Cheap and room had damaged furniture. Rusted fixtures and about to checkout not comforting wonder if you will be charged for something you wall into. Thank God I recorder the room shortly after walking in. Here's photos just to make an example.

I walked in the room and walked out..It was clean but it felt very creepy to me.. Management would not refund me but he assured me it was "safe". I would not recommend this motel

They posted this price online than when I showed up they upped the price by almost double. When I mentioned this they got angry with me. And the room was terrible also on top of everything else

I give Americas Best Value Inn five stars not because it is a "5 star hotel" (aka Ritz, Four Seasons) but because it delivers on what it promises: value. I have stayed here annually for conventions downtown which saves me hundreds of dollars each stay (say compared to the Marriott) and offers what I need: a place to sleep, shower, and keep my things an easy 10min drive from downtown. The staff is friendly. I've always found a parking spot in the lot, and I have never had any issues. The room comes with a fridge and microwave so I can also save on restaurants. If you have the correct expectations, I recommend Americas Best Value Inn.

Staff was very rude and very nosy. Even came to check the room as I was showering to see if we supposedly cooked food. I always stay at Americas best value inn in New York and there they always treat me with kindness but here I felt beyond invaded and disrespected by the woman who came to approach our door. On the phone they say you can stay till 12 but in person they told us 11:30 the latest. Usually this hotel is supposed to allow ppl to stay till 11 then 12 is late check out no charge and every hour after that is supposed to be 10$ a hour till 3 then you have to rebook a room. If I could rate this a negative I would. Miserable staff.

The rooms themselves aren't that dirty. Just the owners are very exhausting invasive people. The owner tried to come into my room while my kids were sleeping to see if we cooked. Im blown away by audacity, cant express the level of discomfort. Would never allow my kids in those walls again. Just genuinely save your money, time and sanity.

Very expensive Very BAD if you drive further down road you'll find cheaper and way better no smoking in room we know he said tell her to smoke out by road she smoked by door he came next morning said look look ashes on ground made a big deal very rude couldn't understand him I had to hold sister back I see why his wife hides in the back

First let me start by saying first and last time staying here. Rooms are small and offer less than most competitors in the area. No breakfast at all just questionable coffee. Not to mention the family that must live there. You feel like you’re being watched the whole visit. Don’t smoke in your car because someone will surely walk past your windshield and stare at you. Feels so weird and uninviting. Didn’t even get a chance to get the key out and open the door when someone from the family asked me if I needed help. Weird vibes. Then upon leaving as getting into my car was asked by another family member if I was checking out. Just an unpleasant experience all around. It was so uncomfortable. Huge pothole in entrance. Just didn’t do it for me. I actually almost left in the middle of the night.

This was just what we needed. Our son was playing hoops at spooky nook and we needed a safe quiet clean place to stay. It was just what we needed. The staff was very friendly. The room was extremely clean and it was very comfortable and quiet. We'll definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Great value hotel/motel. Nothing fancy, but it's clean, safe and quiet. It felt like it's new. There's a bus stop literally outside the door. Wifi good; fast and reliable. Staff helpful. Pub/restaurant next door. It overlooks (to the back) a huge green area which is pleasant. And Long's park within walking distance.

Positive: "" Negative: Had to call down to the front desk to get the microwave.That was not in the room and towels.They didn't restock the towels when they came in the next morning to clean the room, also was not aware had to do a $100 deposit as well as payment.

Was visiting my cousin for the weekend and needed a roof over my head for a night. The shower and bedding is not the best, but check in and check out was fast and easy, and wifi worked well. Overall a clean, comfortable experience!

