My wife gave five stars but didn’t write anything. I highly recommend this place. And I was in the car business. We bought an older, very low mileage car that might be the nicest one in the country. They had a wide variety of cars from a couple years old with low miles to a 1967 Mustang. Basically all budgets. I was hesitant to shop at a small mom and pop dealer, but am glad I did. The whole process was easy and efficient. Mason has been there for about 4 years which says a lot of positive things to me about the owner. If they have a vehicle that meets your needs, I would absolutely go there.

I cannot say enough about this dealership. The buying process was smooth and Burk and Mason were great. However, after the purchase is when they really shined. There was concern that the vehicle needed major repairs that would have cost a great deal of money. This didn’t actually come to fruition. Nevertheless, I was placed in contact with Jon the owner who was not only reasonable, but gracious, kind, and generous through the whole process. To me this highlights the class of this dealership. Obviously any place looks great when everything seems to go smoothly but they went above and beyond when it potentially took a turn. If you are looking for a vehicle check them out as they will make sure to stand by you as a customer. I will certainly be back.

Mason was very easy and straightforward. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased and earned my trust. I would buy another car from him and would recommend him to anyone.

Mason did a good job — he was easy to talk to and made the purchasing process smooth. When we were looking to buy a modified 4Runner, I noticed some clunking sounds when shifting that seemed abnormal. I don’t expect a salesperson to also be a mechanic, and Mason assured me the mechanic they use had inspected the vehicle and found no issues. We assumed it was related to the modifications and decided to go ahead with the purchase. Unfortunately, the noise continued. After taking a closer look, I found that the car was missing some suspension components, and several bolts were either loose or missing. Due to the safety concern, I parked the vehicle for several days and made the necessary repairs myself. All this to say — I’d recommend getting a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) from a trusted, independent mechanic to make sure the vehicle you’re buying is in proper condition. Edit: Mason reached out, and let me know they are sending out funds to cover this repair. That gesture really meant a lot and showed they stand behind their sales.

I can honestly say this was the easiest, fastest, and most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had! Mason was amazing to work with - most definitely a no pressure environment. Almost three months later, I am very happy with my vehicle and with the price I paid for it. This will be the first place I look the next time I need a vehicle!

Mason was incredibly easy to make a deal with. He's got an excellent assortment of fine vehicles to choose from. I liked them all, but there was one so special that I came from Los Angeles to test drive it. (He would have shipped it to me, but I wanted to test drive it first.) Mason was accommodating and easy going, with no pressure tactics or other intimidating sales techniques. This was the most pleasant car purchase experience I've ever had.

Easy, no problem, had all the paperwork ready to go when we came back from cleaning out our car to trade in. My husband went a few days earlier to get everything started.

Burk was a rock star! Burk put up with my unrelenting barrage of questions. Burk provided a Carfax along with a video and in his words, “I won’t steer you wrong.” he did not disappoint. I’ve NEVER traveled out of state to purchase anything much less a vehicle and I’ve owned many as a 57 year old. Burk is the reason I bought this vehicle from Tucson and drove it back to Northern California. I highly recommend Tanque Verde Motors and do ask for Burk.

I was car shopping for my son online and saw a vehicle that piqued my interest. I hit the interested button and not a few minutes go by I get text message from Mason Porras of Tanque Verde Motors. He was quick to answer my questions and I was out the door excited to take a test drive. When I arrived at the office it was well kept and clean. Jon was respectful, easy to talk with and more than helpful while Mason was busy with other customers. I took the 2009 GTI for test drive and I was hooked, great price and low miles. When I returned, Mason took care of me and made the process of buying a car easy. He didn’t try to up sell or provide anything I didn’t ask for. He was very respectful to my wife and me. The next day my son was so excited to pick up the car and again Mason was more than helpful taking care of the last-minute items. My experience with this business and the employees was well worth the trip.

I worked with Mason in purchasing a Toyota Tacoma. As most people, I typically find the car purchasing process to be challenging, and do not look forward to dealing with salesmen. This was completely different. I found Mason to be honest, fair and reasonable. He patiently answered all of my questions, and we were able to quickly come up with a price we agreed on, as well as addressing all of my concerns with purchasing a used vehicle. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this dealership to family and friends, and if ever in need of a vehicle again, I will check here first.

Buyer beware! Do not trust this dealership and certainly do not trust Mason. My husband and Mason came to an agreement on the purchase price on one of their used cars, and while my husband was in the process of completing the required paperwork, and had given Mason a copy of his driver's license as Mason requested, the car was sold right out from under him to another buyer. Mason and Tanque Verde Motors couldn't have cared less about what they did. They probably used my husband's offer to boost the sales price to the other party! Clearly, Tanque Verde Motors lacks integrity and trustworthiness. In hindsight, I'm glad the deal did not work out because who knows if they were being honest about the car. I'd much rather spend our money at a dealership that can be trusted and who conducts business with integrity.

I do not usually right out reviews, but my experience with Tanque Verde Motors was immaculate. I want to give a huge thank you to Mason as he made the experience of buying my first car easy and simple. He was very transparent with the questions I had and answered them perfectly. I am very happy to have bought my first car with Mason at Tanque Verde Motors.
