I trusted this shop to diagnose and fix an issue with my car. Not only did they completely misdiagnose the problem, but they also overcharged me for “repairs” that did absolutely nothing. After paying a ridiculous amount which was around $2K, my car had the same issues, and when I brought it back to their attention, they acted clueless and dismissive, offering no real solution unless I paid even more.
It was clear they either had no idea what they were doing and scammed me. They wasted my time, my money, and put my car at risk by not properly addressing the real issue.
When I took the car to a real professional afterward, the new mechanic clearly explained that none of the issues this shop claimed to have fixed were even the real problems. In fact, the actual necessary repairs were so serious that the real cost to fix everything properly would be around $5,000
Which shows just how badly this first shop either lied.
If you value your vehicle and don’t want to be ripped off by amateurs pretending to be professionals, DO NOT bring your car here. Go somewhere that actually knows what they’re doing and respects their customers.

Do not go here if your not Hispanic or a man.. I went for an oil change feb 2025 .. The man who used to be the manager at the corner store next-door, but now works there scammed me.. I was told everything was done one month later my car shut off because of no oil. .. so they never actually did the oil change. They charged me and slapped a sticker in my window.. scam artists DO NOT TRUST this place
We received coupons in the mail this week and they included ones from here along with a competitor's coupons. The fact that they are family owned and operated and offered some great coupons as well as close to home meant we should try them out. Julian greeted me upon entering the store and I had coupon in hand which he noticed and made comment about me having received. I waited for him to finish with the customer in front of me and explained the reason I was there. He was very helpful and the wait time for the oil change service was under an hour. Very pleasant experience all the way around and couldn't beat the price. My aunt and I will definitely be back. Thank u Julian for a great job, yur an asset to the business there!
I used to have a hummer a few years back. Oh was it a headache. My mom would always try to help. She called me a week straight saying I have this coupon “free oil change”. I blew her off for a whole month. Then my car broke down. I went and got the voucher. It was expired lol.
We drove to CJs auto repair & gave Them the voucher. They still honored it. And they fixed my hummer… for years they treated me and my dad like family. From 2020- 2024 I brought a total of 4 cars to Cj. Never charged a storage fee. I Even pulled up to cjs on a bad day & he gave me an oil change, I was crying my eyes out because my mom had just passed. He thanked me for being a long time customer. I’ve told so many friends about cj because honestly finding a honest reliable mechanic is HARD.
My review today is based solely on our last experience at Cjs auto. We delt with a new guy by the name of Julius. He was cold and not understanding. The car we took was previously diagnosed by my mother and laws auto shop. But me and my dad only trust cjs so we came to get another diagnostics. The first day Julius called and said the starter and the battery needs to be replaced first. So my husband went and got a new battery. We were never informed they would charge $50 just to drop the battery in. They said they could not do diagnostic without starter so we told Julius all the codes that came up from the other mechanic. He finally said “ oh yeah the car is pretty messed up”. Which was fine I expected that. I told them just lock it & my dad will be in to pay in the morning. That’s when I was informed I would be charged for leaving the car over night & the diagnostics Price has now changed 99 to $150. I asked to speak to Cj I was told he would call back. Instead Julius called back and said he would store the car but we had to be up there within two hours of opening or they would charge us.
When me and my dad arrived the next morning to pay. I asked why he was charging us $50 to place the battery in, why not pull the car out and let my husband do it. Julius laughed and said “I know it’s a 5 min job but that how we do it”. He charged us $200 for essentially nothing. We paid and had the car towed back home & when we got there the battery was NOT even hooked up. I cried a bit because It hit me, times are changing
Company - client relationship just don’t hold the same weight as it used too.