Overall hotel was clean the smell of clean was amazing i booked a king suite I pay and all the. Was told he didnt have the king but he gave me 2 double beds. It would been nice to known that before i was charged . Room we had was ok other than bed booked at king not doubles . Also the bathroom sink was cracked and sharp but they already knew ab it! Saftey hazzard . I left room way recieved they bed liens had stains the tub had mold , and the tub before I CLEANED IT was dirty . The floor need attention with a good scrub wirh the mop Over all it decent stay jusy coukd uese some up dates There NO refunds ! Saw where some rooms had bed bugs ! My room was fine but i was only there for few hours for sleep! So didnt notice! So just kno some rooms may some may not but there no refunds no execptions so be careful! And there a 100$ despoit which is over rated how the rooms are

Absolutely horrible!!! We didn't even stay one night of our stay. Half the stuff in our room didn't work. Flies everywhere. We found bed bugs. Mold on and in the non working fridge. Stains on the mattress that looked like blood. The staff was extremely rude except for the female worker. They are saying they refunded us our money and we have not received one penny of it. I would never recommend this place, not even to my worst enemy.

My spouse and I like to travel side roads through working America. We have stayed at this motel three or four times over the years. Most recent stay was June. It’s a simple basic motel with a low price and no frills—Which is fine with us on these trips. However our stay tonight was not very pleasant. Room was fine as last time. But last my spouse checked in (I was parking) with the younger innkeeper. She was not greeted very nicely. She asked if a room was available—Was told “why else would you think I am here?” She asked if we could have a double—Was told “You’ll get a king room and be happy with it.” The innkeeper also told her that “there is a hundred dollars security deposit for smoking and room damage and she’ll like that too.” Ten thirty the next morning, we were packing up. Phone rings. The same innkeeper was on the line “You will be out by eleven checkout, understand, right! Okay!” I had enough of this routine. I asked about the disrespect to my wife, the security deposit, was cut-off. “IT IS HOTEL POLICY. All hotels charge security deposit. You have NO choice in this policy. I already refund it.” I was upset but firm. I pointed out in 50 years of travel this is the only place that charged a security deposit and this hotel didn’t even do that two months ago. I also pointed out if the purpose is for smoking—how did he know if we wrecked the hotel room? He repeated the same nonsense over and over. I hung up and resumed packing. He called back and started berating my wife to get out of the room by 11am. Loading the car he stood on the sidewalk and glared. In short: Plenty of hotels in the area. You don’t need the scam policies, the angry nonsense, and hostile hassle. Skip this motel and go elsewhere.

Deserves 4 stars for cleanliness alone at this rate. I travel a lot all up down these highways and I use Priceline because it's easy for me while being on the road. My load may not deliver until the next day and Ive arrived early, I'll go to Priceline and look for deal. Well I got this room at a great price and it was cleaner than any room I've ever stayed in for less than 100$ Nice sized very clean bathroom with a tub shower combo, clean linens and all. Service was good. Deposit was a little high for having paid for the room already but other that. It's a great room at a great price.

I was skeptical of this motel but upon arrival to the room I was relieved to see the beds, floors and bathroom were clean . The price to stay here is unbeatable. They charged for the extra person but that's typical (we are a family of 3 adults). The location is perfect for all our needs. There isn't coffee in the rooms but you can grab a cup of coffee at the front desk until 9:45am. There is a fridge and microwave in the room.

My overall experience of the place is 4 stars. Compared to where I stayed yesterday, as I make this post, it is day and night. (Never ever book Rodeway in Lancaster) The walls are somewhat thin, as other reviews have said. So, depending on other people next door, you could probably hear their conversations. Luckily, I was the only one on the rear side of this hotel, so I wasn't hearing the street side of the cars passing by. The only noise I really had was the lawn mowers cutting the fields in the back. There is a Bar and Grill next door, but I skipped out. Was unsure if I could order a meal to bring to the hotel. But this location is decent, rooms are clean, bathrooms are clean, beds will melt you in for a great sleep. I'm in Lancaster again, and I'm low on finances again, for 80$... this would/will be the go-to for the night!

As far as cheap hotels go, this is a good one. My room was pretty clean - not spotless, but clean enough. And it did not smell like cigarettes or weed, which is often a problem in budget lodging. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the TV had a large selection of channels. There are two small issues, though: 1. The walls are very thin. Fortunately my neighbors were quiet, but when they did talk I could hear them loud and clear. 2. The heater cycles on and off every minute, and it’s pretty loud. I used a white noise app on my phone to mask it while I slept which seemed to work okay. But when I was awake it was annoying. I would definitely stay here again, though. Obviously it’s no Marriott but it does its job as just a good clean place to sleep.

