I don't know who is that lady at Unique Roadside LLC talking on the phone with me but When my insurance already said they cover for the tow and if your tow company can’t do it then don’t accept the service and being rude and have aggressive talking and try to charge ridiculous amount money when its covered by our insurance. Please be polite with the customer and that not how a business should be. Thanks
Scammers do not use they come up with numbers that make no sense they will lie to you and threaten to tow your truck . Will not use and i hope this helps someone i learned the hard way should had looked them up on yelp. Take it as a loss but dont get scammed
If I could give zero stars I would. All of the other reviews you read on Yelp etc are accurate.
I was assigned to this company via roadside assistance with my insurance. I was broken down on the side of the road in 100+ heat (with no AC).
When I was assigned to them the app said 45 minutes ETA. I waited an hour, then looked them up and saw their office was only 18 minutes from me so I called them. She answered and I told her what was going on and I didn’t need a tow just a jump, if she could send someone ASAP I was dying in the heat. She said “I will dispatch someone immediately they will be there ASAP” … so I waited another 40 minutes, giving them the benefit of the doubt and when they still hadn’t showed again (1 hour and 40 minutes after they were assigned to me, over an hour over the estimated time) I called her again. This time she said “Yes he is coming to you next, he’s finishing his other job first” so I asked her where he was currently and she said in Waco. (That’s TWO HOURS AWAY from us). This was absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I get if maybe you only have one driver that day (Sunday morning, early) and I get it if he is far away - so then either don’t accept the ticket, or don’t say you will send someone immediately and they will be there ASAP giving me hope when you know it will be 3-4 hours.
I hung up with them, called my insurance company, and they dispatched someone else who was literally to me and helping me within 10 minutes.
This is a terrible company. Avoid them.
After having issues with our check engine light on our Sonata and having a trying experience with roadside assistance through State Farm due to insurance rep not notating that we needed to be transported as well as our car due to being out of town. We were out in the sun for longer than anyone would ever want to be. Danny from Unique Roadside was willing to pick us up and take us to the nearest dealership. He was there within 30 minutes or so. After being in the hot sun waiting, we were so relieved to see him. Note: if you have roadside assistance with your insurance make sure you tell them you need to be transported otherwise your car will be towed but you may not be. We didn’t know that it wasn’t notated on the claim until we talked to the first tow company. They don’t deduce that you need a ride when you call the insurance and tell them we were out of town for an appointment and having car problems. That we needed a tow to the nearest dealership. Despite the use of the word ‘we’’ indicating multiple people, you have to indicate the need for two passengers! When it’s hot, no one’s got time for that! Thank again Danny from Unique in helping us get to where we needed!
Marcelo is a great guy and very helpful. He got me and my wife taken care of when we blew out 2 tires. Definitely would recommend and will use you guys again if we need too
