Edd's Towing was great! We had a disabled car on the side of the road on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend. The truck was there in under 30 minutes and the driver was careful to get the vehicle on and off the truck without causing any further damage. The pricing was competitive as well. Thanks to Edds Towing.

Poor communication, attitudes and negativity answers the phone. Sad how people let others run the business part of their operation and I bet they don’t have a clue. The wait time to pick up a vehicle is ridiculous. (Someone is otw, no they were not) they haven’t showed up. Left a few of us sitting outside. I left, I’ll come back smh. Be prepared to wait and please don’t be mad at the dispatchers they know no better for how they act/talk and deal with customer service. Very poor customer service.

Got charged 175 to tow my car a total of 1.3 miles. I was originally quoted a lower price. Just use someone else. I understand a hook charge but that was just way overpriced for the mileage. I should have shopped around. Will not make that mistake again.

I scheduled a pickup for Sunday at 2pm on Tuesday. At 2pm I had not heard from Edd’s. I call and they gave me the run around saying it would be another 4 hours. This company it trash and should not be used.

I’m not sure if it’s a training issue or the fact that people are so inconsistent! My truck was towed here due to a wreck and I have items in my car that are needed for work. I was informed that I could come on Saturday as long as I called ahead. Here it is Saturday and I’m now being told that I can only come during the hours of 11AM-4PM Mon- Fri to get “Personal items” from my vehicle. The girl on the phone did not even care that my job is being affected due to a lie. She claimed to be the supervisor, if so I would hate the see the operations of their business.

I called these guys when my semi truck broke down, 5 miles away from their yard. They said the time starts when our driver call you, which he did almost immediately after my call. He was supposed to be 5 miles away, so I hoped he'd show up soon. But he got there an HOUR later, which means I had to pay an extra $300 for sitting for that hour on the side of the road and wait. At the end, he admitted to me that he gets 25% bonus pay from every call he takes. So, probably, that's why I paid $300 more, sitting on the side and waiting for an hour for him to show up, 5 miles away from me, even though their dispatcher told me he's ready to start driving to meet you. Anyway, I would never, ever call these guys again, nor recommend their services.

Wish there was a zero star or negative option!! Just drove over an hour to pick up our vehicle that was left at Buc-ee’s for less than 24 hours due to an emergency.. The price we keep getting quoted has jumped from $370 to 700+ dollars. Drove over here with zero expectations of a good experience and was met with that. Sign on the gate says cars are released 24 hours a day with a one hour notice but that could not be further from the truth. Lies!!!! Spoke with Elizabeth who said the supervisor already went home at four which he is allowed to do because today is a holiday. I said how am I supposed to get my car and she replied you don’t. Was instructed to Come back tomorrow in the morning or midday since afternoons and evenings are too busy to release the vehicle. So now I get to get another ride to come all the way over an hour away from my home to pick up a car that was left at a gas station in a public parking lot for less than 24 hours. This place is absolutely awful and did not quote me my right price until they figured out that I knew my own rights per the state of Texas for exactly how much was supposed to be charged daily ($22.85) and how much is supposed to be charged for initial pick up with the tow ($272). Steer clear!!! You have been warned!!!!! NOW QUOTED BY ELIZABETH $273 plus ONE day of storage… we will see tomorrow I guess. What can you do when it’s behind a locked gate?!

Can't remember rhe guys name who helped us yesterday when we were broke down in our MH on I 30 east. Thank you so much. You were so nice, got us hooked up so fast and towed. You were the only one out of 4 wreckers that did not cancel us. We had been out there over 4 hrs. I hope your son had a great BD today. Thank you again and God Bless. Would highly recomend. Called for a tow and was told they would be here in an hour as they had a drop off in my neighborhood. I have called 3 times and keep being told he is in route. It’s been 3 hours and he still isn’t here. Other places have 30min guarantees. Don’t waste time waiting for nothing.

Fast, thorough and professional while maintaining trademark Texan humanity. They kept in contact with me during the incident - checking up frequently - and for that, I am saving them to my phone contacts.

Bought car from the auction from them the car got towed by titlemax who has a lein on the car, now Im out of more than $1,000 and edds towing saying they are not responsible for this situation then why was I sold a car that still had a lein on it did I just get scammed thats cause thats what I think

I have needed my car towed a couple of times recently, and they came when I called. One of those tows was pretty late in the evening, but they responded quickly and got my car to the automotive shop so they could begin work early the next day! Won't call anyone else!!

Lost the keys to the Mercedes which was parked in the garage. I contacted my normal towing company and they had to call me back on multiple occasions at the end of which they did not have available before 5:00 pm. That was the time the dealership closed on a Saturday. So I contacted Edd’s towing and my first encounter with the person on the was displeasing to say the least( I guess he was a dispatcher). However, I was desperate and he could send someone out. I received a call from Walter and he took down all of my information including some major details that I was trying to let the first guy know before they arrived. Like being in the garage, no keys, the wheels were no straight, and the car was at a slight angle. Oh yeah and he was not even given the correct address.However Walter was amazing! Not only did he work through all of those issues, He beat me to the dealership. He handled being at the dealership with the perfect amount of patience . All in all he more than made up for everything within this organization. They are my new towing company

Nearly got in a car accident with one of their vehicles. Their driver tried to use a lane that was ending to cut around my vehicle. He was irate and flipped me off several times and all I had done to make him so angry was drive straight in the lane I was already occupying. His behavior was extremely dangerous, rude, and unprofessional all while driving a company vehicle.

