After calling the number at the gate you will be put in line and have to wait for a door. Once you get a door depending on which door you get or dock you get here is some information. Door one that I had is probably the most difficult. All three backing maneuvers you have to blindside back pretty tight and door one you have to sneak it into the dock so blind side 90 and then 90 HARD on the driver side without hitting any obstacles. There are plenty of obstacles in the way so plan accordingly and be on your A game! Door two I would say is medium difficult it still goes as follows you still have to blind side 90 into the area but you don't have to crank it as hard cuz it is offset and passed door one. And then if you get the dock plate you are going to blind side 90 back and then just jackknife it into the dock plate. You will understand more once you see it in person.. it does take a few hours. Waiting and loading took about 2.5 hours today
The parking is very easy. You just need to back in from the road. Everything is simple. Anyone who says it’s difficult probably bought their driver’s license for a beer—that’s why they can’t do it
There is hardly any space to park a semi. You will be asked to park at the gate which cannot accommodate more than four semis. The yard is shared by so many business and merchandize is all over with very little space to maneuver a semi. It takes long to unload. The semi has to turn within limited spaces left by the merchandize in the area. AP&J Recycling docks are at the end of the facility with very little space for a semi to maneuver. I saw a semi lose a bumper while I was there trying to dock. You will be required to bring a cat scale receipt or else you will be send out with the load to get one. Overall experience is not worth the money, time and effort.
Unloading here is terrible been here waiting to unload for 4 hours now at a dock and they have not started yet, backing to the dock was easy but it is an obstacle course to get to it lol so make sure you know how to back. Lady in the office is nice and helpful, if you're in a hurry don't take these loads it's not worth the money. There is no where to park once you get here except in front of the gate and two trucks is about it and you can't stay on the road strictly enforced.

It's okay. Easy to get into dock 1 as there is only one maneuver to blind side then it is sight side into the docks. Don't know what all the fuss is about. No parking at all, so pull way over in the driveway to leave it open. Haltom Rd is a total joke. Things are small and narrow in TX, not bigger. Going on over 4 hours to load scrap plastic has to be a new record. I've never been to a place so slow for scrap in 16 years of driving. Lady inside you have to call and check in with was nice. Again, don't know why people say she is rude. Perhaps she is matching energy. Overall, could improve loading times.
If you can't blind side park, I urge you to spare yourself some sweats. It will be massive hill to climb. Dock 2 is hidden like a gem. Other than that, 3 hrs to load is somehow reasonable. Just come within your appt time, cuz place has no parking real estate available. Small utility. People were nice and Texas flava. 3 stars for them.
Whoever delivering this place they need to be careful they’re wasting your time. I’ve been here for hours and still they didn’t unload me very bad people here.
Such an unprofessional and unorganized place. Had an appointment at 8 am, got dock at 14:00, unloaded at 15:30. VERY TIGHT TURN TO DOCK. shipping lady on the phone is not friendly. They keep taking their favorite trucks first.. stay away from this place or will be ended up losing day.
Everyone is super nice and helpful. Don’t forget a scale ticket cuz you’ll have leave and get one. Whoever said the back into dock 2 was 30 minutes-1 hr…nah. If you know how to back at all, it’s no problem. I’ll come back, if they offer it to me❤️
Getting into the dock was tight, but not as tight as it had been according to the guy spotting for me. Said they had worked for 2 weeks getting the area widened. Got loaded before appointment time and fairly quickly
This is my first one star review. I was here for 7 hours with waiting, backing, & loading. Backing took me 40 minutes with 2 people helping me. Also had to get scaled twice empty and loaded. Have a safe journey drivers
They have carriers that they work with who get unloaded fast, before others, example, waco brc tracking llc will get unloaded while you are on line I had a driver do 2 trips to waco while Am waiting. Appointment don't mean a thing just come check in they will tell you to wait and unload you on a fast come fast serve basis mostly owner operator wait longest.
8a.m. appointment. Got here on time before my appointment time 3 and a half hrs of sitting. Was supposed to be a straight through delivery be to drop by 4:30p.m. stay away owner operator's your time will be wasted. Not worth the headache.
Wanted me to hold there cheap paid load over the weekend and deliver it for 600. It's companies like this killing the industry.
This place is ok don’t know why everyone on here tripping but some ppl just can’t drive I backed around the u shaped road to the dock boom right in there
Was there 6 hours to get loaded. Very VERY hard to back into dock 2. Even for experienced drivers. Have to back basically around a u shape with not enough space. 30 min to 1 hour is avg time to back into dock.
This company takes the plastic type campaign signs and their metal stands for recycling. They were so helpful and friendly when I took mine out there to drop off. This is such a great service for the Fort Worth area. No more adding old signs to a landfill!
