Easy in and out. I truly appreciate the young lady who helped me several times; she always has a bright and cheerful outlook, and always treats the customer with a lot of respect. That makes me so happy! Thanks so much for everything!
At 12:50 on Monday, October 13, 2025, dropped off used motor oil, old gas, a lead acid battery, old lithium power tool batteries, and a fire extinguisher. The two young women who helped moved quickly, were professional, and very pleasant! Easy process and great experience.

This place is getting ridiculous today we were told we had concrete pieces that were to big to dump yet we were able to pick the peices up by hand alone with no one else helping carry to load so make it make sense that they think they are to big and they always have a nasty attitude if they keep doing stuff like that people are gonna let their stuff pile up they need to stop smh well take our business elsewhere they are not the only place to dump and actually the other places are cheaper than them. Then they say you must tarp yet ppl pull in with stuff hanging out all over then they made us all buy vests before to now not enforce it 😒
Always a wait when you go here. They need to figure out a faster process! I've also gotten 3 flat tires here because they don't clean the floor properly!!
In and out in less than 2 minutes, dropped off 3 TV's for free! Since it was dark, I couldn't quite read the directional signage, but one of the truck drivers came to my rescue. Excellent service!
My husband and I took a load of tree branches and other miscellaneous yard waste to Frey farm landfill yesterday. When we first got there my husband was required to purchase a $10 fluorescent vest. Not a big deal but it would’ve been nice to know this requirement ahead of time he could’ve brought his own. Then after being asked if there was dirt or stone in the trailer to which he answered yes there MIGHT be we were informed it would be considered construction waste and were informed where to go to dump it. The attendant never mentioned there was a significant price difference to dump this material rather than the standard $35 per ton. After winding our way through the facility and dumping we went to the exit to pay. The attendant held out his hand for my husbands credit card without even informing him of the total which was 138 dollars! My husband was obviously very surprised and not very happy considering we could’ve run this to Eshbach and gotten rid of this for $10. We will not be returning to lcswma and will look elsewhere for a place to get rid of our trash and yard waste!
We cancelled in Dec. 2022 and are still getting bills from them. My husband tried calling them several times (after waiting a very long time for someone to pick up phone) He said we are not paying the bill because we haven't been using their service since Dec. The receptionist said she couldn't help him. He then asked to speak to a manager or someone who could. She said there wasn't anyone who could help him....REALLY? And every time we get a bill it's a little more because we are charged a late fee....REALLY?? We have Good's Disposal now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quit sending us bills or call us and explain WHY.
My account was always enrolled for auto-pay but thank you for not picking up my trash.
I worked things out with Customer Service and very happy now. Just beware the website is the best way to check on billing and even pickup time
This was my first time going there. Employees are extremely helpful. Even though a sign stated you must unload your own vehicle, an employee brought a cart up to my car and unloaded the television.
They deserve zero stars!! When you can actually get through to someone in customer service they are so rude including anyone in management, they over charge for services they do not render!! My trash has been sitting at the curb going on 3 weeks and still they have not come to pick it up always making up excuses as to why that I have now reached to my township to help and as soon as they collect my trash I am kicking this company to the curb!! Do not request services from them they take your money, and that is the only thing they do on time!! Horrid horrid experience!!
Wanted to charge me 20 extra dollars cause my little load wasn't tarped, nope, that makes no sense at all, if all loads must be tarped fine, turn people away, not charge 20 dollars and it's ok,, when you go in a store it's no shirt no shoe's no service period, not pay me 20 dollars extra and come on in!!! And why do I gotta jump through hoops to pay to get rid of trash, it's trash just like this business!!!!
Great place to get rid of waste. I’m. A bit irritated that they charged me an extra $20 because my old 4x4s weren’t tarped. Pretty sure I’m not going to lose pieces off of old treated boards. Especially since I had 4 straps holding them down. It’s funny Home Depot doesn’t demand I have a tarp when I buy new boards from them.
Its great to take bulk items you need to get ride of. They tell you were to park empty or truck and leave. You might have to wait your turn but definitely a great option for non scrap items
It was great !! They have more rides than Disney World. I'd suggest wearing long pants if you're going to go down the big slide though, the burlap bag you sit in is very itchy. The petting zoo was a real treat, but everyone was afraid of the Komodo Dragon, there's just no way to train those things. All in all though, I'd say a great family style buffet and lube shop !!
Well-maintained facilities and reasonable prices to dump trash. They take electronics, paint, florescent bulbs, and batteries for free. It's nice that we have this resource close by. The employees are all extremely nice, helpful and have great attitudes!
Use this landfill 25 times a year. Best prices around. If u think the prices are high then go to york landfill. This landfill is nice, respectful, clean and not a thing wrong with it. If you are not legal they will turn u away. They have regulations too. Keep up the good work guys
Straight forward. Easy to navigate for being there for the first time. Large signs tell you where to go...just pay attention. Its all paved because its a transfer station so you don't need a truck or 4x4. Dropped off a 4x8 trailer load of household trash including a refrigerator, motor oil, and paint. Trash was $35/ton. Paint and oil are free but go to the hazardous waste building. Super easy.
Jordan was an absolute godsend for my mom and I while we were cleaning out our attic of 23 years - he was extremely kind, helpful, and understanding and the process would not have gone nearly as smoothly without him. He’s the kind of employee that be praised and that makes for loyal and happy customers. Thanks Jordan, you’re the best!
I agree with other reviews. This place is a joke! Weigh master is rude and very unhelpful! Just drove 30 min to dump a load and got turned away because sticker just expired on trailer. I use this place often at least once a month. Prices are high and people that work here have bad attitudes. For how much I pay to dump small residential loads they want entirely way too much then turning away a loyal customer with a bad attitude?! If there was another place to go I’d gladly drive further. Is there any other place to dump in Harrisburg area?!!!
Awesome that I can dump so much for a very fair price. Only complaint I have is how it could be very confusing for a first timer and the workers are extremely unhelpful. In the actual dump site it is not very clear how things work and it seemed like the worker was trying to make me feel stupid. I have worked in this kind of environment before and know how it is but when you have to deal with paying customers that just want to dump their trash you can't treat people like that.
The staff at the weigh station are insanely rude and very unhelpful. If you have no idea what or where to go they treat you like your stupid for not knowing. The man that directs the truck where to go is very rude. If your employees are that miserable get new ones. The business will drive to York site (due to the extreme differences including helpful mannerisms) and waste resources just to avoid this miserable environment. This has been on every occasion mind you, not just one time. I understand every has bad days but every time I've ever come it is the same miserable attitude.
Came here to dump a house worth of furniture and other unsold items before moving out of our old rental property. We had over a thousand pounds of stuff. The guy that directed us to back our U-Haul in to the bay was funny, made numerous remarks about it being a tobacco-free work environment. We got all our trash out in a very therapeutic way: breaking every possible thing we could on the cement floor of the place. My dad and I had a great time and I highly recommend bringing your trash here to trash. Ha. The gate was broken which caused us about 3 minutes of delay in entering and exiting, but other than that, great experience.
