This is a warning to anyone that is searching for truck repair…. Diesel tech services is a very suspect and dangerous repair service that feeds on unknowing customers and are out to scam you out of your hard earned money! I recently used them based on an expedited need for one of my service trucks. The service manager told me before I left his shop the truck was road worthy and ready to go… the truck didn’t last 10 miles before over heating and this was after the water pump and thermostat were replaced needlessly as the engine oil cooler was registering 250f
I ended up stranded on the road and had to take my truck to another repair shop to diagnose it properly.
Diesel tech just threw parts at my truck they said they test drove it but that had to be another lie told to me. Some real info on the theft by deception from this shop!
1) 720.00 to replace 1 injector ( let that sink in ) and the injector was supplied
2) 255.00 to replace a thermostat ( two bolts and a clamp a ten minute job tops)
3) 630.00 to replace a water pump
I didn’t even see the final cost until going to pick the truck and could not let them hold it hostage so I paid the bill in cash and drove it less than 10 miles before it overheated
The battery cables and hoses were also found to be loose after further inspection
I would not use or recommend this shop unless you like spending money twice!!
They wasted a whole day from our time to tell us they don't have the parts and they will close soon even though they promised that we will be done the same day. Avoid them if you don't want to spend whole week for changing brakes.
Ive been coming to Diesel Tech for a couple years now to get regular inspections and checks and every time i come in i am floored by the genuinely friendly hospitality the staff has. Every time i get something checked/fixed, i have no complaints, Javier is a great guy and truly seems willing to help you out in a pinch. Good prices, very knowledgeable and willing to help anywhere possible. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
I've been getting oil services and fuel filter replacements done here for a couple of years. I've also had to have some more in depth (costly) repairs done occasionally. Javier and his crew have always been complete professionals. Especially, and most importantly, when something might not have been done 100% correctly. No one is perfect but this outfit has always made things 100% right in my experiences with them.
Scammers here there’s probably some good text knowledgeable here nice people but they are scammers looking for an extra buck Truck didn’t pass deal 10 inspection because of wiper blades DOt light and he said something about a torque bar torque bar last I scene has nothing to do with inspection this is my second time dealing with them told them I had an injector he bought the injector never called me back and put the new injector from Cummings in there and I had one they don’t communicate or call you have to call them several times to check on your truck they will say they will call you back and don’t left both doors open over night on my Trk as well
I wouldn’t get an oil change here, cause I’m sure they’ll mess that up also. They rebuilt my engine 4 times and never got it working properly. Would burn oil and had no power. Not to mention it took 2 years dealing with them, just a huge headache stay away.
They tried to rebuild the engine in my truck 4 times. It still has the same issue. I paid well over 50K and still have a Peterbilt that is burning coolant. I do not recommend this shop.
Had a GMC 2500 pre-buy inspection done here. Made an appointment, got in and out in less than an hour and found a couple things I had the dealer address before buying the truck. Quick, thorough and reasonable price.
Mechanics who knows what they are doing in a good amount of time....Sam,javior,Victor are just a few people name I could remember...my truck broke down at the bottom of their driveway to the shop and javior was nice enough to halt the oncoming traffic for me to drive the truck to their shop...they fixed the truck that I brought in the shop in a good rapid pace..
Great group of guys. Very knowledgeable and willing to help where possible. Plenty of space for truck and trailer. The owner is a cool dude and will do his best to get you back rolling fast.
The turbo on my truck went out while I was out of state. It was a holiday week and everyone I called could not even look at it till the end of the week. These guys were shorthanded but still squeezed me in to troubleshoot it and get the part the following morning. Installed and rolling by noon. I could not be happier with the service. Thanks Javier
Javier is terrific. He put a remanufactured diesel engine in our truck for a good price, with a 12 month warranty. He did the work in a reasonable time and the work is exceptional. We won't take our diesel vehicles anywhere else.
Javier and his guys did great work at a reasonable price and actually Fixed my truck on the 1st try. took a little longer than I expected but I'm confident in the repairs and would recommend them to anybody with a diesel truck I'm glad to have finally found a good shop to work on my diesel after looking around for Years.
I took truck to them they fixed it and it broke down a few days later.. I called him up not knowing what he would say, He said bring truck in or he'll send a wrecker it... The thing is he didn't hesitate about it and fixed it right away with no charge..... Good people right here!!!!
Javier and his crew of technicians are the best I've run across in years of owning diesel trucks; not only awesome on the diagnostic side but very fair with their pricing.
