I stopped into Neil Buys - Nevada Coin Mart last week. I had a big bag of jewelry - mostly costume - that had been gathered from many sources over the years. I figured… What the heck… let’s see if it’s worth anything. I was greeted by a gentleman at the front door who said there were two people ahead of me. While waiting, I looked at a lot of the display cases that had cool old and rare coins for sale. I was directed to booth #5 and greeted by Neil himself! He took the time to look through everything while explaining the process. I respected the expertise and I appreciated his patience. I walked out smiling because I had been treated with respect and kindness at every turn. Even if you don’t know what something is worth, it’s definitely worth the trip. Neil has surrounded himself with knowledgeable and helpful people. I look forward to the next time!!

Luis is a great man. My wife and two young children stopped in and he helped us find 4 wonderful pieces of silver. He is knowledgeable, patient, and great towards our two sons. Thanks again Luis.

I Do Not recommend!!! I'm a professional, he completely lied to me about refinery fees, and lowballed me. Offered me 60% of melt value, on top of that verbally harassed me like a narcissist would. Bad bad business, very disrespectful and unprofessional. I don't tolerate abuse, or dishonesty. Good energy and truth is what everyone needs. Not to mention, his excuse was he didn't want them and then he tried to tell me what to do. I don't tolerate narcissist people or dishonesty. Thank you

Dec 7 at 5:50pm I guess I got a (decent) deal for my coins (sort of)..... But the whole staff was very rude. I'm sitting here in front of my car at 5:55pm writing this review because i wanted to buy some coins but felt very unwanted here. Seems like the employees hate their job or just wanted me out. Either way I feel bummed out.... Edit: I changed my review from 1 ?, to 3 ? for the kind message. Maybe im wrong about the 1 ? review, but I really like this place and I understand business. I just felt a bit humiliated that night and I still appreciate you guys.

Neil and his team are consummate professionals. Came in a busy time but Neil made it worth while for the wait. Definitely a destination for rare and unique coinage. Special shout-out to Oliver for the help and the security guys for the conversation.

sent in a photo old jewelry 10 minutes they later came back with an offer. the offer was highest, went there thinking they would low ball me. NOPE Neil said offer is good went to the window they cut me a check. very nice people would use them again

Kept getting these ads from Neilbuys and how they buy foreign coins. I had a lot of coins and bills from some 50-60 years ago. Looking up some, there was value to them. Took my collection to them today, and was offered $10…. Because I had little silver. They aren’t looking at coins for value of dates, etc… but how much is it worth melted down. Why don’t they just say that? I heard someone in the very next booth get offered $5, and he was shocked. He had the value higher. Guess what, I found another dealer and got $125 for the same collection. I wasn’t wrong, there was value in my collection.

I had one of the worst experiences ever at this gold and silver coin shop. The staff were unbelievably rude and unprofessional from the moment I walked in. Instead of greeting or offering help, they acted like I was bothering them just by being there. Their tone was harsh, their attitude was disrespectful, and they made me feel completely unwelcome. It was clear they have no interest in treating customers with basic respect or kindness. The way they talk to people is unacceptable -- cold, dismissive, and judgmental. It honestly felt like they think they're doing you a favor by even talking to you. I left feeling humiliated and disappointed. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for fair treatment, honesty, or even simple politeness, this is definitely not the place to go. They seriously need to rethink how they treat people -- no one deserves to be spoken to or looked down on like that. It's honestly disappointing to see how this business responds to criticism instead of taking responsibility for their behavior. Your reply proves my point perfectly -- rather than showing any professionalism or empathy, you chose to make excuses and try to discredit the customers who had a bad experience. Yes, I was there. I saw how rude and disrespectful your employee was -- rolling eyes, raising their voice, and acting as if we were a problem simply for not speaking perfect English. There was absolutely no reason to treat anyone that way. Instead of apologizing or trying to understand, you've doubled down with denial and blame. It's not "racism" to acknowledge when someone is treated unfairly based on language or appearance -- it's reality. You can keep trying to twist the story, but anyone who reads both reviews will see exactly how unprofessional and defensive you are. Businesses that care about their customers don't respond like this. I stand by my words: this place is rude, unwelcoming, judgmental, and has zero respect for the people who walk through their doors. I truly hope others think twice before trusting a business that treats people this way.

The was my first experience with selling my old jewelry and silver coins found during some spring cleaning. An extremely professional clerk at booth #2 was quick to greet me and start processing my items. The service was quick, the information received was clear and concise, and the price i got for my items was very fair. Neil runs a world class business here.

TOP NOTCH establishment. These guys really went the extra mile to look through all my coins, all my stamps and were transparent, honest and fair from start to finish. Crazy as it sounds, I even changed my mind on a couple of things that they purchased from me, and I went back to buy it back from them and Neil and his staff told me absolutely not, "it's not about the money. Went into this place because of advertisement and recommendation. As far as the store is concerned it seemed put together from the outside but when you walk in the door the mode changes. It's normal to have security at the front. The security at this door ask you what you want. Ok I would like to speak with a jeweler because of the advertisement. From that point the security started directing me as far as what's on sale and what's not. I said Ok but can I speak to and actually jeweler. Another guy came from around the corner and asked what I needed. I told him I needed 2 types of service the he said ohhhh Ok then directed me to window 5. Now when I went to window 5 I asked about silver bars, diamonds and scrap silver if they had it. First thing out his mouth was we don't have diamonds. I said Ok what about the rest of the items. He said what items with a finishing attitude. I repeated myself i needed silver bars, he then took a call and forgot he was talking to me. After the call I said hey u forgot about me? Then he said oooohhhh I'm sorry. But lurking behind the corner was a face that was nowhere close to customer service. Come to findbout he was the owner. Now I see where all the non service attitudes derive from. This is jewelry store #3 in Las Vegas, I will never send you to someone that doesn't EARN your business. With that said I give this store and management team a 1. If I could ho lower i would. Buy somewhere else guys, as for me I'm buying my 30 ounces of silver else where. By for now

Great experience bidding on these silver pre-64 90% coins from Nevada Coin Mart, I recieved them quickly and we'll packaged. What a great place to pickup some metal, and various other collectibles! Ask to see their generic silver bin as there’s some unique finds in there. My first visit, there was a small mixup that I didn’t see until I got home. Neil responded with an immediate promise to make it right, followed through without question, and even threw me a little discount to boot. I’ll be back for sure!

Came in with some jewelry and coins. Got sent to the window. Since there wasn't anyone there yet I walked a couple feet away just for a guy to get all annoyed that he had to wait on a customer for 5 extra seconds. He barely glanced at the stuff, weighed out some of it and offered a low price. Then called over another worker for him to take half the second the other guy did and offer some beyond low price in a, I'm wasting my time coming up to this window kind of way. Look, I get the fact those guys probably know what they are looking at in those two seconds. (Maybe) BUT, when you throw out those types of vibes towards someone, it doesn't make them want to stay to possibly buy something. So if you come in to just buy something, good for you. If you sell your stuff at a price more than any other place will offer you, that's great. Just know that the quality of their customer service skills are not. ***Edited to add a response back to the comment left by Neil (the owner) that I'm not afraid to leave up.*** I never mentioned that I was waiting forever there. You missed the whole point of the review. The fact that you had to go off on me because you are upset at what I wrote just shows how right I am in letting everyone know the kind of customer service that your store offers. I did miss the no photos sign, so because I don't want to be a "jerk off", I'll go ahead and erase the one photo that is from the inside. Calling the police wouldn't be necessary considering I don't have any interest in going back. I won't be editing again since I don't feel like I have to get down to the level you went to.
