Tires installed here from tirerack. Tires were installed correctly, torqued to spec, pressures match the door. Under $100 all in. Appointment was at 10am, job was completed at 1pm. A little long but not crazy. I also asked if they could install a cat shield but they were unable to do that for a reasonable price (fine, but slightly annoying). Communication was OK. I imagine this shop would be a better choice for German performance than run of the mill stuff like this.

Patrick and his team at S2 continue to provide consistent high quality service and repairs in the 10 years I have used them.

Diagnose fee is ridiculous and they won't even figure out what's wrong with the vehicle. My audi had random misfires, I brought it there and was charged $400+ for diagnosis and was later told I need to pay extra 4k for them to take out engine and tear down to find the problem. I took the vehicle to another specialist and it was just a faulty throttle body which was stuck close and failing high pressure pump. I ended up spending under 2k for repairs. Always seek another specialist before conclusion. S2 Dynamics are cool specialist but they need to do better with their diagnostics. Thanks

Disappointing Experience at S2 Dynamics I recently had a series of repairs done on my Audi A8 at S2 Dynamics, and I must say, my experience was far from what I expected from a highly esteemed car repair business. Initially, I took my car in for air suspension repairs and to replace all control arms, which totaled around $6,000. Shortly after these repairs, my check engine light came on in July 2025. I returned to S2 Dynamics, where they ran a diagnostic and concluded that I needed to remove and replace the catalytic converter on the left side (or potentially both), which would cost an additional $9,000. This recommendation left me stressed and worried, as I felt it was an exorbitant expense, especially since I had just spent a significant amount on repairs... not to mention with the holidays right around the holidays. Seeking more clarity, I decided to get a second opinion at Audi Silver Spring. They quickly identified the real issue: a faulty and contaminated Bank 1 Sensor 2 O2 sensor. To my relief, I also discovered that there was an open recall related to this sensor, which meant the replacement would be fully covered by Audi. Reflecting on my experience with S2 Dynamics, I am extremely disappointed in their professional service. Their initial recommendation to replace the catalytic converter was not only unnecessary but also caused me considerable stress over the thought of spending an additional $9,000. In the end, it was a simple O2 sensor replacement that should have been their focus. I hope my experience serves as a cautionary tale for others. While I had high hopes for S2 Dynamics, their oversight cost me both time and peace of mind. I would advise potential customers to seek a second opinion, as I wish I had done so sooner. Highly recommend these guys. Tires were delivered directly from TireRack. Their communication was wonderful throughout and the work was precise, clean, and quick.

Absolutely the best indie shop around. Pat and Larry are incredibly kind and knowledgeable to anything related to your German car. More than fair pricing and lightning fast work. Don’t hesitate to visit this shop. Can’t recommend enough.

I highly recommend this garage! Larry is super helpful and extremely responsive. I ordered tires through tire rack and saw them listed as one of the installers. I’m so happy I decided to go with them! The mechanic informed me that all 4 of my tires needed replaced (they were very worn down)instead of just the 2 that I had purchased so they assisted me with the return process for the original 2 tires that I had ordered and answered my many questions and calls. They were very patient and understanding and seem to be very on top of things.

Pat and Larry always take good care of you. Been taking my Audi to them for years.

Terrific experience from first call to pickup. Had my brakes done front and back on my Q7. Price was competitive and work done on time and fast with no drama. Brakes are perfect with zero noise. Planning to go back for my next maintenance need.

Went in to have tires installed and alignment. Tires feel good, alignment feels good. Mechanic is good. Thank you for the good work. Front counter communication and empathy needs work. Knowledge of Toyota Vehicles needs work if you want to start talking bad about them. 1st Generation Venza's do not have a tire cupping issue. You can "google it" as you suggested.

