I recently purchased a car from Juan on Friday. During the sale, he assured me the vehicle was mechanically sound and had no issues. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
By Sunday, the check engine light came on. After having the vehicle inspected, I was told it needs a fuel pump and the engine is beginning to lock up. The tire pressure was also improperly set. Additionally, there appeared to be slippery oil on the brake components, which caused my foot to slip when pressing the brakes — a serious safety concern.
Juan was very nice and professional in his demeanor, but I do not feel that I was properly informed about the vehicle’s true condition prior to purchase. This situation has been very disappointing and stressful so soon after buying the car.
I strongly recommend that future buyers get an independent inspection before purchasing.
I purchased a vehicle from Juan on February 27, 2026 after he assured me that the car was mechanically sound and had no major issues. Within just a couple of days, serious problems started happening.
The check engine light came on, the car began shaking while driving, and it is now clear the vehicle has mechanical issues that were not disclosed. It appears the check engine light had been turned off prior to the sale to hide the problem.
I have attempted multiple times to contact Juan for help or resolution. He initially said he would speak to his manager, but he has since stopped responding to my calls and messages.
Selling a vehicle while misrepresenting its mechanical condition and disabling warning lights is deceptive and unacceptable. I am requesting that this situation be addressed immediately. Buyers deserve honesty and transparency when making a major purchase like a vehicle.

Which a dealer fee of $ 700 they tried !!! They wanted to then giveme a $500 discount off of the total with the price they wanted asking price listed then the tax tag and titleI’ve never paid in my entire life one ever nowhere Trust me !!!
. Been shopping days for MARKET PLACE and talking to other places and private owners on there vehicle. Shop "" Market Place"" trust me you’ll find your vehicle for less and better condition in the 1st place. A real dealer won’t charge you their market asking price and then dealer fee and then tax or tags. And then after showing you their vehicle and it has imperfections dents on doors, dirty inside interior ceiling, roof, and curb rims and not wanting to remove or discount a vehicle telling you that they’re not making any money on the vehicle, but meanwhile I didn’t give you a discount! Doesn’t sound like a place I would want to take a chance at buying from !! THEN THEY WANTED TO TELL ME THAT THEY’RE NOT MAKING ANY MONEY ON THE SALE. INTERESTING RIGHT DOES IT SOUND LIKE A PLACE I WANNA PURCHASE FROM FROM THE BEGINNING !! Think before you purchase quickly !!!
Please save yourself the time and money by avoiding this place at all cost constant attitude problems when asking for help about cars, poor communication cars leaking fluid less than 48 hours of buying title being sent to random addresses after having a clear conversation with sellers just avoid at all cost

0 stars I would. Check the BBB for their business rating & complaints! Complete scam. I just baught a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee from them in February & now im in a burden with no car due to mechanical issues with the engine that’s ongoing with past complaints also!! Jay seems all sweet & cool when doing the purchasing but he just as sorry also. Money hungry scammers! Dont let them get you out your money!!! They so FULL OF IT.
My other cars motor blow and we were in a real bind trying to get another one due to me working and also taking my father in law back and forth to chemo and radiation. El Camino was the last place we had stopped at for the day and Jay was there from the start to help us. From the bringing he walked us through a couple of different options for our down payment and then worked his hardest to get me into the one that fits our family. Everyone there was nice. Will definitely sent people that way.

Very good people to deal with! I have been looking at several of these Cadillac’s all over Georgia and South Carolina couldn’t find the right one. I finally seen Jerónimo’s Facebook post about this one. One day later went to look at it and made a really smooth cash deal for it. He helped me every way he could and got me out of there in no time! If I could give zero stars, I would. My nephew purchased a 2015 Nissan Sentra from El Camino Auto Sales Gainesville in January 2025, trusting the word of their sales rep, Geronimo. He assured us that the car was in great condition, stating that their mechanic had thoroughly checked everything and that it even passed emissions. We took his word for it—big mistake!
Two weeks later, the check engine light came on. We immediately took it to a trusted mechanic (Tire Plus), and guess what? The transmission was failing! A MAJOR issue that any honest dealer would have disclosed. Geronimo straight-up LIED. This man and this dealership are nothing but scammers who prey on hardworking people. They will take your money, while knowingly selling faulty, unsafe vehicles.
If you are considering purchasing from them, CHECK THEIR REVIEWS FIRST! Their unethical practices speak for themselves. We will be filing a formal complaint with The Georgia Attorney General Consumer Protection Division to hold them accountable.
And to El Camino Auto Sales: You will NOT get away with using "SOLD AS IS" as a cover-up for your fraudulent business practices. The authorities WILL investigate how you operate!

I had a fantastic experience at El Camino Auto Sales. They had exactly what I was looking for at a very reasonable price. Jeronimo was outstanding! The vehicle was not as advertised. The top was torn and did not open properly, they stated the vehicle was not in an accident and it was evident that it was, the paint chips were so old there was rust in the places where it had peeled to the metal, it needed new brakes, and the tires were dry rotted. They claimed to have a tire shop but didn’t have the tires already changed out. I offered a lower price, that was more than the value of the KBB and NADA, but less than their asking price, and all they carried ti cut off were the taxes. Find somewhere else to get a vehicle because this place is not it.

You either love them or you hate them. So my trip started when I saw the post on FB. The car was listed $3500. It’s a Honda Civic.
I went down in 30 mins and checked out the car. It was clean and looked great for being 2005 model. I can say this bc I’ve been hunting for cars the past month and this place had the cleanest rides and not much cosmetic damage.
They disclosed info I needed to purchase the ride. Do your research so you can ask the appropriate questions.
Yes you can tell some of their staff is new at this but also they are bilingual for the most part but some things may get lost in translation so feel free to double ask the finance guy.
Well you come here be sure to know the price on marketplace is a little different bc this is a dealership.. you need to realize you will pay extra fees but they are negotiable.
We test drove it but ya can’t really go wrong with a majority of Hondas. The car needed new tires and an alignment but overall it was a great deal. I stayed within my budget and a car in an hour.
I financed this vehicle April 22, 2021, for work purpose only. A week after driving it, it started to shake uncontrollably and the engine light came on. It turned off TWICE! And also hesitated at 50mph! I visited 3 auto repair shops. They all told me the vehicle required a new engine! The truck looked good from the outside but they definitely fixed it up enough to get it off the lot. I called El Camino with my concerns. I was told to visit their personal mechanic and they’d cover any repairs needed done to the vehicle. When I called a week later, I was told they didn’t have a mechanic and I’d have to call the bank instead. Who the hell did you send me to?! I was so fed up, I refused to pay anymore for a “lemon”, so the bank forced the dealership to purchase the vehicle back. Good riddance! I will never finance from another “buy here, pay here” dealership again!
