My issue with Gerry Lane is how pushy, inconsiderate, and ignorant the financing and accounting department are. The day of sale discussion with the financing group essentially revealed that the 0% APR was not in fact achievable unless you forfeited all other rebates. There were a number of incorrect calculations done on the interest rate that I myself had to correct the accountant on. When requesting tax documentation to file, I was denied access to my 15400 and hung up on. If you want any form of competence, especially when buying an EV, you would be better off elsewhere.

This is actually for zachary location but they keep getting google to remove it Took vehicle in mid November 2025, the 14th to be exact. Took a week to get any correspondence and it has been horrible since. As of MLK 2026 no vehicle returned. Service writer really screwed it up and dealer offered to handle all repairs at their cost after I suggested I would be contacting a lawyer after repair cost estimate went up 1000% and I have a lifetime warranty. However that was before christmas and again no vehicle yet. I am patient but this place is a joke Tried calling with no return call as of this review. Never mind there has been random intermittent communications via text. Its always we need more time, part or $$$ even though I have a lifetime warranty. Now it's just that they dont know what they are doing in my opinion and making excuses. Luckily I dont need the vehicle and that is the only reason I am still just laughing at how inept this place is. Called and Finally got through and talked to a dealership manager. He didn't recall details well and I had to remind him of it all. I recorded conversation for legal purposes. They claimed delay was because I said it wasn't urgent. Well 2 months and no effort on their end is more than enough patience on my end I feel. Promised a call back but didnt get one. Had to call them back. No one in service got a message to call me Apparently now there is something else they need to fix. Yet the person an just hour ago didn't know this. Such a joke. Going to take another week or so to get more parts. Or so I am told No one has named the part being referred to. Yet I've been told twice parts have come in and then were defective. Forward to No uodate other than we are still waiting for a part that they cannot tell me name of. Uodate Feb 2 2026 Another week and another "failed part on arrival" amazing how many bad parts they seem to get. Feb 6 Another week of no updates or call backs. Called and was told I would get a call back on status. Still nothing and now they habe stopped responding to texts which they initiated.

This is the BEST experience I have ever had in my life purchasing a new vehicle. The reason for my superb experience is due to Mrs. Shunaiqua "Neek" Bell!! The guy's helped me with my "radiator hose leak" warranty work. Provided rental car, then when I forgot my garage door opener in the rental when I returned it, they called the rental company because I could not get through to them and got the rental employee to locate the garage door opener and retrieve it for me before the vehicle could be rented to someone else. My sales person, Nique, greeted me when she saw me and went to check on the status of my truck. Thank you Mr. Chapman! I took my 82-year-old mother to purchase a 2026 Buick Envista, and as we all know, buying a car can be very agitating. After finding the right vehicle, we met with Mr. Quentin Chapman, the finance manager, to finalize the deal. Mr. Chapman has a very calm and peaceful spirit. Because of my mother’s age, he had to explain things and answer the same questions more than once, and he did so with exceptional patience and kindness. That level of understanding was truly priceless. I would definitely work with Mr. Chapman again and highly recommend him.

Where do I begin with my story. I just brought my 1st Encore in March Mr. Tony Russ (sales associate) & Ms. Keioike (sales manager) were the ones I worked with on that sale. Fast forward to Dec. 10th I was t-boned. I knew the reliability was going to be good but let alone safety features of it. At 1st | wanted a bigger SUV, Tony showed me a Terrain but something just kept sending me back to the Encore but it was the Sports Touring model. Well, long story short I had been eyeing the two at two other dealerships w/ bells and whistles cause they didn't have what I wanted Gerry Lane. Low & behold, they surprised me by getting one of them. But then, my credit union said "nope" these places has it cheaper u can go there (they was looking out for my best interest financially). I was willing to walk away with no car and get my old car back on the road. Tony said, "No, we about to try to get you in this car; that we work hard to get for you." Even though I was in pain it was all worth the wait. But after careful deliberation they were willing to work there New Year magic for me. I'm so thankful for both of them.... Tony for peeling away the layers to understanding what I really wanted when I would verbalize it & Keioike that I came back, put my trust in yall to make it happen instead of another dealership. Between the both of yall, y'all understand the customer and have impeccable customer service keep up the great work and I wish y all a happy new year!

