BEST Auto repair shop in town. A part broke on my car sunday at 4:30 making it undriveable. Micheal and Mike took the time to to get it inspected and fix my car ensuring that I could get to work on Monday. They are honest and genuine, and I feel extremely comfortable bringing my vehicle back for future repairs and services.

5/5 stars! My wife’s skid plate on her 2018 Honda Civic fell off in the middle of the freeway. Late on a Sunday evening Mike was able to get us in and back on the road. He treated us like family, and I will be taking all of my vehicles to Mike from now on.

Michael and his team are awesome! They were incredibly transparent about pricing, honest about what actually needed to be done, and didn’t try to push any extras. I’ve been through many shops that I just couldn’t trust, so finding a place like this was a huge relief. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt respected and confident throughout the process. I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance. It’s hard to find a shop this trustworthy!

The shop easily stands out on Main Street, and has easy drive in/out access on a corner. For the Driver that is nervous or intimidated by Auto Service Centers and fast talking Service Reps; this is the place for you. There is no pressure, only friendly suggestions to keep you on the road. Easy to work with... Owner Michael supports the local colleges such as ASU, GCU and the various Flight/Flying School academies in the Phoenix region with great Customer Service. One of the excellent mechanics is Jessie, a good guy with amazing patience and a friendly calm nature. Mechanic Jessie is like an ardent forensic investigator, well trained, searching your Engine and vehicle systems to identify the quickest fix technique to get you back safely on the road. Proof that this Auto Shop is a good Customer oriented business are simply the friendly faces of the Customers & Staff. Watching Michael politely, taking his time with a lady client at her car, explaining an issue in her suspension system and pointing directly to the repair area so she can see for herself and understand, proving Customer Advocacy and transparency. Educating her on repairs performed was impressive and rare to see. Excellent Customer Service, friendly staff, a wide array of vehicle repair makes AZ Community Auto Repair, with a motto of "Transparency in Business" a safe place to take your Car when issues arise. Recommend especially for Females or Seniors that are unsure of Car mechanics, and need a trustworthy maintenance partner. Try this shop. For your convenience, there is also a key drop box for after hours vehicle drop off.

A++ service! these guys hauled tail in 108° weather to get my car road worthy for a cross country trip. Thanks to all the hard work fixing things needing to be fixed (or fixing things incorrectly done in my home state), we are making up for lost time with 2 new tires to boot. This place knows their stuff and was keeping me up to speed with what they were finding and what should be done/could wait. I can't recommend them enough!

I went in with temperature gauge not sending to display, around Feb1022, and warning about "engine hot - turn off AC" on a Chevy Impala. Since the car has 130k miles, I figured while doing it, just replace thermostat and water pump to avoid future failure. Michael Knepp quoted me a price literally 50% of a shop one mile or so west. I've never used him before and it sounded too good to be true. IT WAS NOT, service was excellent and price was excellent, and problem resolved on schedule. After replacing those parts, they also found a faulty sensor on the engine, I bought the 20.00 part and his mechanic replaced it free of charge. Not only am I thrilled with the service, I'll definitely use his shop again and heartily recommend to others. As a bonus, the parts were 50% of my cost if I bought them at the auto parts shop. He looked up the parts online and showed me options. Kudo's to Michael and his employees. 5 STAR ALL THE WAY!! Oh, and call the number on his card and he picks up, it's his cell so always available. Darn google won't let me post more than one. Well this week went in with Check Engine, it was a p0455, and I think p0038, evaporation leak codes, around 4/2024. Turns out hose connection on top of gas tank has huge leak, appeared to have been eaten by some animal. Regardless, at dealer, close to 2000.00, Mike got it done for 421.00, and passed emissions immediately. Thanks so much!! I'm just a guy who appreciates great and honest service, Mike exceeds every time. Thank again, Mike and crew!!

Michael was super helpful while I lived in Arizona for a year as a student. I was driving a mercedes that had a few issues during that time, and he always responded to calls quickly, doing the repairs well & in a reasonable time. Thank you Michael & team!

I was able to bring my car in on a Sunday afternoon and have it back by Monday afternoon. Super quick and friendly service, even though there were quite a few things to be done on the car. I am a foreign student in Arizona and the shop owner of this place, Michael, has a long-standing tradition of fixing the cars of students that attend our school. I was one of those, when my AC recently broke down. Michael was superb in transparently communicating what was wrong with my car, and what the estimated repair costs would be. His way of conducting business is based on honesty an mutual respect. I definitely recommed this repair shop, the workers over there gave me the impression of being knowledgeable and pragmatic. Overall this was a very pleasant experience, and I would happily go back.

I was told about Michael & his shop thru a friend while back. I went in today because my car wouldn’t turn on sometimes, Michael was able to take a look it the same day I dropped it off. He was very friendly and honest, didn’t beat around the bush with what the problem might be like another mechanics I took it to. He was able to install a new battery plus warranty on it, and provided me with the paperwork for the battery and invoice for everything. I will honestly continue bringing my vehicle to him.

A non-descript-looking little place on Main St. that has an awesome body & paint guy (Mike) & knocks out top-notch vehicle details. The best part? Fantastic pricing! Perfection!

