This is the coolest store! Every booth area has different styles and all kinds of awesome goods. Ive found a ton of great gifts and decorations. Retro, antique, childhood toys, clothes...from all over the world. Love it!!
So, we stopped by Midtown Mercantile today and I spotted this cool piece that I thought would be a perfect addition to our outdoor art collection, I found a staff member and asked if I could make an offer on the item, I was informed by the staff member that "vendors at Midtown Mercantile do Not accept offers or discount their items". I found that statement sadly amusing based on some of the signs posted around the shop that boast discount percentages. Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, We Won't Be Going Back To Midtown Mercantile
We snowbird to Tucson three months each year and always hit the antique shops a couple times. This place was a disappointment this year. No way can it be called antique shop anymore after moving from other location. Much bigger space and open and bright but looking at the products and the people walking around it is more of a follow latest fashion place. Mentioned this while being checked out at a real antique shop later and was told other customers had mentioned same thing. Probably great for what it is but not an antique shop,
There was a group of sellers blocking the walkway to chat about how everyone is buying there stuff and they can’t keep their booth stocked, when I said excuse me and tried to get by I was ignored which is crazy considering if I bumped anything trying to get around them I’d be charged bc profit! profit! profit! am I right!
I appreciate owners very professional response to this review and I will likely keep shopping here knowing there’s a serious person behind the business.
My sister and I had a very bad experience here. It was my sister my niece and I that came in. As we were walking around I started to notice this guy that was getting uncomfortably close to us. He was walking in every booth we went into. We go downstairs and what do you know he's right behind us and than his walkie goes off and thats when i noticed he was a worker. He went back up stairs to unlock the bathroom door for someone and than came back down and again he was following us. We decided to go back up stairs and he was right behind us so I stopped and stared at him he stared right back at me and didnt say anything just stopped. We ended up leaving. This is unexceptable behavior no one should ever feel uncomfortable coming in this store no matter what. All we did was walk around, look around, pick some stuff up and say wow thats cool but overly expensive. There was no reason for us to be followed and practically pushed out of the way when trying to look at things.
I can’t believe I waited five years to leave this overdue review. As both a vendor and an avid Midtown shopper, I can confidently say this is the absolute best vintage mall in the state. The owner and staff are truly what set this place apart.
At a time when the art of customer service has faded from so many brick-and-mortar stores, this shop keeps it alive and thriving. It delivers a Saks Fifth Avenue–level shopping experience within an antique mall setting.
Every one of my homes is curated with special, one-of-a-kind pieces from here. You can genuinely feel the love, creativity, and energy poured into every inch of the store. I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of such an incredible place.
The prices are based on the vendors so some are amazing some are a rip off, but I love the business and love looking at all of the cool stuff for sale here every time I go
Was a great store but was really surprised when I asked to see one ring that was in the case that I was pretty set on buying and then the cashier told me they have a policy where they don't open the case half hour before closing. But when i wanted to look at it 30 minutes before, there was a long line of people checking out and no one else in sight. I'll never understand turning away buyers.
What a great store, we were so excited when we found this beautiful place. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We found just what we had been looking for. I even found a beautiful vintage U of A sweatshirt. This is now our go to for unique gifts.
This place was pretty neat. If you love vintage clothing, furniture and accessories, you will find them here. Loved the 60s furniture and a lot of cool 80s pieces. You are looking for a vintage item I have no doubt you'll find it here. Need to go back and look again.
Nicely curated antique mall with plenty of parking. Large selection of vintage clothing, antique furniture and home decor, books, jewelry, and more. Antique mall prices and an overall good selection of options depending on what you are looking for.
They have some pretty cool lighters and this one has caught my eyes a couple times. It was in great condition and after some more TLC - look pretty nice!
I stopped in today and left feeling disappointed and a little uncomfortable. I completely understand the need for a security guard given the location, but I wasn’t aware that an ID was required to make a purchase. If there were signs posted, I must have missed them. It was embarrassing to be turned away over a $30 debit card purchase.
What stood out most to me, though, was the way the situation was handled. Sometimes it feels less about the policy itself and more about how the staff makes you feel in the moment. This isn’t the first time I’ve left feeling that way with the cashiers at this location.
That said, the store itself is great — with excellent vendors and quality products. I just wanted to share my experience in the hope it can be a little smoother for customers in the future.
This is an amazing place, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a vendor. My wife and I were shoppers long before joining Midtown. It's truly one of the most unique shopping experiences in all of Tucson. The items vendors find are amazing, mind blowing at times. There really is something for everyone!
What makes Midtown extra special is the atmosphere—easy, fun, and full of good energy. The staff are kind spirits, always smiling and ready to help. With so many events and creative happenings, every visit feels like you stumbled into something new and exciting.

Beautiful place!! So many things and treasures. Was disappointed to see an item sold at the dollar store price for four times its value. But still a great store.
Midtown has a fantastic Underground experience. Take the elevator down, or there are stairs if you want a little exercise. But however you choose to get to the Underground, go! There's so many unusual items there to look at and buy. You will be glad you went "under". LOLOLOL

A five star place. If your looking for some vintage stuff for a room in your home this is the place! They have everything you could think of, furniture, some awesome art and honestly anything you can think of. They also have postcards, snacks, and sweets. The people that work here are really amazing too!!!
This is my favorite place to thrift/antique. The prices are very reasonable and it is all organized so perfectly. It is curated to perfection. The staff is absolutely precious. I love coming here and I love that my house is full of amazing stuff because of this wonderful place. They also have a rad point system.
I would like to say this place is one of the best in Tucson. Very helpful staff and the place is kept very clean. The Star Castle game is so amazing! We will definitely be back to shop again soon.
My first trip to Midtown Mercantile will not be my last! So many gorgeous booths and many treasures to find! This place is so huge, give plenty of time to search.
Absolutely awesome! The place is like the TARDIS; bigger on the inside. There's so much amazing stuff and the prices are reasonable. It's hard not to find something you love and need to have in your life. The staff is great as well.
I liked the store but it was very overpriced. The MCM furniture in decent shape was way above even average price range in bigger cities. The art was nice but again, over median price range. So for that it loses a couple stars because it just doesn't really flow with the spirit of vintage and antique shopping for me. Additionally the parking is limited. But the store is well organized so thats nice.
I could spend ALL day in this gem of a shop! If you LOVE antiques, like I do, you will find unique and completely wonderful items here.
I love that they have a mix of original artists work, mixed with re-done items, and completely original, untouched antiques.
Go on Saturday and Sunday when they offer coffee and popcorn because it makes the browsing even more enjoyable.