I was there to get 2 new tires that I was charged for months ago and did not receive. We were told that they were unable to get the tires and they’d call us when they came in. While we were waiting on the tires, my car started having other problems and was at the service department at another dealership for weeks because I had lost confidence in Gerry Lane because of the way I was treated. While my car was with the other dealership, my husband got a call stating that the tires were in. He made an appointment to have the tires put on. I brought the car in and my visit went well into the night (the night of your Christmas party) because the machine that puts the tires on suddenly broke. They had to bring my tires next door to the Chevrolet shop to use that machine to put my tires on the rims. When the tires were finally put on my vehicle and service was complete, they tried to charge me again for the tires. I noticed that the amount was 200.00 less this time than what I was initially charged, but I was so annoyed, i didn’t even address that. A manager quickly got involved because he was standing right there and resolved that issue. I then left, but had to return because they forgot to give me my wheel lock. My consultant insisted it was the correct one, but my husband says it’s not, so they gave me someone else’s. I hope I don’t have any issues on my next oil change and tire rotation or have any emergencies before my next appointment. I began using Gerry Labe service because I felt that the service department where I purchased the vehicle was sub par. When I first started going to Gerry Lane, the service was great. I’m not sure what has happened in the last few months, but I no longer have confidence in the service department. I hope they can fix whatever’s broken.

Made an online appointment for my truck 4 or 5 days prior for an oil change, tire rotation, windshield wiper switch not working properly, tailgate opening when driving, and the onstar module not working. I was told that they couldn't find a lug nut key to rotate the tires which is a simple $10 key that most tire shops have but ok. Waited a little over 3 hours for the truck to be finished. When driving home I noticed that the windshield wipers and the onstar were still not working so I called the service department. They informed me that I would have to make an appointment for that work after I had already made an appointment. Then I noticed that I still paid for the tire rotation that never happened. Overall I was very disappointed that they didn't put atleast a little effort into the windshield wiper switch because it is a dangerous situation when needed. It is a simple switch replacement. I have owned many brands of vehicles in my life and I have never seen a service department ran like this one. Update on my review: the number below that they ask you to call to talk about the review is an operator that doesn't know who to connect you to and knows nothing about Google reviews. Extremely bad GM dealership. The service department is very incompetent and it appears that the management is too. Very unprofessional dealership that will never see any vehicle of mine ever again. I had an appointment to drop the vehicle off at 7:00 AM. The service bay doors were not opened until 7:15 AM while the service techs all sat around doing nothing. When I did get in, the service writer could not find any information about the appointment and had to manually enter my information. I hesitantly left the vehicle. I called several times and was told there were no service writers available to take my call, so I asked to speak to a manager and was also told no managers were available. I finally had to go to the dealership to get my vehicle and was told there would be a $150 diagnostic charge, which was never mentioned. Luckily I had my spare key fob and was able to get my vehicle away from there. When I did get into my vehicle, there was a half a cup of coffee sitting in the cup holder. And I would like to get my key fob back that they refused to return. Thank you Chris Artall

My salesman told me to come in for my parking brake error I received less than a month after purchase and to get the ceramic coating I paid for when I bought the vehicle. He said they didn’t take appointments on mondays so show up early. I got there before 7, was told I needed an appointment and to wait in lobby. I waited until 12:30/1 to be told the did an update on my car and I would need to come back for the coating.

I got stranded in Baton Rouge while visiting a terminally ill family when my 21 Sierra stopped running. Towed it to Gerry Lane GMC for repair. I was told while checking in it would likely be Monday before they could look at it. Keep in mind it’s Wednesday afternoon. I explained my situation and that I needed to get back to North Carolina as soon as possible. I was heard and they worked me in and are getting me done today so I can head for home on Friday! I couldn’t be more pleased with their genuine concern for me and for getting my truck fixed. I see why my parents always bought their cars there. Thank you Aubrey for going above and beyond. My highest recommendation for the Gerry Lane service department. Thank you so much!