No thanks. My dad went here regularly for his VW and from what we can tell, they didn't do a flush of some tubes as a part of the recommended service. Led to a water leak that caused huge issues down the road. He recommended this place until that point. Meanwhile, I went here for an oil change a few months ago. They recommended about $3,500 worth of work on the car before my next oil change. I had those services checked out at my regular place, none of those services were needed. A friend of a friend recommended this place, so maybe it depends on the person servicing the vehicle? Or how well they know you? Either way, it would take a lot for me to come back here.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. This all started 3 years ago. It was a straightforward PCV, thermostat replacement job. It's the easiest job ever if you know what you're doing for Audi. The owner seem nice, the shop is clean. Had a good review on yelp, so I went. LITTLE DID I KNOW THE NIGHTMARE THAT I HAD TO ENDURE FOR THE NEXT 3 YEARS!!! There was a leak in the coolant pipe. They replaced it, everything seem fine. two days later, pool of coolant in the garage floor. Went took the car back, and they said they installed the pipe wrong. They replaced it. I thought that was it. Over the next 3 years, I went to 5 different shops to fix the issues with coolant leaking. Long story short, S2Dynamics have cut all corners. They totally destroyed the thread on the block. Instead of telling me, they cut the OEM screw, and forced the coolant bolt into the block, which started to leak slowly, then eventually come out just enough to leak heavily, which took 3 years to figure out. I had to get a retired machinist to come and fix the thread on the block for $1200!!! otherwise it was a total dissemble job, including pulling the engine out! IF YOU GO HERE, you may have to go through what I went through. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP. I am in the process of getting a lawyer to sue this place. It cost me $12,000 + and 3 years to fix this issue that they screwed up. I have loads of documentation - finally a shop in Florida figured it out and have photos or how badly they cut corners and total incompetence of doing what every other shop does on daily basis for Audi and getting it right. We literally sat there and had a huge discussion about how terrible they worked on the car.

I discovered Patrick Blisset about twelve years ago and I haven't taken my Audis to anyone else since then. I found him thru Yelp reviews at a time when the Audi dealer wanted $4,000 for a repair to the manual transmission of my TT that was only one month outside of warranty. Patrick brought the transmission back to like-new condition, with minor adjustments and the addition of some sort of liquid treatment. The charge? About $150.00! He told me that he wasn't sure how long the fix would hold up, but the transmission performed perfectly during the next ten years that I owned my TT. Since that time S2 Dynamics has serviced two other Audis for me and I've always been more than 100% satisfied. There has never been a problem with the work, the price has always been even better than I would expect and my cars have always been ready quickly, as promised. Also important for me, S2 Dynamics always promptly and without complaint provides a ride for me to/from the Twinbrook Metro station. As for "above and beyond," Patrick bailed me out of a dicey situation when a broken fuel line left me stranded on a ramp to I270 in afternoon rush hour. He immediately sent a flatbed to retrieve my car, and the truck arrived before the tow that the MD State Police officer had requested. I was a nervous mess because the police had arrived about two minutes after my car broke down and they told me I had ten minutes to get my car off the shoulder of the road before they would remove and impound it. From my description of the problem over the phone Patrick knew exactly what had happened, so he was prepared with the new part when we at arrived at S2. This was exactly 6:00, their closing time, but Patrick stayed to swap out the broken fuel line and install the new part. From breakdown to finished repair was less than 30 minutes. Words are insufficient to describe what this meant to me, not only to have my car retrieved and quickly repaired on a sweltering summer afternoon, but even more so that Patrick's control of the situation totally relieved me of my considerable stress. The charge to me for the tow, the part and the labor was zero dollars! Yes, S2 Dynamics's driving force is superlative customer service. I've been their satisfied customer for twelve years and I will remain their customer as long as I own cars that they service. How long will that be? Lord only knows. On my most recent visit I was told that my neglected and abused 20-year old Audi needed about $4k - $6k worth of work. (My car was rather indelicately pronounced to be a "basket case.") Ouch. As I didn't want to put that much money into a 20-year old car, and not being in a position to immediately buy another car, Patrick took pity on this old codger living on a modest fixed income, and did the very, very minimal work to get me SAFELY back on the road for just $300.00. I can only imagine the hard sell I would have gotten from the Audi dealer, and this was one more time that Patrick put me at ease in what could have been a super stressful situation. I was sent on my way with an admonishment to get my butt in gear to buy another car before my beloved Avant bites the dust. Based on my past experience with S2 Dynamics, I think I'm probably good to go for quite a while. Patrick at S2 Dynamics should give a TED talk on customer service!

I've heard so much about this tuner from other enthusiasts in the area, so when my regular shop was booked I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did because they did an excellent job on my car. I needed a full fluid service on my car and they took care of me completely before a long cross country drive. Thank you S2 Dynamics and I wish you guys had better BMW Tuning options such as Noelle or Carbahn available.

