Towed my vehicle that was parked legally that did NOT require payment to park. Extremely predatory business.
To the manager/owner: You OWE me back the $170 plus the cost of the taxi to your lot.
My car was towed at 2am. I was forced to wait for over three hours until an employee finally showed up after 5 a.m to the lot.
One of the drivers openly admitted that no one answers the phones after a certain time,
either because they're asleep or simply choose not to. He also mentioned that cars are typically not
released until morning because no one usually stays at the lot overnight. If my car gets towed, I have the right to get it back, not when it’s convenient for someone else.
Speedy Towing called and filed my vehicle in at 3:32 am, but according to my phone records, my first outgoing call to them was at 2:33am after realizing my vehicle was gone around 2:10am! 0/10 stars
Speedy Towing and his neighbor Triumph Auto Service, LLC tried to scam me of $170. Tony with Speedy Towing erroneously towed my car and instructed me to bring $170 cash to pick up my car. I went to his office but the office was closed although I spoke to Tony less than an hour ago. Neftali Perez with Triumph Auto Service approached me and asked me for the cash. Meanwhile, the HOA community manager instructed me to NOT pay the towing company. After an hour of back and forth with the HOA management team and their communication with Speedy Towing, Neftali without saying a word, opened the gate so that I could pick up my car. What kind of a scam is Speedy Towing and Triumph Auto Service, LLC operating? Based on the reviews, it appears that Speedy Towing deliberately tow cars to steal money from the public.
If I could give zero stars I would. I had food delivered to my door and 2 mins later my delivery driver comes up to knock on my door saying his car was stolen. This man broke down in a panic as this is one of his main sources of income. He called 911 only to find out this company STOLE his vehicle in the not even 5 minutes it took him to deliver. He wasn’t parked in any spot. He just stopped for a sec put his hazards on and made a delivery like every else does. Again not even 5 minutes. I’m not surprised though. Every night I see this company prowl the parking lot walking up to cars shining flashlights in the windows looking for their next victim like a shark. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves messing with people’s for your own financial gain.
Their lot is full of gravel, on a steep hill, and filled with potholes. They do not care about your car and they will always “refer you to the owner” but never answer back.
They towed my vehicle even though I paid for the parking and the police seems like it’s no help. Dispatch at the police station said police can’t make them release your vehicle even though the tow company towed my vehicle illegally. Isn’t that stealing? The guy at the speedy tow said one of the letter was misspelled on the app to pay for parking even though that was the only car make and model there and I was sure typed my tags right. I’ll add the pictures to show that I paid for it
You’ve messed up my new 2025 Acura Integra this morning after you towed it in the most inhumane way while I had to use the bathroom in an emergency. You had me walk and hour to my house by foot while being partly disabled and had me wait hours for someone to show up to the address listed to retrieve my car. And on top of all of that you charged me near to 200$ to give my car back in shit condition. this new car now drives like shit the alignment, transmission, wheels, drivetrain, technology, sensors are suspected to be compromise as the car now jerks, is misaligned, and makes weird noises not there before you towed it. Before I escalate this.. I demand compensation in return for giving back my car not in the same mechanical process condition to where you picked it up.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I echo what everyone else has said - predatory towing at its best (or worst). Went into the 7-11 at 4 Corners in MD (University Blvd and Colesville Rd) to withdraw cash. Sign says customer parking only and it is directly behind the 7-11 and other businesses. Was in 7-11 for all of 2-3 minutes and came out and my van was towed! I immediately called the main office and they said I needed to go to the Silver Spring location. They obviously lurk around this location to catch people because the sign is not clear and just says Customer parking only. I took pictures of the signs and nothing says it is for McDonalds customers only and it is directly behind the 7-11! The ironic thing is that I was planning on going to McDonalds next door right after I got my cash at 7-11. How the hell can they do this and stay in business? Please do not park there because they will be waiting for you. I asked the clerks at 7-11 and they said it happens a lot. One - McDonalds need to clearly say in the sign that this is for only their customers - even though it is right behind a couple of business and the parking lot in front is very small. 2nd, these predatory jerks need to be shut down because they are clearly taking advantage of a situation where the sign is not clear. (Tell me where you see McDonalds in the sign above).
They steal my car from a paid parking spot on pango at apartment complex.! I don’t have any idea how they are allowed to stay in business! They are terrorizing the community predators thief’s the county or the state need to takeaway their business licenses . How can they do this to the community where there is law and order towing legally parked car in an apartment complex paid parking space !!!!
These predators roam downtown silver spring. I have seen them begin to tow away cars with children inside (like literally the children have to open the back door to let the driver know they are inside) and today I saw something really crazy. Right beside Effoi Reastraunt, I saw the tow driver (man in a red shirt) drive into someone’s foot. The man was behind the car the guy was towing and the driver ran right into him. If you were the guy who’s foot was run over please reach out to me! I saw the entire thing.