I cannot say enough good things about Zach who was our salesman for my girlfriend's buick. However, Gerry Lane's service department is absolutely terrible. I brought my truck for the L87 recall and an A/C issue. This was 3 weeks of calling every day requesting updates which were never accurate. They lied about ordering my parts when they told me they did. Their timelines didn't add up. I had to go up there multiple times for an update because they either wouldn't answer or wouldn't call back. There is zero management over service nor are there any service advisors. It was a joke from start to finish dealing with them. Credit to the service techs for completing the work but that's it. I do not recommend bringing your vehicle there and I will not be returning for service or new vehicle needs after this experience. *Edited to add response to Gerry Lane's reply. What manager? You don't have a service manager according to your staff. I called every other day for 3 weeks with multiple requests to speak to a manager only to be told I had to leave a message but I never received a call back. I'm not wasting my time. You have my information in your system if you feel the need to reach out.

Kendrick has been my go-to salesman since 2010, and his customer service is second to none. Even after all these years, he still calls a couple of times each year to check in and see if I need anything. Now that he’s in management, he continues to look out for me by connecting me with excellent sales staff—most recently Stephen, who made my Saturday purchase a smooth and enjoyable experience. Because of Kendrick’s dedication and the outstanding service at Gerry Lane as a whole, I’ve purchased three cars here over the last 15 years. I also think it speaks volumes about the company’s values that Kendrick has been with Gerry Lane for so long. That kind of loyalty and consistency says a lot about how this dealership treats both its employees and its customers. I can honestly say you have a customer for life!

I was able to see a great price on your website and interact with the team without the usual song and dance of other dealers. I drove an hour past other GMC dealerships to work with you. It was a different experience than other dealerships and everybody from the sales person, to the management, to the finance department we’re all excellent and welcoming.

The entire process was smooth and quick. Neek was an amazing salesperson and Trench was also awesome. Misty was also very attentive throughout the process and the financial manager was incredibly nice. They all went above and beyond. Thank you for the astounding experience. Stit, and Keioke were amazing to us. They gave us hope and they made the process as stressless as possible! We came to them feeling a little let down after wasting time at another dealership for them to put us on the back burner cause we didn’t “look” like we could buy a car and nor did our credit. So even when we showed up in our old 1999 ford explorer they still treated us with the utmost respect, kept communication extremely efficient. The process was so easy and simple. Appreciate them not being so impetuous when it comes to customer service as some others do this day, which made us scared about the whole process. Now we have our new truck and we couldn’t be any happier!💕💕💕💕💕

Gerry Lane’s tire warranty is worth the price ONLY because how expensive tires are. The services that comes with the warranty is HORRIBLE. The 1st time I sat all day in the lobby waiting. I was the first here and the last to leave (7:30-3:30). I learned at my 2nd usage that the tires are being picked up from New Orleans and don’t arrive until after 11am. I quickly took advantage of the option to leave only the rim and tire (allowing vehicle usage and avoiding the lobby wait). My tire has been at Gerry Lane since Thursday 3/17. It is Wednesday 3/23. I was told the tire was delivered late Thursday and would be available to be installed whenever I came. I called at opening Saturday, and no one could give any info about my transaction. I am here now, after being contacted 2xs for installation and the tire isn’t even on the rim. I am now asking to be given the tire so I can pay someone else to install it as I have to travel and will have no spare. Still waiting, with no explanations, solutions, or apologies! Now all I want is my rim and tire. ***After a wait, my tire was put on the rim and loaded inside my vehicle. I then had to take my tire to Southeast Tire Company to have is put on my vehicle. A service “covered” by the warranty at the CONVENIENCE OF Gerry Lane. I am very disappointed with the level of service I received, especially with all of the good reviews I have read