Pat and his team from S2 Dynamics helped me out by completing an engine swap and turbo upgrade for a 2018 S7 I just purchased. The swap wasn't without it's issues but Pat was on top of everything. He is truly knowledgeable about all things Audi!! The car has been very reliable since the work, making it back and forth to NYC twice and Ohio once. A+++++++

I've been 3-4 times now to S2 for my Audi. S2 is trustworthy, communicative, and provides quality work. I've been to Audi dealerships and other specialty mechanics and have never received the same attention and transparency about my vehicle. Pat cares about his customers and advises them as if it was his own car. Highly recommend

Excellent service. Pat is great to work with, and straightforward with issues/concerns. Been there 4 times now from 2012 on for my Audi. Got suspension work, timing belt etc done over this period. Last time was because my car got "totalled" and needed to have another MD safety inspection before getting my salvage title. They worked with me to get it up to spec at a very reasonable cost and also took care of another issue that cropped up right as I drove out of the shop. Update 09/09/2019: still great work and more than fair about pricing! Have got even more things big and small fixed here (hit a rock that took out the transmission, changed out coilpacks, swapped out battery) and the car is *still* running strong. 2023 - still great! My Audi is long gone, but I bought a 2018 MINI countryman this year and brought it in for service which went great along with the right amount of advice.

9/25/23 Update - Just had some control arms and ball joints replaced. Wish things didn't cost so GD much! But what I am happy about is S2 charged me at least $250 less than "the stealer" (in the same zip code) would have! And probably savings would be even more because "the stealer" would want to charge more time for doing the same work and charge another hour labor. That would increase the difference by another $230 (the stealer's hourly rate) to $480. Thanks, Pat! Very happy with cost of service & even happier once I found out the mechanics are former BMW mechanics & they keep up on their training. Service staff appear to be very knowledgeable and even friendlier. Also like you can make appointments based on your service so you don't just have to drop off in the morning. Nice waiting area as well if you want to wait.

S2 replaced the rear wheel bearings on my Q5 last year, and yesterday I had routine maintenance done. I was able to drop my car off the night before and pick it up finished when I got off work - after business hours - since they have a secure locker system for key pickup that is VERY CONVENIENT! I was so shocked when I was quoted my bill that I asked if it was a mistake. The last time I took my Q5 to Rockville Audi for routine maintenance I paid exponentially more than what I paid yesterday! So glad I found S2. Getting high quality work for a reasonable price is a dream come true.

Needed to get some work done to eventually sell my Audi A5 Read good reviews about this shop so dropped my car off to diagnose and fix a misfire issue that occurred sporadically. Pat was very friendly, polite, and helpful in trying to figure out what was wrong. Paid about $1300 for what Pat recommended, valve cleaning, replacing injectors, and a new oil separator. Got the car back a few days later and everything seemed fine, then the misfire issue surfaced again and got so bad that the car was undriveable. Pat agreed to take the car back and continue working on the misfire issue free of charge. Two weeks go by and no contact from the shop. I called in and asked for status three separate times and got a different answer each time I called. One person said they figured out the problem and would fix it, one person said they couldn't replicate the misfire to diagnose it, and one person (incorrectly) told me that the car had been ready for pickup for days. Finally I get a text from Pat to pick up the car. I pick up the car and drive it home. Next morning I open the engine bay and find my engine cover was missing, driveway had a big new oil stain, and someone had left a pair of needle nose pliers sitting on the intake manifold. The misfire issue came back a couple days later and at that point I had had enough. Probably could have taken the car back for a 3rd round of work free of charge but I think that would have been a waste of time. Pat seems like a knowledgeable/nice guy but I couldn't trust his staff/shop after my car got worse with each visit. It was honest of him to attempt the 2nd repairs free of charge but I ended up biting the bullet and selling the car as-is for about 6k less than it was worth.

Been coming to Pat for almost 18 years and love his work ethic and quality of work. He's amazing and his whole team focuses on quality. If you are looking for a quality mechanic who takes pride in their work, come to S2. You won’t find a better mechanics for your prized possession.