Awesome service. My car died on the side of the road but was towed before I could get to it. They ended up with it and were very quick to help me find and get my car out. Thank you so much for helping me on a day that could have gone south fast.

My SUV threw its belts and became disabled at night in a horrible location north of DFW Airport on 114 West. I was stuck on the shoulder right where another highway merges onto 114. I immediately called Edd's Towing, there's no other tow service to count on. Period. Grapevine Police pulled behind me with lights on for safety because the location was so precarious and the Officer called another wrecker service the city uses at the same time. The "other service" arrived at the same time and the "other guys" were FIRED for unprofessional service and improper equipment. (City needs to change vendors!!) Walter, with Edd's Towing, was careful and professional in loading my SUV on a flatbed (proper equipment for AWD), taking care to ensure I was safely inside the cab of the wrecker, and Walter was vigilant of traffic at all times. With the SUV loaded, off we headed to the shop where Edd's has access to drop your vehicle safely in the gated area. Walter was kind enough to offer me a ride home but my wife was already at the shop. Proper equipment, safe handling of your vehicle, and quick arrival when called. Add Edd's Towing to your contacts. I've got AAA but can't wait an hour or two for a tow so I call Edd's Towing for safe and superior service. Strongly recommend.

Came out to car not starting. Called and answered promptly. Tow truck driver Walter showed up in timely manner. He offered to see if he could jump start the car to at least make getting it hooked up to tow easier. Got the car started and since I was only going a short distance to have it looked at I was able to drive the car myself. Walter was excellent and this was first time I have had to use a towing service and he made me feel calm and confident about the process. Walter was not only professional but had a great attitude as well.

Fine, but I kept getting charges sent to me twice after I'd signed my towed car to them about accrued fees. Even though these are resolved, it wasn't a very pleasant experience.

Robert was a lifesaver!! I was in dire need of getting a 62 Thunderbird Convertible I'd just bought, put into my garage (I'd picked it up using a trailer and towed it from Kansas, but couldn't get it in my garage due to not being able to angle the trailer, so had to park it next to the house). I contacted 3 different towing places before Edd's, and either didn't get an answer or was told they'd be able to do it only to text an hour later and say they couldn't. This was on Father's Day I might add. Anyway, Robert was at my house within 30mins of the call to Edd's and was a maestro with the way he was able to get the car on the tow truck (car was very very low, especially in the rear) and get it into the garage. I cannot recommend Edd's Towing enough, and will absolutely be using them in the future anytime the need arises. Thanks again Robert!

Our cargo trailer caught fire on I35. They were very nice and worked with us the entire time. We were there on their lot for two days going through the trailer and they were very nice to use. Highly recommend!

Having to have your car towed is TERRIBLE!! I popped a curb and blew out both passenger side low profile tires. I called no less than 7 towing companies who quoted me 3-5 hours. Then I was told to call Edds from A guy who was out of my service area. So glad I did. They quoted me 1.5 hours at 2:30pm and at 2:45, the driver called me and said he would be at my vehicle by 3:10! I was so thrilled I forgot to ask about pricing. When he got there he went over pricing with me and it was half the price as my other quotes from their competitors. The driver was fast and knowledgeable and I couldn't have been more thrilled especially having to deal with a super frustrating situation. Thank you so much!

My daughter’s car broke down today in the turn lane of a busy street across from her high school. Needless to say she was humiliated and probably a bit scared to be late for class, she was in tears as the cars backed up honking behind her. Edd’s had someone on the way in no time! Rob arrived before the time estimated, jumped out with a smile, and got to work. He had her ride up on his truck and was headed down the road with it in no time. Efficient, friendly service. Chris and his team provided the best customer service experience in the midst of unfortunate circumstance. My son was involved in a wreck earlier today and Edd's Towing Service showed up on the scene and immediately expressed concern for my son and his well being. These actions speaks volume about customer care and satisfaction. A worthy recommendation.

We had a great experience with these guys. We were in an accident with our boat, a lady blew through a red light and smashed our boat and trailer. Wayne arrived and was on a mission, a job that I was like this is going to be interesting, turned into a cake walk for the pro. He had to winch the axles back into place without dumping the boat onto the road. He also had to limp it back to their office with just 2 tires inflated bc the other 2 were damaged during the crash. Great job! Chris at the office was helpful to reclaim our personal belongings before it was shipped to the salvage yard. Thanks guys well done!

Mike Gonsman was wonderful!! So personable and helpful and so knowledgeable!! He knew what he was doing and helped us understand and made what could have been such a stressful and scary process so much better. And Chris in the office was helpful as well. Everyone was so friendly and nice and I cannot stress enough how much I’m going to recommend this place!! Especially Michael Gonsman!!!! He needs a raise!!

I don't know why this name is showing up but the company is Edd's Towing. Until my recent experience with Edd's Towing I thought that all tow companies and tow trucks were the same. They showed me the importance of using a flatbed tow truck instead of the standard boom truck (I sound smart now, but they taught me the correct terms). I didn't know that even in neutral most vehicles can still be damaged in a way that wouldn't even be noticed until it was too late to blame the tow truck operator, if they don't put your car completely on a flatbed. I don't really know if their pricing is the same as everyone else's but it almost should be higher based on the service I received as well as the education they provided so I wouldn't hurt my own car.
