Went there today and had a great experience. We met a guy from Cobb County bringing items into the store. He informed us that Bargain Hunt went bankrupt and they are now gone. He said it is going to be a similar store but called it a "Bin Store" and they should be open in a couple months.
Excellent thrift store although it has been renamed to my sister's closets the store was full with a good 75 percent of the store taking over with women's, ladies, girls clothing, the rest filled with men's clothing and odds and ends. The prices were responsible and every item of clothing was the same price for example all ants were priced at (x) price the same went for shirts, shoes dresses et. The staff was pleasant, friendly and they all had a pleasant disispasition. about themselves

It is very dark in there, so take a flashlight with you. We'll see if the owner's paint the ceiling white to lighten it. So far they haven't (11/15/24). Stop here before you go to the grocery store or any other store.
Linda was really nice she was telling me how to do the Survey to get two dollars off my purchase next time I come in we go in every Saturday to the store is set up very well and neat and cleaner I love it

terrible experience with this establishment. I was accused of stealing, offered to stay for the cops to watch the footage, offered to empty my bag and the owner was still extremely rude and told me to leave the store and never come back. I have not and would not ever steal. They stereotyped me and my boyfriend and would not allow me to clear my name which I was willing to do. Will never be back recommended staying away if you’d like to be accused of theft.
I had to wait in line a very long time to get checked out. There was only one cashier that was very good at her job. Standing behind her was five employees doing nothing nothing at all!! They are lucky that I was not area manager because if I had walked in saw them standing around they would have went out the door!!! If they were on break then they need to leave that area with all customers can not see them do NOTHING!! Very sad!!! The line was back up with at least ten people waiting to get checked out!
I was passing through town and stopped here. Much bigger than the one in my town. Clean and organized as well. It gets 4 stars because they had the Halloween stuff next to the Christmas stuff and it's only October. Didn't see any fall/Thanksgiving stuff.
I enjoyed the store more when you had to search for your bargin. they had a good selection of Halloween costumes for under $10. They had several large bins that were almost empty. with a do not dive sign. there would be no way for you to actually reach anything in the bottom of these bins with out falling partially in. There was a lot of merchandise that was not marked.
Great Deals !! A lot of Bargain Hunts merchandise is low proced high quality home goods, apparel, sporting goods, kids toys, and electronics. they have a pretty good mix of items and a lot of them are brand new with the original price tag on it. They definitely know what they're doing and have a well understanding of what type of product their customers are looking for.
One of my absolute favorite stores of all time… With the ridiculous increase in prices since 2019 Bargin Hunt is a relatively undiscovered gem. The employees are fantastic, selection is sensationally robust, quality absolutely unmatched at the price and overall experience, excellent! 👏🏼 Highly recommended.
They actually had some good deals this time. Haven't been there in 2 years. Breakfast cereals for $1.50 a box. Velveeta cheese and Mac shells for $.500 3 pack. Other items caught my eye but I didn't buy. Had some cool solar lights pretty cheap. A nice 10 x 10 canopy for 60 dollars. Remolded the store since I'd been there. Lots of deals from clothing to automotive. It's worth a look. Even bird seed.
I love this place! Always find some crazy great deal. I always go looking for something small I need and walk out spending 80-100$ because they have so much great stuff! This week for $77 I bought 3 pairs of shoes, a light, a little decorative house, 6 bags of dog treats, and sheets for a king size bed plus a fish pump lol
I love this bargain hunt just because of the staff and how well stocked it is. Their was some awesome finds in there for dirt cheap prices. The staff is always friendly and more than happy to help you. Great place and we always go back.
Ever since my spouse has shown me this establishment, it has become the first stop on any search for much needed supplies. Bargain Hut has really improved their stock over the past couple of weeks. If you are looking for Christmas Items, this is the place to start. They have everything. Furniture, Clothing, Food Items, Electronics, Toys, Christmas Decorations and so much more. Seperate Restrooms & Dressing Areas are available. This has become a very wonderful place to look or shop.
Fun place to browse and see what deals you can find. I've been looking for a cheap comforter for awhile now and all the other usual discount places had them for more than I wanted to pay. I lucked out by visiting when there was a great sale and got a nice one for 50% off. Very happy I decided to give Bargain Hunt a try.
