That one guy Pedro Ortega helped me so much! Got the part I needed without having to search up on the computer, he put the parts in my truck and got me back on the road!
They used to be reasonably priced and the go-to place for driveshaft work. They also resurface flywheels. They have recently raised pricing quite a bit. It was $40 to cut a flywheel and now it’s $125. And this was on a small flat flywheel. Driveshaft work pricing has more than tripled I’m told. We won’t be giving these guys any further business. It is a shame, we used to send quite a bit of work their way.
Guys at my shop talked highly of this shop to get a driveshaft built. Took my driveshaft there so they could get measurements to order the part so I can get it built. Been two months and still no answer for the price of the part, let alone even getting my drive shaft built. Checked in with them once a week about it and all I get is I’ll call you back. Looking for somewhere else to get my drive shaft built.
I used to love buying my truck parts from this store I have a small fleet so this was always my go to for truck parts until I purchased 4 batteries from here. Had my mechanic install them and a few days later when I came back to the truck it wouldn’t start. Called roadside
And he came out diagnosed it as a battery problem and said he would need to charge them. After trying to charge them for about an hour and a half he came back and asked where did I get the batteries I told him ATP
In new castle. He then replied you need to take them back because there not charging
And there brand new he also told me one of the battery post had melted. So I called associated truck parts and told them while I was with the mechanic. They then asked to speak to the mechanic which to my surprised knew exactly who they were he was friends with them so they said bring them back
When I arrived with the batteries they were extremely rude and not happy to process return smh they also didn’t refund me for the battery with the melted post even though all the batteries were just purchased and under warranty. After they handed me the refund for only 3 batteries he then said by the way you can’t shop here anymore. It hurt because I’ve bought thousands of dollars worth of parts here over the years and because I was sold some batteries that were defective and wanted a refund this was the result.