Let me say this “I appreciate honesty, quality, and price, and been so thorough”. In general I am very skeptical of repair shops, but these guys (special thanks to Pat) exceeded my expectations in the positive way. If you have luxury European cars this is the place to nurture your babies 🙏🏻 thanks and SUPPORT FREEDOM AND PEACE IN #UKRAINE 🇺🇦

By far the best experience at a tuning shop I’ve EVER had. I’ve had multiple cars tuned and upgraded at places with an attitude like they’ll get to you when they get to you. Not at S2. I got constant updates on the work that was being done to my vehicle. Sometimes even twice a day. They have a text message system so that I can reach them almost anytime. And the value you get for what you pay is better than anywhere else. The prices were fair and when I didn’t understand the cost it was patiently explained to me. S2 has earned a customer for life. I have many upgrades planned for my Audi going forward and this is the company I’m gonna go to

It pains me to leave a bad review for these guys! I moved to the area and had been looking for a shop with good customer service that I could call home for my car for regular maintenance. I got lucky and found S2 fairly quickly and brought my Audi S5 for scheduled maintenance and everything was great. Nice team, quick service, good prices, checked all my boxes. Recently, about a month after my 75k service, I had a rough idle and rich smelling exhaust and brought it in for the first mechanical issue I've ever had in the car. It sputtered and ran very rough and eventually shut off and wouldn't come back on. I had it towed to S2 and after their evaluation, they said the motor is seized up and I'll need to replace the whole thing!! Sent me an estimate for just over $12k, I honestly thought they were kidding. They proceeded to tell me details of the cylinder heads not holding compression, maybe a spark plug had failed and ruined a cylinder, rare but can happen (he'd seen it before). Being very reluctant to proceed, Patrick called me and talked to me for 20 minutes about how they are honest and experienced, it's unfortunate but rare things like this can happen and it would probably cost just as much to take the engine apart to diagnose as would be to replace the whole thing. I had the car picked up the next day and taken to the Audi dealership. 4 hrs later they gave me a diagnosis of a failed fuel injector, they sent me an estimate but were very busy so they helped me find a local shop who could do the repair (much cheaper than they could have also) and today I'm going to pick up my car, completely fixed with the original engine still intact. The shop replaced the fuel injector, performed a tune up, replaced a few gaskets, lower radiator hose, etc. and in total I'm out $2200! I hate leaving bad reviews, I genuinely thought the guys at S2 were nice and customer oriented but this experience definitely changed my opinion on their mechanical fortitude so I won't be taking my car there in the future. Just another cautionary tale to consider when picking a shop for mechanical issues rather than preventative maintenance.

They are a very honest and upfront business, and they always tell you straight up what needs to be done, or what their honest opinion is. They were very lenient with each part of the process, and were able to make it most convenient for me as well. The warranty on their work they offer is generous. Patrick was great with working on my car while they had it and he was very knowledgeable and responsive.

I just took my Panamera to this shop because my boyfriend gets his cars serviced here. My tire had a gash and needed a patch right away. I called and they said they could take care of my tire that day. I went in and the shop is clean and the entire staff is extremely polite and professional. They were quick and and very honest with me. They don't try to upsell you or treat you as if you don't know anything about your own car. They actually didn't charge me for the patch and gave me advice on how I should handle the return of my car when the lease ends. I had a very positive experience at this shop and would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants an honest opinion and good service. I rarely get this kind of service at an auto shop and am quite pleased with how they treated me and my car. I will be coming back here for all my auto needs.

You can’t beat this shop. They’re honest, trustworthy, dependable and they do great work. Pat just reflashed my ECU for free and I can tell you from experience, the other shops will hit for an hour of labor (anywhere from $75 to $100). Thank you S2 Dynamics! See you next time

Excellent service and communication. Pat and his team take the time to explain the work to be performed and what parts are involved. They also take pictures of any potential problem areas, instead of only telling you, so you can make a better decision on how and when to tackle those issues. We have taken our VW Tiguan for service here three times and have been pleased every single time. I've also serviced my Audi S6 for brakes, rotors, and alignment and the S2 team helped source ceramic pads and spent some time looking for aftermarket rotors. Extremely happy with the quality of service provided every time.

My Audi is getting a bit older and now out of warranty and with the high cost of Audi dealer repairs I decided to find a new repair shop. I found Patrick at S2 on line from the great reviews. I have now been to S2 on 2 occasions for service and was extremely pleased. Patrick is a really nice guy, very knowledgeable and seems to be very honest and a lot less expensive than the dealerships. The service is great, all the guys in the shop are really nice and courteous and they take some of the pain out of car repairs.

I brought my car in for a routine oil change and, as always, the service was outstanding. I was able to bring my car in at a time convenient for me, I got a text when my car was ready and when I picked it up I knew that Pat had checked everything thoroughly. The waiting room is super clean and relaxing, the staff is friendly and efficient, the prices are fair and you can be sure you will never get work done or parts replaced that aren’t needed! I would never take my car to anyone else. I’d give Patrick Blissett and S2 Dynamics 10 stars if I could! Outstanding!
