My car started misfiring on Friday. I needed the car for work on Monday. Took it to a couple garages who refused to implement the significant repair and gave me dates a week out. Swung by McCoy Automotive. John scheduled me in despite being backlogged. He was very helpful in diagnosing the misfires in my car’s engine and went out of his way to work over the weekend. My car was ready for work on Monday and I paid a very reasonable price for this. Cant recommend this garage enough!

I’ve been coming here for a while now and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my vehicle. The two guys that run the anhop are both wonderful and very knowledgeable, I don’t worry about being overcharged or over sold things when I come here especially as a woman.

I was in there for brake pad replacement and tires replacement. The new owner was very courteous and helped me pick out the options in my budget. Very reasonably priced and did not try to overcharge or oversell me. Overall felt very trustable especially compared to other garages in the city. I was in and out within 2 hours. Highly recommend this garage.

I went there to get the pieces changed in my car and they were bad already used they lacked of safety I recommend yall to never go there at all‼️

I was there for 2 minutes and they put a boot on my car because it was private parking but it’s A public business so it don’t make sense I had to pay 200 in cash only for nothing and when I ask for a corporate number he give me his number to file a complaint. I hope they close this business down they have no respect for customers even if I am not there for there business they can just come out and see why I was there don’t just put a boot on a car because it was there for 2 minutes that creates bad business and leaving a review like that does not help Bring you customers. As a person I would never go there for there business because of that. that tells me their money hungry.

I recently took my car to McCoy Automotive for a brake replacement, and I was extremely disappointed with the service. They ended up using used parts instead of new ones, which not only compromised my safety but also showed a lack of integrity and professionalism. I would not recommend them to anyone who values quality and trustworthiness in their automotive repairs. And they charge me 300 just for brake pads I am looking at the reviews and this place should not be open anymore.

I had a horrible experience at McCoy Automotive. I was overcharged and felt like I had no choice but to pay because they already had my car. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand, because the one-star reviews are completely accurate. After dealing with this myself, I can say those customers weren’t exaggerating. The owner’s responses to negative reviews say a lot about how this business is run. This shop may have been good in the past, but something has clearly changed. I’m not someone who leaves reviews, but I feel used and taken advantage of, and I don’t want others to go through the same thing.

I have appreciated McCoy Automotive. They are new to me and have served me well in their ability, knowledge, skill and time to turn around a job.

Anyone that does not come to get their cars repair in this Shop let me tell ya, Ya'll are missing out 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

I had a very disappointing experience here. My car was booted and I was forced to pay $200 just to have it removed. There was no clear warning posted, and the staff showed no willingness to work with me. It felt like I was being taken advantage of, and I left feeling frustrated and unfairly treated. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

They did a terrible job all the way around. I end up taking my car to another place and found out bolts were loose, they never changed my air filter, just all around sloppy. To top it off, their customer service is horrible. The guys speak to you like you’re dumb. I will never go back nor recommend this place to anyone!

Have had multiple exceptional experiences with this company. Techs are very smart and do good work. I have had numerous vehicles through their shop and have been nothing but satisfied woth the work and prices!

This shop used to be very well respected and ethical, unfortunately has gone very downhill with the new owners. My wife had her car in the shop for a simple rotor and break replacement. Ever since her car doesn’t break properly at all and shudders and slips when breaking. Took it into another shop and was told that McCoy auto did not clean anything and before installing the cheap rotors they gave us, which led to very very uneven breaking, almost to the point where the car wouldn’t stop. We had it into Mccoy twice after the rotor and break replacement and they couldn’t fix the problem. They also lied to her regarding her CV Joint. I told them that her CV joint was going out because we could hear this very audible clicking sound when turning. But just dismissed it and said it was no problem and “normal”. Lastly with my car, I had them install brand new tires and give me an alignment, and ever since that day my car shakes when going 55+ miles an hour. I brought it up to them and they just dismissed everything and did nothing to help or solve the issue. These guys seem very unconcerned regarding every issue my wife and I have with our cars. Definitely recommend NOT going here anymore.

The new owner is amazing. He diagnosed the problem on my volvo xc90 efficiently and quickly. The spark plugs were never replaced on my volvo despite a recent dealership factory service that should have done it. Additionally the volvo dealership left the spark plug loose causing the engine to misfire. The owner diagnosed it immediately, replaced the spark plugs and also went above and beyond to talk to the NJ volvo dealership on my behalf. The dealership accepted their mistake and I am likely to get some refund from them. No BS, no extra work/cost that doesn’t need to be done. Honest and efficient work that is difficult to find anymore. The car runs smooth as ever! Highly recommend this garage. I know I will be going in next time over the NJ volvo dealership.

Been coming here for almost three years. The previous owners retired last year and the current staff have the same integrity and quality. As a woman it can be intimidating to go into a shop alone but I have never had an issue here. Prices are very fair and staff have been straightforward. No frivolous charges like the big corporations.

Awful place. We parked at the auto-shop for second we still inside the car. In second two idiots came out and put Wheel Lock in the front of the vehicle even they saw us sitting inside . We got charged $200 dollars cash no credit or debit cash only. Plus that on the receipt a said cash sale. I guess they’re hungry for money 😂. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. I RECOMMEND GOING SOMEWHERE else

First time going to this self service car wash after buying my car and it was the worst mistake I ever made! A brand new vehicle!! After washing my vehicle I then proceeded to dry off my car with the dryer machine. The clamp “holding” the dryer tube up on to the pole above my car was not tightened and put in properly! The tube slipped off the pole and smashed into my windshield and the hood of my car leaving a crack and scratches. I reached out to the owner to make him aware of the situation and tried to get his insurance to cover the damages to my car due to improper maintenance and equipment he was extremely rude and unprofessional. I made a police report and that was POINTLESS! I do not recommended going here the equipment is old and broken and can cause damage to your vehicle. This place needs some serious repairs!!!

Unethical business practice!! This guy is ready to take your car!! Did not see his signs literally acknowledge that the car was parked for 2 minutes, and they towed it!! He told me that if I did not pay 400.00 cash , he would charge 1k for the towing!!! Did not take anything into consideration!! He said he watched as the driver exited the vehicle and towed it! Took aver 35 minutes to bring the car back from his "impound" lot. Would not do or consider business with the money hungry poeple.

Leaving for a trip and had a brake issue. They were able to squeeze in immediately and up and running in time for my trip. Very reasonable price. Quick and friendly service.

Excellent customer service! This was my first time bringing a vehicle to Manor Auto and I’m so happy I did. Professional and super friendly staff. I had to get my car inspected they were efficient and reasonably priced. I’ll definitely be back next year.

This is our first time here and now our go to place. The excellent communication you get and the quick replies are what you wish every place offered. We e-mailed them to bring our car in for inspection, the next morning we got a call from Susie who was very friendly and set a time that worked for us. When we picked the car up they even cleaned it, it felt almost like we picked a car up from a lot (that brand new feeling) I plan to recommend this shop to friends and co-workers! What a great personal experience.
