This was the most horrible drive I had in me 11 years living on the dfw, the place is next to the train station, is the most getto place I have seen, looks like a different country. The guy with the cash shows up at 10:00 am instead of 9:00 like it says on their website not worth whatever price
Drove from Denton on a saturday only to find out they aren't smart enough to update their online hours of operation. Pretty sad in my opinion. Thanks for wasting my time J&E scrap!
Ive never felt more taking advantage of than J&E scrap metal i had #1 copper that i weighed at home that was 10 pounds an dude tells me i have 2 pounds ten i had a lot of different stuff an i made $7 funky dollars at of all the stuff i had my mom when there an got more money than me for 1 bag of cans wow when does cans become higher than copper or aluminum will never go bac to J&E again the fist time an last please believe me going else where an if u were smart u would to!!!!!!!!!!!100
Always fair, clean, and friendly. I drive across the metroplex, from Dallas, just to deal with them exclusively. Update: I'll be taking my business elsewhere. The help wrote my ticket for #2 copper for .45¢! Encore in Garland doesn't do that. This is good #12 & #10 AWG, not scrappy pieces of cat 4! Left me a little disappointed. The drive to Garland is closer than the drive to north Ft. Worth.
I have been taking my aluminum cans here for years. They have a neatly kept establishment, and the people are friendly and courteous. Good prices, too.
It's the only place I will come to for cashing in my cans. The guys that work here are very hard workers and friendly, even the guy at the window. Very rare that I have to wait 20 minutes cuz most of the time it's less than 5 minutes and I'm done. I highly recommend this place for cans, I don't know about the other parts but another great thing about this place is that they take care of walk ins or bicycling ins...God bless this place and the people there! Thanks for existing!
Great place been going here for years. The best prices so far. If they are closed I will take my scraps back home and return when they are open. Rarely ever will I go somewhere else.
I've been doing business with J&E for years. The employees as well as the owners are professional and courteous. They operate a very clean work environment and have an efficient system that gets you in and out of there quickly. I appreciate the morale that is displayed by every one of J&E's crew. Thanks guys. Been coming to J & E for a couple years now. Great staff and competitive prices. The employees are quick and efficient while still managing to be cordial. Not to mention one of the few places left that will take your scrap batteries. Best place in Fort Worth for your scrapping needs.
I took a load of alu cans and some misc metal in last week . The employees were polite, friendly and very helpfull in sorting the misc metal. The grounds were clean enough to walk barefoot so no worry about a flat tire. No one beats their prices. This is the only place to sell alu cans. Thank you J & E.
All around good experience. I felt that my copper was shiny bright and they did not but other than that they were very helpful and nice to be around. Thanks guys for not being anything like the assh*les across the street.