I’m really can’t believe that CJs Auto would not do the work on a vehicle brought in to their business, I and my Sons have been taking our vehicles there with no problems.
I’ve had bad experiences with other places, but this business has giving us great service in the past years

Literally 0 stars. Only rating it 1 star due to me not being able to post the review if I didn’t. So these people are scammers. Long story short …. In march 2024 I came here to get my brakes and rotors changed. Cj told me that I had brought in the wrong size rotors. I went and got the “correct” rotors from the auto store across the way. After everything was done here I am 7 months later writing this comment pissed off because I just had to get my brakes and rotors changed today oct 7th 2024. This means they never actually gave me any service, but literally just took my money and my brand new parts. Furious is an understatement. This place needs to be sued!
If you're looking for a place to take your car this is it. Joel was super fair with me after I walked from a place up the road. He was able to find my problem and it wasn't as huge as the other mechanic said. Definitely worth the second opinion. I think I found my new spot.
Went to get a sensor fixed went back due to the same problem and after having it supposedly fixed a second time 2 days later the same problem occurred. I was also told an oil change was done but again a few days after my last time there the oil change due light went on. Spent 3 thousand dollars for nothing.
Bad service, 100% will overcharge you, got angry and told me I could just take it someplace else when I told him I'd like to talk to somebody about a second opinion before he ordered the parts. And now somehow miraculously my truck is missing apart that doesn't come anymore, after the back end was taken apart by this shop to have the brakes checked out now all the pieces aren't there. Coincidence? I think not. Stay away from the shop and I'll cost. Dishonest

Let's see where do start I took my car to cj's for a simple break job asked first of all if he worked on RANGE ROVERS and the answer was yes so I aloud him to do the work only to have my car jacked up for a full year on trying to let him resolve the problem with my rear caliper not functioning correctly. So when he tried to correct the problem it only resolved in him putting a used part on my vehicle that didn't even last for 6months. So this is my review when it comes to cj's automotive. Never take your auto to someone that don't specialize or certified to fix or repair your vehicle without the proper credentials.
I love CJ's auto repair shop. When I bought my used car in 2019, sooo many things wrong with my car, I trusted CJ's workers, when they did a diagnosed, they fixed everything, and I mean everything. Never ever had any problems since. It purrr's like a brand new Scion XB. I go no other place in Las Vegas. Professional they all are & very courteous as well, they explain everything to the detail. 👍👍👍👍👍
HORRIBLE!!! U WIIL REGRET TAKING IT HERE AND HAVE YOUR MONEY TAKEN. THEY JUST CHANGED LOCATIONS. I SPENT $2400 JUST TO STILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUES. Had to take my car back several times because wasn't fixed correctly. Till after the 4th time they refunded me $1100 because they're professional mechanics couldn't figure it out. Their mechanics don't
know what there doing. What about the other $1300 I still have the same issues. Also the chrome on my door handle was stolen of my door handle at their shop. They said they dont know what happened and would replace it. Called them every week for over a month to see if they got the part in. Everytime an excuse and when I went to go up there to speak in person. They closed the shop without telling anybody. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND YOUR MONEY AND DON'T GO HERE. OR ELSE YOU'LL REGRET IT
We arrived at 4:30ish and he serviced the car in exactly 1 hour. When I went to pay my card was blocked and he patiently waited for my husband to return with a working credit card. A good mechanic and a good person. Support his business.
Had some seals replaced, $50 in parts, $520 in labor. Took 3 days. Won't know the quality of their work for a few days. Guy is friendly, appears very knowledgeable. Place is clean and well lit.
Do not take your car to this place!!! They do not have the experience or equipment to provide any level of service. I took my vehicle in because it had trouble starting and they replaced my starter which I paid $350 for and the car still had the same problems. I got stranded at work and they said I had to pay a tow to take my car back and when it got it there they did not know what was wrong with the car and so could not fix it.. my father gave them the suggestion to check the ignition and so they replaced it and that wasn't even the problem. It shows how inexperienced they are when they are replacing parts based in the average Joe's suggestion rather than diagnosing it themselves since they are supposed to be the pros. I took my car to Royalty Auto on Jones and Smoke Ranch and they diagnosed it , found the problem, and fixed it completely. Meanwhile CJs did not want to take any accountability for the bad work and service they did and making me pay for an issue they could not fix. I paid nearly $1000 between CJs and the guys who actually fixed my car for a job that was only to be $480 max.
Clean and not busy so you get taken care of right away. I had an oil change. In 15 minutes I was back on the road. They had free coffee on a Keurig machine and Netflix so you could watch a movie if your visit took longer.
