Owner and staff knowledgeable, professional and caring. Customer service was excellent. They were friendly, kind and considerate of my situation. Two previous mechanics had tried to fix my bus but after much time and money they couldn't fix the problem and sent me on my way without fixing it. It was a complicated problem but Callahans dug deep keeping me informed every step of the way and figured it out. They gave me a bus that runs better than it ever had. They also gave me a list of things that will need doing in the future and an estiment of the cost, along with a maintenance plan to avoid further problems. Special shout out to Preston, Bob and Hank for taking such good care of me and my bus. I highly recommend these men and their shop. They figured out the problem when others couldn't. Trustworthy, honest, knowledgeable and caring. I give them 10 stars.

I had to call about 6 times to get information about my truck when they clearly told me they would keep me updated.
The worst part is that the diagnosis cost $200 and they told me it would take a maximum of one hour. In the end, it took more than two days and they charged me $350.
When my AC system began intermittently slowing down and randomly stopping, I knew I needed a reliable mechanic asap. I found that with Callahan Automotive. They were able to quickly assess that my blower motor needed to be replaced. They also performed an additional full vehicle inspection to help me get ahead of any future vehicle problems. I am so grateful for their quick diagnostic team and service team who made my vehicle feel like new again!
We had Callahan work on our 2005 Diesel Ford Excursion in February 2024 because it had a coolant leak. They charged us $11,270 including replacing the radiator. We don't drive it much. The first time we took it on a long trip to Queen Creek it overheated. We had it towed back to Callahan. They said it needed more work and charged us $1,239. We were driving to Sedona when it overheated again. We towed it back to Callahan. This time they did not charge us but said it was fixed. We were driving back from Sedona and it overheated again. We took a picture of the cheap plastic part that broke. Back to Callahan it went. During our conversations we were accused of pulling a trailer which we were not doing. They also blamed the age of the truck. Granted it is 20 years old but it only has 100,000 miles. Three weeks later they gave us an estimate of an additional $5,600 to fix it. During the conversation we were told we could never pull a trailer and it would probably break down again. We specifically asked if they had checked the head gasket and they said it was fine. At this point we had lost all faith in Callahan's workmanship. We took it to Monster Diesel. In about 2 hours they diagnosed it was a bad head gasket. The radiator we just replaced was too small and cheap. If we towed anything with this radiator it would overheat. The part that was just replaced was not installed correctly and would have separated again. There could also be major engine damage because the truck has overheated three times which will be very costly to repair. We would not recommend Callahan.
Experience was upstanding, I absolutely recommend Callahan auto and diesel services,my air conditioner broke in a very very Arizona 🔥 🥵 hot day and they took care of my car without previous appointment 😀, I'm bless,thanks so much,blessings to everyone who works hard there to help people doing a wonderful job.
I don’t see how people are saying this shop is so communicative. I had to keep reaching out after being told several different times “worst case scenario or by the end of the day for sure” like 5 times. I understand some delays but the fact that I had to keep reaching out for an update is poor business practice. I am very patient if someone reaches out to me if there are delays but I didn’t feel like a valued customer and felt that because it was a warranty job they didn’t care at all for my business. Also one of the managers wrote something very unprofessional about immigration on tiktok so maybe watch what employees are writing if they have their social media linked to the business.
I haven’t had any work done yet but I plan to. Customer service and everything else was close to perfect and Preston is very personable. I will have to do an updated review as soon as I go back to get my work done!
One of the most professional businesses I have found. I had warranty work completed. They were recommended to me highly for a reason! Communication was above and beyond!! Would highly recommend. Took my car in for an oil change and because I thought I needed a brake job. They did the oil change that my car had signaled I needed, but told me I didn't need the brakes done for a few more months. Mitch is great to deal with to set up your appt. My friend has already taken her car into them on my recommendation.
Great customer service from them. I took my truck in for break lights and sensor codes. They analyzed vehicle told me the problem and repaired very quickly. Cost to repair was fair, and they are very thorough with vehicle inspection for any other faults.
They did an amazing job, and have done what many wouldnt have, they knew they could help out with the sensor issue by guiding me over the phone so that i didnt have to pay for the callout fee, they charged such a low price for a really good job, they were knoledgable respectfull and patient. i dont know what to say.
This is great shop with a great group of guys! From the front desk, to shop floor, to the mgr office! Excellent customer service from start to finish. I felt very comfortable that they were getting to the root of the issue w. my car and giving me honest assessments. Definitely recommend!

After going to 3 different uhaul places we were sent over and Mitch took care of use quick and easy. It was definitely some of the best customer service i have had at a uhaul place and he even recommended a few places to me which I definitely appreciate.
My car was not starting, because Big O tires dropped my key and broke it, and Preston, bob, and hank were all very helpful in fixing my car and getting me a new key as quick as they were able to. This was my first time at Callahan Auto and I am very happy with the services that were done on my truck . Amazing service and quick turn around! We are currently on a road trip with our ram Pro master and ran into some issues with our Check engine light turning on. The Callahan team were all super friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a family owned business feel which we were lucky to find 1000 miles away from home. They were able to get us in and back out on the road in less as than a day which made everything a lot smoother. Very Reasonable prices as well.

I had such a great experience coming to this shop. I brought it in for an oil change but had my check engine light on and no previous shop/mechanic could tell me why since there was nothing wrong with the engine. These guys were able to figure it out and even get it through emissions for me. Mitch was very communicative throughout the whole process and was very helpful when I brought up financing options. Best experience I’ve had with an auto shop so far!
