I visited the Rockville store to replace the battery in my Acura MDX after experiencing repeated starting issues over the past week. I had to jump‑start the car three times. Since I originally purchased the battery from the Rockville location in June 2024 from the Owner himself, I was surprised to encounter a failure after only 18 months.
The sales associate who assisted me first attempted to test the battery while it was still in the vehicle. She had difficulty getting the tester to function properly and repeatedly adjusted the clamps without success. We then went inside, where she looked up my account and informed me that the battery would need to be left at the store for a 24‑hour test. Only if the battery was confirmed defective would a replacement be provided.
As the owner of a single vehicle, leaving the battery for 24 hours—or removing it and bringing it back later—is not feasible. I offered a reasonable alternative: I would purchase a new battery so that my car remained operational, and if my original battery was later found to be defective, I would be reimbursed. The associate declined this option and did not offer any workable solution.
The Rockville store is my new go to place for Marine batteries. The lady at the store treated me as a friend offered options then ordered the exact battery I wanted. Highly recommended.

Very efficient service, ordered my Pilot battery online, got a discount, had it installed. The lady installing was very helpful and courteous. Even brought out a couple of screws that were missing on my air intake. If you need a battery that does not need registering (like German cars), this place is a no brainer for price and service.. Yes you can save a few bucks at Costco, but the Duracell here has 4yr warranty vs Costco Interstate 3 yr warranty. Plus help out a local store that specializes in batteries, you buy enough stuff from big box anyway. You want folks like this to be around when you need a specialized battery.
The guy at the front was very helpful and informative. They were able to successfully repair my phone screen after an insurance claim within 1 hour. Would recommend coming for a basic screen repair
When batteries or bulbs are needed in our house or for our car, I no longer shop around. This is the only place that makes any sense to visit since they consistently seem to have it all, including great service and price. I highly recommend them.

Kevin and Enrique were super helpful! They tested my car battery, alternator and starter. When I asked if there was any way to save money on the battery I was purchasing, Kevin told me I could save money if I ordered it online and took me through the process. Enrique changed my battery and I my radio didn't get reset. It was fast and easy. I definitely recommend Batteries Plus for car Batteries. They were on Bob Villa's list of places to get car batteries.
I purchased a car battery from this store, which came with a 3-year warranty. However, after only two years, the battery was already failing. When I visited the store to exchange it, they informed me that the battery voltage was below 10 volts, which meant it wouldn’t be covered under the warranty. In contrast, other stores like AutoZone and Auto Parts offer warranties even if the battery voltage is as low as 2-3 volts. Consequently, I will not be returning to this store for battery replacements in the future. Their 3-year warranty is simply not reasonable.
Website easy to use for online ordering. Pickup at the store went smoothly; staff friendly and helpful. Great experience. Unfortunately battery turned out to be the wrong group and they did not carry to correct group size, but the refund was handled in a prompt and friendly manner.

My car needed a jump start from a completely dead battery. The service person suggested Batteries Plus Bulbs because they install the car battery. We got there, and a sales person worked through several scenarios before eventually concluding that he couldn't help me. He offered me a second jump which I didn't need, and he made sure we were on our way. If you need a car battery, this is the place to come.
And they did it again! We have a couch at home imported from Italy that has a built in battery that costs about 300 dollars to replace every couple of years depending on usage. Not under theses guys watch! I took both batteries to Battery Plus for advice. This time around Gabriel, who is super knowledgeable, guided me through the options and also advised me not to play around with the original battery cells as it could cause a fire. We managed to replace the whole thing for a better, safer option for a fraction of what I thought I had to pay for the original Italian sets. Instead about $600 for the two batteries, I end up paying only a little over 100 bucks for both replacement sets. Thank you so much for the patience and the usual friendly costumer service! The couch is working perfectly well, with better capacity for an unbeatable price. Support local’s businesses like this one. This store is a great asset to the community!
My advice to you is to stop looking for a place to replace batteries from wristwatches to cars. The price is very, very reasonable, the service is excellent. Today we are driving to the beach for a few days and the car battery is dead. Brought the AUDI here and 15 minutes later the battery is replaced by the owner who really knows his stuff. I know, right?! Only 15 minutes! I got more than I was expecting. Super friendly service, faster than I was hoping it would take for way less money than I was willing to pay. I’ve been coming here for a few years now and will continue to support this family owned and operated business. I hope the continue providing this service to our community for years to come.

Great service and a really good price. I purchased a new car battery on line. I showed up for installation at the appointed time (9:30 AM) and drove off about 5 minutes later with the new battery installed. I wish all services required for my car were as effortless and fast as this.

I ordered battery online for my wife’s car to have it installed and made a scheduled appointment for 2:00 pm today to replace the battery in my sad IPhone 6. Both transactions went very smoothly.