Room was pretty comfortable. Furniture was nice, especially the big desk. Bathroom was very clean. Quiet surrounding area of motel but proximity to a bar, a few restaurants and 2 convenience stores. If I visit again however I will bring my own sheets as the bleach smell on those in room just a bit too strong for me

We stayed at this inn on the first night of a road trip, after 12+ hours of driving. We were looking for a budget-friendly place to stay, but it was difficult since we were under 21. I called in the afternoon and the woman at the front desk said she would be able to check us in since we were over 18. I booked a single king bed because it said it slept three. We got there about 5 hours after I called, and shift had changed. The man behind the counter was gruff and short. He said that we only booked for one person, the king bed only slept two, and to sleep a third we'd have to pay $15 plus tax in addition to the room fee we'd already paid. We paid it because we'd been driving all day and wanted to sleep. He asked if we wanted a king or a double and we said king, and he shook his head and muttered agreement, but then later said "I'm going to go ahead and give you the double". Then he ran the id and shook his head again, asking if my sister was under 21. She said yes and I said I had called earlier and they said that they would check us in. He shook his head *again* and said that we had to be over 21. I said that if that was the case, we'd need a refund for the room and he said that he'd give us the room. I'm not sure if he was always planning to give us the room and just felt like scolding us a little or if the idea of refunding us was just too ghastly. The room itself was far better than I expected. It was basic but the bathroom was clean, the sheets were clean, there weren't any bugs, and we all slept well. It was definitely a breath of fresh air after reading hundreds of reviews for different motels talking about bugs and bodily fluids everywhere. All things considered, it's a decent place if you just need a place to sleep, but if you're trying to balance affordability vs amenities you might as well stay in a Best Western or La Quinta (or even an Avid or Tru if you plan ahead and book for the cheaper days) because you're going to end up paying as much or nearly as much and you'll get free breakfast at those places which can easily run you more than you might save.

I am a middle aged businessman who typically stays at Courtyards and Hampton Inns, so that is my standard. I do not stay at motels. However, I needed a room on a Fall holiday weekend and there literally were no rooms anywhere within 40 miles of Lancaster (unless you wanted to pay over $300 for an average chain hotel). My only other options appearing on the major search websites were 2 motels including this one. I was expecting a dirty room with old damaged furniture and even brought a sleeping bag with me expecting to sleep on top of the bed. ||Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Not a speck of dirt. This motel had recently been remodeled and the room was better than some Hamptons/Courtyards I've stayed in. Brand new bathroom, new furniture, laminate floating floors, two tone painted walls, new tv/fridge/microwave and good wifi. I may actually stay here again if I need to return to the area and can't get into a business class hotel. Definitely one of those rare finds. ||Housekeeping even cleaned my room w/o asking (it was a 2 night stay).||I gave it 4 stars because the beds were doubles not queens and were very flimsy.

Customer service is terrible. I do not smoke and am being accused of smoking in a room, and that did not happen. The people staying with me were respectful and did not smoke in the room. If the staff looked at the security cameras they would see people going outside to smoke. There was absolutely no damage or smoke odor in the room. They were looking for a reason to keep the security deposit and were rude from the beginning. The man was acting like it was a hassle that I had reward points at check in and gave me an attitude right away.

They have 24 hour window check in and check out service so that was great. The room was very clean and so was the linen also a plus. My issue was that they used a Ring doorbell camera(you have to ring that or call the number listed in the window) to know when to come to you. Also when I arrived it was very empty but I was given a room at the back of the hotel.

The place was ok. One of the fresh towels had a dirt stain when I received it. The bed's springs gave up after many years of use. I stayed for two nights and they charged a $100 security deposit in cash in case anything was broken damaged or stolen. Nothing was broken damaged or stolen and they took $20 from the security deposit. I am never coming back to this place again. If you need a place close to the town center and are on a budget, you can probably do better.

Building exterior is older, but the rooms are newly renovated and very nice; simple but nice. Service was very quick and friendly. Rooms were very clean. It's also a short drive from most locations in town. If you just need a place to crash during a short trip to Lancaster, you really can't beat the price.