This tow company is a joke have called them twice on the same car parked in our spot and they didn't even show up first time waited 3 hours second time waited 6 hours no truck no call its not hard if they truly want to keep customers happy at least let them know they are busy
WRONGFUL & ILLEGAL TOWING. This towing company towed my car at Fenton St at 2:47 PM when I paid for my parking at 2:43 PM through Pango, i’ll provide the photos in the review. I had to go around to speak to the person inside and he was charging me ripoff 170.00$ and showing me 2 to 4 photos of another streets sign for towing/private property. After minutes of frustration I went back to where my was towed from to confirm and to my surprise I was right. Thanks to a witness he directed me to call a number for the Fenton Group who own that lot and they told me the tow company wrongfully towed my car. I proceeded to go back to speak to the person and told him that the parking lots assessor would like to speak to them and the tow person told me to call Pango (who you pay to park there) even though I had the receipt of my parking PAID. I then called them and clarified with them and YET AGAIN to my surprise they confirmed I paid. Even after all of that, the gentlemen in the office for the towing company spoke to the tow truck driver for a good hour almost looking to see if they can find a reason to charge me or put me in the wrong. After them wasting a good amount of time and looking like complete fools they decided to release my car blaming their system. Upon opening the gates the dumbfounded employee stated everyone makes mistakes and other nonsense.. I told him “Oh it’s everyone makes mistakes now since you guys are on the wrong, but if it was ME being towed due to my negligence, I would be charged 170.00$??? Get out..” and he told me “Your wasting more time..” like you guys haven’t already?? Especially after no apology.. or respect.. This towing company will be facing legal ramifications, and will be reported to the authorities and the state consumer protection agency along with the better business bureau (BBB).. don’t you worry. Unprofessional towing company and filled with slow-witted people. This company won’t be gaining customers but instead it’s going to deal with legal matters now, I promise you that and to whoever who has experienced the same or similar.
Terrible customer service. I was towed and in less than 5 minutes I called the company. They kept changing their answer and misleading me. Took me an additional hour on top of calling them to even get an answer for my car.
Terrible customer service. I wouldn’t expect a 5 star review average for any company in parking enforcement, but that being said, completely unsatisfactory service and treatment of a paying customer by their dispatch staff. The towing needs for our fleet will be handled by a company with better service standards.
February 1st , getting my car towed, was not on my bingo card, while parked in a shopping center, getting service, ie braids. I called 911 Montgomery county line,to report theft obviously. The person I spoke with was no help. I called the non emergency line, they were a bit helpful in the mist of my breakdown (I called a few times ).
This experience was a complete scam, this business has (the), if not THE WORST customer service. I already don’t like leaving my house, and now this! ah number I didn’t recognize, called to meet in an alley! Another guy made a smart remark and said “call 911”. This is what predatory towing is! It was $170 cash only and if you don’t have $170 cash, you have to wait for someone with a card machine to show up.
My car is still on the lot today Sunday February 2nd 2025 . I picked it up around 10:30 am. after calling numerous times without any response from 9:50 pm February 1,2025. For whatever reason I wasn’t charged, because they (fraudulently towed my vehicle).
I came to get my car, the gentleman who was there seemed to be cordial with my friend who dropped me off, I was completely disengaged and felt completely taken advantage of after all this. Thank god for the end.
This tow company is predatory. They will come up with any excuse to tow your vehicle. Making customers wait anywhere from an hour to a full day to retrieve their cars is outrageous. As a tow company, you should be able to hire dispatchers who are actually willing to work. There’s no reason we should have to wait for someone to be in the office to get our property back. Karma can be unforgiving. With all the money you’re making from customers, maybe you should consider investing in hiring staff and improving your nasty office environment.…
This is the only tow truck company in my area with a 1 star rating smh. They took my car from my reserved parking spot at 4:30 am, I have been living in this home for 7 months my tags are registered to this reserved spot and they have never towed me before, I guess they needed to make some money because with a 1 star rating they obviously aren’t getting any other business. They went against my policy and still forced me to pay to pick my car back up, the most janky shady and unprofessional company iv felt with for sure
Making customers wait until the next morning to pick up the car is really unprofessional and ridiculous. You are a tow company. You should have dispatchers that are willing to work There’s no reason why we have to wait until someone is in the office for us to get our property back.
Unbelievable. Our parking pass was actually in the vehicle....it just got twisted a bit, so obviously the tow truck driver didn't get out of his truck and really check. Obviously, we didn't have to pay to get our car back. 60 mins of my life I'll never get back...Do better, Speedy towing.
