great experience at Old Yeller Auto. Stan is a great guy to work with, a man of his word, he would rather be up front with people then to make a sale and this is very rare to find with business anymore. Very respectful to your time and kept great communication with me so I respect him and his business alot for everything they do. Stan and his guys run a great business, I look forward to doing business again and recommend to anyone else
for all the people who think to buy engines and parts in old yeller I will tell you that these people are not serious at all, they are not serious liars, they do not respond to guarantees, I do not recommend anyone to buy anything here that has a guarantee because this company is not a serious company I have more than two months to send me a new engine or $ 8000 and they do not answer the calls. and they respond to other numbers, in short, they are not worth a peso, this company I have a demand for them, ok
I do quite a bit of auto repair for many years and went to lots of salvage yard but it was my first time came to Old Yeller hoping they would have a transmission part I really needed that no other places have it, I handed the broken peice to the guy, he looked from shelf to shelf and I said to myself this is not good for me and then I heard " found it " I quickly ran towards him and sure enough it is what I needed, he was very helpful and friendly, price is fair, he even handed me all bolts, I was very happy that I came here. Thank you
P.S. I browsed around and they have hard to find stuff. Give them a visit if you ever need parts for your vehicle.
I needed a common 8 lug Chevy truck rim. No one in town had it except for Old Yeller. When I got there they sold me the rim for a great price and even mounted my tire on it. These guys were great!
Do not buy parts or cars from this business! I bought a school bus and the owner Stan made mistakes on the bill of sales and refuses to fix it as well as refusing to get me a title after he promised me one! He made excuses and blamed it on me saying it was my job to bother him to get it done. He constantly changed his story on why he hasn’t gotten one to me. By Colorado law he has 30 days to get the title to me. He’s now saying
“There’s nothing in writing that I told you I would promise you A title. I said I would try to get you a title”
I’ve never dealt with anyone so unprofessional. He was never planning on getting me the title! This is a bad company with shady business practices. What he did was illegal! Do not support this business!
This is the place to go if u want fair and honest pieces, Stan is very knowledgeable and quick to help locate the part you need even if he doesn't have it he'll find it for you.