I hadn't been in this store for awhile. The last time I was in there it was loaded with all different types of merchandise. The place had the " picked over " look to it. The Manager & a checkout Associate were super friendly & helpful though. I got a great deal on a Master cordless circular saw though. As I had questions about the brand the Manager looked it up & showed me the stores its normally sold at. $69.00 per tax.
I found some really good bargains here; comforter I love for $18/queen/full, car seat covers 2 for $20. And if you sign up for their emails they'll send you a coupon for 30% off one item. If you ask, they'll let you use it that same day, or at least they did me. And you still get the one in email. However, everything was not a bargain! Their shoes seemed, for the most part, overpriced to me and I looked at a simple lamp shade that they wanted $20 for. I think I'll try Goodwill for a shade!
This place is kind of a hodgepodge to look through, BUT there are some huge discounts if you have the time to look. They have some products that aren't much of a savings but majority of the stock is easily 25% off from other stores selling the exact same items. Staff are very nice and hardworking. Store is clean.
Great finds if you have time to look around. Kind of a treasure hunt type of warehouse that you can literally run into just about anything from furniture, electronics, clothes, household, toys, etc. The store manager Bryan was super kind and helpful. Prices are killer. There is a great selection of kids shoes that they outgrow fast. Have fun digging around!
this store is awesome i come shop with Danelle she is amazing with customer service. The apparel department is always clean and nice and neat over there since. Since the new manager Danelle has came in it you can tell there is a change in the store for the better .Lets keep up the good work.
I always enjoy shopping here. I find lots of deals for my pets and home and office. Today I had exceptional service and assistance from Danielle. I Live an hour away but I always make time to shop here when I’m in town.
I purchased a black double door new Frigidaire refrigerator for $500 and in the past I purchased a shredder for my office at 90% off. It’s important to check expiration dates. This store is amazing!
This place used to be awesome. Now it's a junk pile with less than friendly staff. Whoever is doing the pricing at the DC is off their medication. There is no real rhyme or reason to their pricing anymore. Ever since they took away the date tags it's not even a "bargain hunt" anymore. With 16 years of management under my belt I simply don't see this place making it if they continue down the same path. Get back to the basics and get back to district manager walks every week and hold these people accountable. Nasty
The organization of items has gotten better. It's a dingy store but if you are prepared to really look, you can find some amazing deals. You never know what you will find.I like to go there when I am in the Gainesville area.
The one thing they could really use is more dressing rooms. You have to wait forever to try stuff on.
This place is amazing! I am a big fan of Target's home decor and furniture, but NOT a fan of paying the price they charge for them. At Bargain Hunt, they carry Target's overstock, so I can get the decor I love at a fraction of the cost!
I have bought everything from chairs, bedding, wall art, candles, shower curtains, and more at this location, they are ALWAYS well stocked!
This place is definitely hit or miss with what you'll find. Sometimes, they've got great stuff. Other times it can be a wash. It's worth the trip if you're in the area. A lot of their stock is stuff that Target has clearanced out so if you've been wanting something but didn't want to pay full price, this is definitely worth stopping by. Be prepared to have time to go through everything. Nothing is in great order. It also seems like a dingy location but that doesn't bother me if I find a great deal.
When I first came across Bargain Hunt I was in heaven. Since then, I have made many visits and spent quite a bit of money. One thing is pretty typical, everything I ever bought at any of the stores didn't work. Given that I am a 3 hour drive from the nearest and get in the vicinity at unpredictable intervals, this got to be a real problem. They can be nasty about returning stuff. They pick an unreasonably high starting price (of course because they expect it to sell when the price comes down). I have seen many things that even at 90% off, still wouldn't be a good deal (like a box of tea for $20). The last time I was at this Bargain Hunt, I found a sink that seemed to be a good price. I confirmed with an employee, who took the tag up to the register and I rearranged my car and we started loading while my mother paid for the item. At the register, the clerk said the price was wrong and even though we had confirmed with an employee and had already started loading, she said the tag was wrong and that it would probably be $1000 more, but she didn't know because the tag was wrong. Whaaaa? I kind of thought marking something as one price and then saying it was another once you got it, was illegal. This also wasn't like $.50. It was a basin 90% off $1000. The $1000 was ridiculous, but $100 seemed like a good deal. Anyway, it makes me sad, but I just don't shop at Bargain hunt anymore.
