I originally decided to purchase a used trailer and have it recondition. I got in touch with Lance in service with Cottrell. He was amazing not only did he take my calls return my call promptly. I decided that that I was buying someone else’s problem and to buy a new one. It was not at all lance’s department but he frequently checked with me to see how progress was going and also circled back to see if I liked the product, and he’s in Service,. Not at all his department, but just genuinely cares! absolute rockstar!!!
Cottrell’s service department is second to none. They prioritize same day service. No need to baby sit repairs to make sure the shop understands working on car haulers (like other random local shops. lol) Definitely worth the drive, even coming from Texas.
Working alongside Ariel Almendarez from the parts team is always super simple. He is quick to response with pricing and availability and always willing to put in the extra work to ensure I'm getting the correct items for my customers.
1/15/26 appointment 8am checked in with Lance 8:30am walk around/inspection/paperwork completed. 8:45am backed in shop for hydraulic and wiring repairs. Victor and Alejandro put one man on hydraulic repair and 2 men on the wiring repairs. Lance came to us twice with wiring issues, the estimate and updated timeline on repair. Alejandro came to us after finding another issue with the air ride on tractor. Lance followed with written estimate and updated timeline for that repair. The whole experience was like a NASCAR pit stop, no surprises no unauthorized repairs, on budget and on time. Tracy was a wonderful hostess. Break room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom/shower was clean. Thank you Lance you have a professional team and you made us feel like family.
Victor in the service department knows his job well and is extremely knowledgeable about the equipment Cottrell has to offer. He was able to find the historical information on my equipment and provide me with much detail he had available. Cottrell has a quality product and great service packages to maintain your equipment the right way.
Had a king pin replaced. They had it done in a day. Excellent service from Lance. Very satisfied. Everyone else was a week out. Cottrell has never failed to deliver fast service.
Blocked me in, I was stuck for 10-15 mins along with another person. Why they feel entitled to block people for so long is crazy. You don’t own the road just because you are dropping off a car… find another spot…

Fantastic service department . I always call when I have questions about my equipment and each time I do they’re patient . Very knowledgeable and expedient when giving feedback and recommendations.
I like to order parts with Cottrell. BUT please fix recording which plays while people are on hold to the parts department. Before it was just calming music, now each minute a girl repeats “Thank you for calling ….” please make this voice to repeat this sentences at lest no often then each 5 minutes. Because what you have right now is annoying. It forces me to interrupt a phone call and call another supplier who does not have such annoying recording while on hold.

We have been working with Cottrell Trailers now for a few months as we got a new account with a car hauler recently. We have had to reach out to them quite bit in regards to parts and technical help. They have been very helpful and have delivered on everything that we needed. I have specifically been working with Ariel Almendarez, and he has been a great help. He has ensured we have everything we need, and if there are any mistakes or any miscommunications he has addressed them promptly. So far I am very happy with the service I have received from Ariel and I will continue to reach out to him for all my Cottrell car hauler needs.
At my job, Penske truck leasing, we frequently use Cottrell as a vendor. I recently needed some invoices that were missing for our monthly purchasing audit and Jose Cruz was not only prompt but he was also able to provide me the invoice I required with little information on my end. It was a tremendous help and that certainly made doing my job efficient and easy.
Service manager was lance burton he did an amazing job and got me in and out quickly and the mechanic did an amazing job on my truck. The company is very pleased.

I have been dealing with Cottrell for about 4 years. they are amazing to deal with for service. I normally deal with Tracy Janes she is amazing, and very good and complete with what she does, and prompt to get back to me with issues, we do a lot of work at our shop in ct. but when we have trucks down there, they are my go to. and the speed of getting them in and out is amazing
Cottrell is the only place I will take my truck to for a medium/major repair. Hourly rate is less than most shops and the work is first rate. I have been working with all the people over there for the last 20+ years. I’ve always been treated fairly and will continue to buy and work with Cottrell products. Thank you all so much.

I visited cottrell recently to pickup a new truck and was blown away by a few things. For starters, the facility itself is state of the art and mind blowing. Secondly, everyone I met seemed happy and easy to talk/work with. From security to people on the production floor, everyone was awesome. That being said, huge shout out to Stephanie and Jessica for all your help and patience getting my truck ready and answering all my questions, you two rock! This was a place I’ve always wanted to see and was definitely not disappointed, thank you everyone at Cottrell.

Ive never been here. But im writing this because i see alot of comments of people saying workmanship is poor. If you want perfection out of a man made product. You need to ask god if he has a stinger factory in heaven. Im honored to be in a 2020 80 footer from here. The person who designed this equipment was in a right frame of mind that morning. Yes some quick spins dont catch after a couple years. But if youve work any other stinger ever invinted after some use they become faulty. Put your finger down on the lock and dont whine about it. Jajaja. Loved the 7510 and the highrail from any year and any model. I appreciate the innovation that has came from Cottrell for my profession and hope to see what the future brings to us that eat, breath, and sleep this thing stinger life.
Enjoy picking up here and delivering these nice rigs. Great do drive old rigs in and see the finished refurbished product. Watch out for the railroad crossing 🚸 tracks in and out of the property, swing wide. Great people to work with.
