Lazy, liars or both? My kids going to college nearby has an obvious battery problem in a 2013 Silverado. I sent him to this Advance (Sat 11/22, 11:00) because I’m a big fan of them back home. They told him it takes a specialist to even test the battery on a Chevy pick up truck and a specialist to install a battery. Would not help him. I sent him to a nearby AutoZone and of course they took care of it no problem. I’m appalled.

Understaffed and Overpriced - I walked in to get a pair of headlight bulbs for my wife's car. I realized I could buy the exact bulbs 27% cheaper through an online source, but my wife wanted the headlights that evening, so I began waiting in line. and waiting ... and waiting ... There seemed to be only one employee working at the counter and there were multiple people in front of me. I don't know exactly how long I waited, but eventually my desire to save some money overcame my desire to wait in that line, so I put the bulbs back on the rack and walked out of the store.

Friendly workers, and they installed the new windshield wipers at no additional cost. You do pay a little extra for wiper blades here, but it's worth it when they install them for you.

Gentlemen was super helpful. Started with a new girl helping, but I couldn't tell if she was new or just could care less.

I cannot overstate how wonder Maria is. I came in after having trouble starting and running my car. The store was busy and understaffed, but Maria was attentive and thorough. I’ve been at other stores in the past where I feel rushed or disregarded, but I didn’t feel that in the slightest. She was able to get my battery changed and double-checked to make sure I didn’t need a new alternator. I would happily go out of my way to go to this location as long as I knew Maria would be there.

They were nice and helpful. I only had trouble with the GPS getting me there.

My daughter had been driving my car when the check oil light came on. Also, when she stopped to put gas in it, she said the car smelled like oil. We measured the amount of oil in the car & the dipstick made it look like the car was about to be completely out of oil! We put in two quarts & I kept my car so she wouldn’t have to worry about it. I drove to Advance Auto & was promptly taken care of. I bought a 5-gallon jug of oil in case this became an ongoing problem with my model year 2012 car. I also desperately needed replacement window wiper blades a& the technician volunteered to put the on for me. That was so helpful because it was difficult to reach the middle of the blade where they are attached to the wiper arms! The technician instructed me how to properly check the oil myself, & it looked like it had plenty of oil in it. He said because the engine had been running, we were not getting a true reading & told me to check it again in the morning. With a cold engine the oil measured perfectly up to the full line. As for those windshield wipers, they have been great during all the snow, sleet & rain we have been having weekly. Definitely a good buy!

Just left an autozone who said their oil recycle tank is full, and went to this location. Guess what? This location’s oil tank is also full! The hell are these Lancaster auto parts stores doing? They sure aren’t stocking the parts you ever need, so you’d imagine they’d at least be able to recycle your used oil.

I called ahead to make sure they had the coolant I needed and I walked the whole way there. The lady at the counter (who barely acknowledged my existence) tried to sell me the wrong coolant (thankfully, I checked)... then I was informed they don't actually have what I need. What a waste.

My car battery was dying and I had to keep jumping it. The only time I had to go was in the sleet. The guys in the store were so friendly, helpful, and cheerful, even though they had to come out in the rain to test the battery, install the new one, and they even tested my charging system to make sure it would all work OK. They checked the warranty on my old battery and talked me through the process. They were incredibly welcoming, supportive, and their attitudes were refreshing!

I needed a battery for my Wife's car. Took the dead battery in and the employee took the time to explain my options, showed me possible upgrades if I wanted them. He made sure I had these pads for the battery I didn't know about and quickly helped me find a rear window wiper. Excellent customer service. Just what I needed to get the job done for this novice.

Got to the store at 8:55 (yes, I understand it’s 5 minutes to closing time). The employee working watched me park, locked the door, and walked away. I saw him walking away as I was running up to the door. Knocked on the door and no answer.

I called ahead because I needed two belts and I was going to borrow a car to come and get my parts. They said they had the parts and when I got there they only had the one belt. I was not happy because I wanted to go to one place and pick up these parts. They did call Willowstreet and I had to drive over there to finally get the other belt. I thought they should have giving me some kind of discount for giving me misinformation over the phone. I go here because it's close and convenient for me. Yari & Stephen are the best tag team you'll find! Answered all my questions, found everything I needed, and sent me home safer and happier than I arrived. Stephen helped me with my install like the pro he is, too. It's refreshing to find genuinely good people who actually want to help you. Definitely coming back again. Thank you!

They only place I can find my cleaning product which is Spay Nine. Good for home use n vehicles. Advanced Auto is very organized and helpful. Moved lines thru quickly. And they know what they are talking Abt.

I needed a battery as my car let me sit this morning. I went here and spoke to the parts commercial manager and he got me a new battery installed with no complaints! I want him to be recognized for helping out in such a quick amount of time especially in the hot weather. Well done!

Horrible bought a battery a year ago and went to replace it, but my information wasn't found. I called another advance auto on Lititz pike and they offered to help But by that point my car wouldn't start. I asked advance auto to jump it and they left me waiting in the parking lot for an hour with my hood up at this point I just asked a stranger to give me a jump! I THANK THE EMPLOYEES FROM LITITZ PIKE ADVANCE AUTO FOR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I WILL NEVER GIVE MILLERSVILLE PIKE MY SERVICE AGAIN!

Was there this past weekend and was helped by Chris. He fully explained what I needed to purchase and gave 5 star customer service. Never made me feel like I was being rushed.

Poorest service ever. Unbelievable! I wanted 25 minutes to buy two items off the shelf. Could not get waited on. Rude and uncaring. Go somewhere else.

Listen, I'm not the type to leave reviews everywhere I go lol but after today's visit, I definitely will. Vlad 100% turned my day around. From the "how can I help you" to "Have a good day" My battery died on me, they helped me as soon as I walked into the store. Long story short, my battery died completely from one minute to the next. Imagine the stress that came upon me. They said they can charge it for free for 4 hours, I agreed. Came back battery didn't take charge. They closed at 830pm, it was passed 830 and were still willing to help (Yari) was her name. They showed me different batteries, they gave me recommendations and they didn't hound me to buy a battery. If anything they told me to order it online and I could get 20% off as well. I went home... Purchased one of the batteries they recommended. Came in today with my 4 year old after having a stressful morning (over my car not starting) & me needing to go to work. & boom everything changed. I ordered the wrong size and Vlad was quick to fix the problem, he was talkative and overall a good, patient and knowledgeable person. He changed my battery with no issue, we went in got checked out and I left a REALLY REALLY happy customer. 5/5 no questions asked.

They take too long to ring people up. As far as parts they have always had what I needed or have ordered it so that it's their within 24 hours.

Well stocked store with all kinds of supplies. Got my battery from here and staff helped set it up. Friendly, courteous and informative folks. Coupons online make the price sweeter.

Went to return a tap and ring pliers, never once did they tell me the pliers were un returnable. Apparently they won’t take that because I opened it. When I tried to return the tap set because I couldn’t make it work one I guess rusted while I had it in my car so they denied that too. Didn’t try to work with me just rejected it.
