This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
In Baton Rouge, LA, recent reviews of O'Reilly Auto Parts are overwhelmingly positive, scoring 93/100. Customers highlight professional, friendly staff who go above and beyond—installing batteries, bulbs, and wipers, diagnosing issues, and offering clear advice. Waits are usually short and parts are easy to find; inventory is strong (even specialty items), though one review noted a needed part wasn’t in-store but was sourced nearby. Some note lower prices. Complaints are few: occasional inconsistent help and a rude tipping comment. Overall: exceptional service and short waits.
What clients say about O'Reilly Auto Parts in Baton Rouge (LA)
I've been to this O'Reilly for years and I always have a good experience! Over the phone and in-person, the employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and never patronizing towards me because of my gender and age (as opposed to their orange rival....). Special shout-out to Dagoberto for helping me with rear view mirrors! He was a lot of fun, y ¡yo podría practicar un poco de español con él! Muchas gracias por tu ayuda, and see you all next time.
Could not come here any quicker to say how nice and helpful everyone was. The girl in the tool department (Idk her name) helped my dad find the right tool. Dillon was super great as well. He was super helpful, knowledgeable, and really accommodating while we were figuring everything out. We really appreciated the help. Thanks again!
I had called to ask a few questions and Marcus answered the phone he was very nice helpful and quick with his job and he made sure to let me know all brands prices and answered all my questions
These folks go above and beyond with superb customer service. They spend extra time, attention, and work diligently to find a solution. This is an exceptional auto parts store.
I literally just left there about 30 mins ago. As far as I know girls rule the world!!! I walked in and was greeted and I asked GABBY if I asked her some questions about cars if she could help and she said she knows a little and took me as a challenge! My brake lights weren’t working and she instructed me on how to check all my fuses and walked me through what each one did, then she checked my bulbs and that was were the problem was. She got me squared away and changed my bulbs for me!!! I want yall’s company to know that she and the manager lady showed excellent customer care and I’m grateful for her today!!! Thank you SO much Gabby on Staring lane in BR.
The guys are really helpful and knowledgeable…they go out in the rain to install wiper blades …I told them I can do it later…they are really exceptional

I needed a new car battery. Ms. Quinn was very helpful and took the time to replace my battery. I appreciated her kindness and explaining everything to me.
Have gone to this store twice at various hours on different days. The guy working the front counter was there both times. He made sure I found everything I was looking for and offered to help if I needed it. Overall super polite, I believe the dude deserves a raise, because out of all the O’Reillys I’ve been to this one takes the cake. 10/10 Stay Blessed.
Excellent shop with knowledgeable staff. I had to get a specially lug wrench for the tires on my foreign car, and the staff was friendly and helped find exactly the right size. Highly recommended if you need any specialty parts.
The associate was available and eager to help me find the part I needed but, unfortunately, did not have it there. He did however locate one at the new Perkins road location. They are, otherwise, well-stocked. Associates are usually friendly and eager to help.
Peter at the Staring Lane location helped me for a MINIMUM of 15 minutes of time helping me figure out my headlight situation and some spark plug issues. He’s very kind and knowledgeable. I’m very thankful for his help today.
Fast friendly service and great staff . I went to get an air filter for my car and they were very quick to find my part and had it in stock ! Thank again
I went here to get some spark plugs for my vehicle and this guy named Malik help me he was wonderful he never left my side until it was done and he was very respectful which for me says a lot because the rest of them there wasn't so helpful the last time I went I was hoping to see him a lot more often but I did not see him the last time I went recently I hope the next time I go he's there to help me it makes me enjoy shopping for my car part
Had a battery exchange and the guy made a comment about tipping him for his time . Since when am I supposed to “tip” the guy that puts the battery in my car ??! If u were a waiter I wouldn’t tip you with that rude service you gave me! Who hires at this location ? Its a joke .
The employees at this location couldn't help answer my questions, they would not even go out if their way to help me call another O'Reilly for a specific break pad I was looking for. NOT VERY HELPFUL AT ALL!! The one on Plank Road in North Baton Rouge is a great location.