These guys were great! Had an emergency repair needed. I called before they opened, owner started texted me back well before they opened, and let me know right when a tech was here to bring in the truck. Definitely a solid little mechanic shop!

Came here in the morning, dodge charger with a clicking noise, and thought it was done for. Mike took the time to check it out and explain what was going on.There team was able to fix my rotor and brakes and give me information on how to keep my car, all for about half of what I would have paid at another place. Grateful for you Mike and your team. Definitely would recommend.

I am so grateful that I found Mike and his mechanics at Arizona Community Auto Repairs. I originally accidentally went to a closed down tire shop and realized right next door was one of the coolest, funniest, caring guys I have ever met! Mike has always helped me understand every detail of what I come in to acquire about. He has gone above and beyond to fix our family car brakes (He even drove me 20 minutes to my home so I didn't have to Uber!) and then I went back to him for a full set of tires a few months later. I have been very pleased with all of the work I've ever gone to them for. Recently our van was over heating and even with me coming later in the day and fully expecting to have to come back the next day, they were awesome and had my van perfectly running and back with me in a couple of hours. Come here for the fairest pricing and solid work that can be found!

Easter Sunday morning and my car won’t start. Jumping the battery didn’t work. I thought it was probably the starter. I’ve never used this business before, but they were open so I called them. Mike was very helpful over the phone. I had the car towed to his shop, and he kept me posted via text message every step of the way as work progressed. By late afternoon he was driving my fixed vehicle to my home. His charge for the work was very fair. I believe he is fair and honest, and very willing to help. I would use his business in again in a heartbeat and would recommend him to a friend.

I just want to shout out this fabulous Auto Repair shop. As soon as you walk in it feels homely and inviting . And Mike is the best. He works with you and makes sure he is very honest with you. I got a family vibe from all the workers and everyone had great attitudes. And due to the problems with my car I had to leave it over night. Mike gave us a ride home about 45 minutes away. I’m not from Arizona so I really didn’t know what to expect but I am very glad I was able to find this repair shop on google. If I’m in Arizona and need my car fixed again I know exactly where to go.

TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Excellent service, one of the only repair places open on Sundays. Mike is a real straight shooter, very up-front, parts plus labor thats it, his mechanics are very freinedly and reasonable. Would absolutely reccomend him to anyone!

I would not recommend going to this place. They may be nice people, but I had to take my car here 3 different times for the same issue. It was a waste of money even if It was cheaper. I feel like they did not diagnose my vehicle properly. If you want to go here to get your time wasted, be my guest.

Most honest shop around with more than fair pricing. The owner is such a kind hearted man. The guys in the shop are very nice and will take the time to explain what’s going on with your vehicle. I highly recommend stopping by if you need work done!!

I stopped into this shop a year ago and have been coming back because of the friendliness and the quality of work that they have given me. I'm from out of State and was looking for an auto repair service where I could talk with the manager and the mechanics and have the connnection where we were working together to get the vehicle on the road again without an outrageous repair bill. They have given me the "back home feeling" where I can trust them and their work ethics along with becoming friends. I've been very satisfied with this business and have referred others so they can have their auto needs satisfied and will continue to do so.

The experience at this business is one of the most shocking I've experienced. The owner, Mike, tried to charge me for something he did not fix. I explained kindly over the phone that the issue was not resolved, he hung up on me in the middle of my speaking to him. When I went to pick up my car he was rude and unprofessional; acting as if I didn't come to get my car. I reccomend finding a new mechanic. The customer service here is about as fun as a colonoscopy. Find a real mechanic. Trust me.

This place by far the best auto repair shop I have been to. He was very honest with me. When I was going through a situation with my job he was very understanding and willing to work with meI don’t consider him my mechanic I consider him my friend.

During this pandemic we are all feeling the pinch and that what makes the kindness Michael Knepp showed us when we were really hurting my daughter's car had been in an accident and both front rims were bent we didn't have the money to buy a rim so we were hoping that the rim that had the leaste damage would hold air enough to use for a spare well Michael went above and beyond he got a sledge hammer and tried to straighten out the rim and he did ! It was hot and he beat on my rim to get it straightened out enough to hold air again only for a spare. He definitely warned me about driving it for anything other than to get my car off a freeway if I had a flat. Michael encouraged me to go to one of the salvage yards and get a new rim asap ! Then he tried to put the tire I had brought (a used tire) on the rim and the tire had a slash in the side of it! When it rains it pours ! Anyway he went in the back and brought me a used tire and put it on and then did not want to charge me since it wasn't something they would normally do because of the bent rim but I insisted he at leaste take $10.00 for the tire he begrudgingly took the money and told us come back if need any repairs on that car . We will because that was a very nice thing to do right now so many people are just trying to survive and I don't know what we would have done without a spare . So thank you Michael we will get another rim this week when the unemployment hits and you made it possible for my husband to make it this job interview so God Bless!! There are still good people out there!

These guys were great, took my truck in and had me ready and running in 3 hours! They were friendly, fast and honest, this is my new “ go to place for auto repair” my Range Rover runs A1!
