After going to two different stores that after I called claimed to have this tube I needed this location was the one to finally actually have it. My cashier Alexis was so helpful and even recommended an air freshener. If I lived closer this would be my go to store.
Fine enough of a location, usually have what I need. Like most anywhere, service fluctuates, everyone’s got their good and bad days. There’s a handful of workers on the floor that actually seem to know what they are doing. That are actually knowledgeable beyond what is normally asked of their coworkers like knowing how to will call, first call. I’m impressed at how well some of them know all the ins & outs of the job.
The only thing I wish ALL auto stores would do is give the customer a seat! Like no matter the part store, it’s more of a rarity that you’re ever able to get in and get out. If they struggle to find what you’re looking for in the back. Which half the time its a struggle, guaranteed you’ll be there for up to an hour. That’s not including the time you may of already spent waiting for someone to wrap up the transaction to be the next in line. Going to the parts store can often feel like going to the DMV, or a doctor’s office. It’s a waiting game. This comment isn’t just for O’Reillys or exclusive to this location. Someone could change the game up a little though. Get some seats going yo. I get tired of standing there, surely Im not alone.
Counter person had no idea of what bolts hold up the hub bearings, it's usually 4 bolts on a Dodge Dart, left there with my own guess being a person that's worked in their field, and management at Advance Auto, Napa, and Car Quest, need to have the more seasoned workers on the counter.The time before that I went in for a Manifold part on a jeep, and I had it feeling it was a Dorman part, they said they didn't carry it, went to Auto zone, I recommended that they look in the Dorman section, and boom! There it was, specifically a Manifold Runner Valve 08 jeep patriot 2.4 Engine, This location missed out on a $160 sale, imagine how many other customers have looked for this same part, or similar Dorman parts that were sitting right there, the Greenwell springs rd location missed this sale as well. But they do have more experienced workers on Greenwell springs rd.
Work has an account there, service is always fast, get what need. Don't mind helping their customers. Greet you as soon as you open the door. Great service!
Terrible customer service. Waited in line (3 people in front if me). Finally my turn, asked if they sell a vacuum hose and he replied yes, but i will have to gontobthe back of the store to get it cut. Then began to wait on other customers. So, I left and will never stop there again!!!!!
Amazing store. Would be better if they would have just 1 single lane to checkout instead of 6 people to answer stupid questions that people could google. I use this store once a week and it takes 30 minutes to leave because 20 people are waiting to ask stupid questions and no one can just checkout because there is NO DEDICATED LANES to people who have an IQ above 20
Dad was given false information at this location. Despite being sent there by the worker at the other location. Luckily....the worker at the other location fixed the problem. More training for workers on things like their actual job should be implemented.
The lines were crazy long and crazy slow but this place was the only place that had my part. I wish I could remember the guy's name that helped me bc he was really nice.
I do a lot of my own wrenching and am definitely no professional. The folks at O'Reilly's are always helpful and patient to make sure I get what I need, and they seem to have a better stock room than other part stores. They never make me feel goofy which I very much appreciate.
Some locations have knowledge staff. But alot of them have staff menebers that couldn't make it as a real mechanic and ended up selling parts. Why would I want a no-good mechanic help me look for parts. 50% of the time they can never find the part I need and always sell .e multiple parts but different sizes and I am told just return what you don't need.
I always have good customer service their they're knowledgeable and if they they don't know they going to work with you to find out did they tell you something's going to BN on a certain day that's today that it's in I would rather drive in 35 minutes from my house to this location didn't you go anywhere else just about
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will help you with whatever problem you have or can point you in the right direction. Main HUB so this location will most likely have that "Hard to find" part that other locations doesnt
The 2 employees at the location on Florida and I think one was a manager were not wearing masks and I know for a fact they're supposed to! However, very friendly and helpful! :)

Picked up an order for my dad that he had placed (& paid for) with a different O'Reilly location; had a little hiccup with parts guy needing more info that I, in fact, didn't need. In the end, after calling the store my dad placed the order from, they got it resolved for us. 2 other workers were great with my 9yr old daughter who bought a few hot wheels cars. They were extremely nice and helpful, they went above and beyond a customer service level, they were on a personal level with us and I took away a positive vibe after we left, despite the confusion before. I'd given 5 stars if there was a smoother transaction picking up that part.
This is the hub store for the baton rouge and surrounding area. The crew working has been around for quite a while. A little better knowledge of automotive than the competitors stores in the local area. Prices are good and have better electrical parts than auto zone. If they dont have the part they cam get it and sometimes faster than amazon.
This store is well staffed with knowledgeable employees. They are very fast, friendly, and had everything I needed in stock unlike Auto Zone who had nothing. Keep up the good work.
Poor service at the store on Tom Dr in Baton Rouge La.. It took over 3 hours to deliver brake shoes to the machanic shop. After calling 4 times and talking to three different people . Leroy got an attitude and accused me of keep calling him when I asked his name the third time I called. He put me on the phone with another employee that told me the paper work did not print, and that the delivery driver was walking out the door .A little over an hour the parts came. O'Reilly 's lost a customer!
