I recently purchased a 2012 Toyota Camry car from member car and had a great overall experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional without being pushy. The salesperson Anthony Paz was knowledgeable about the vehicles and answered all of my questions honestly. I appreciated that they were transparent about the vehicle history and allowed me plenty of time to inspect the car and take it for a test drive without any pressure. This was a rarity! The buying process itself was smooth and straightforward. All the paperwork had been completed prior to my arrival, Which made the process easy I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a reliable used car and an stress-free buying process. I was advised that the also offer complimentary car washes on saturdays as well from 10-1.

Great experience at MemberCar, Anthony in sales helped me out. I was able to take the vehicle out on a test drive without the salesperson in the car telling me where to go, so I felt like a had a bit more freedom and I was really able to test out all the vehicle's options. Also, they were not pushy at all, they didn't hand me off the finance person for a high-pressure sale, it was all done right there with the salesperson. There was a minor issue with the car I was looking at, but they were able to fix it in the shop that day. Overall, it was very chill, I would highly recommend them. Definitely the best car buying experience I have ever had. Oh, and the vehicle I got seemed to be a pretty good deal as well.

Purchased a 2014 Cadillac SRX. When test driving had a rubbing sound in the steering wheel column. Rob, the sales manager said he would schedule a time to bring it back and fix the issue. Brought is back to the shop about 2 weeks later, after also finding a leak to the rear windshield fluid line that was leaking on my feet under the steering wheel. Membercar had my car for 5 days, fixed the leak but broke the line going to the front windshield fluid, still leaking on my feet. Could not be tested for a few days because of the cold, but, when defrosted, the front windshield leaks. Never fixed the steering issue and now no one will return my calls. I call every other day followed by an email. Photo shows all the windshield fluid on my floor. It's been 2month and cannot get anyone to call me back.

This small dealership offered a fair price for their used cars. The process was smooth, and the people there were easy to deal with. Everything felt simple and comfortable, and I really appreciated that they didn’t pressure us to “come today,” unlike some bigger dealerships. That made the whole experience much more pleasant.

We purchased a car for our College aged son back in May 2024. We have purchased several cars in from other dealers but decided to give Member Car a try. We took the car back to member car for A/C service three weeks after we brought it. It appears that the A/C issues that we had with the vehicle (That were not corrected) led to other issues such as coolant leak into the #3 cylinder (head gasket issues) which caused the turbo issue. Our son returned to school Richmond, VA four weeks later and alerted us that the car would not go above 20 miles per hour. We had him take the car to the shop in Richmond, and they alerted us that both the fuel injectors and the turbo have gone bad on the car. We found an outstanding shop in Richmond that diagnosed the issues that the car dealer should have noticed. Cylinder 2 and cylinder 3 misfire codes. The shop performed cylinder air fuel ratio test and vehicle failed due to cylinder 4 running too rich. Based on this the engine is more than likely leaning out the vehicle which is causing cylinders 1,2 and 3 to misfire. Cylinder 4 injector has gone bad. Due to condition of vehicle misfiring they did not test drive vehicle but performed cylinder air fuel test at idle. After replacing injectors and running vehicle we found noise coming from engine area. Narrowed noise down to a bad or failing waste gate on turbo. With waste gate unplugged the noise is not present. The shop took off the inlet pipe going into the turbo to confirm that the turbo compressor wheel does have lots of shaft play and does not spin well at all which confirms the turbo itself is bad causing the lack in power while trying to accelerate The shop looked the vehicle over and only found that the A/C condenser has a spot where it looks like it may be leaking some but the A/C was cold The shop found that find head gasket is blown, by doing a coolant pressure test and pretty quickly the test lost pressure, they found water in cylinder #3. The vehicle needed a head gasket replacement, turbocharger replacement including the fuel injectors. WE HAD TO PAY $5000 AND WE JUST BROUGHT THE CAR FOR $15000. WE TRIED TO CALL THE OWNER AND HE IGNORED OUR CALLS, THEN ALL OF A SUDDENHE GOT COVID. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM MEMBER CAR.

After submitting a car loan application and getting approved it sent me to different websites to car dealerships. When I saw the Acura MDX on Membercar's website I immediately put in an inquiry about the car. The next morning I got a voicemail from Justin for me to call if I had any questions about the car I was interested in. I called and set up a time to come test drive and he sent me the link to complete the application for the car. When me and my family came in for my appointment to test drive the car, we were greeted by everyone as soon as we walked in with the keys ready for me to test drive. Each staff member was very kind. After test driving I began the process for purchasing the car with Justin, who was such a huge help and knew his stuff. I couldn't take the car home that day because they literally just got the car on their lot and had to make sure everything was processed and the car was in good condition before I took it. During that time Justin was awesome at communicating with me the car pick up timeline and even stayed a little later the day I was scheduled to pick up the car. The day I picked it up it went smoothly and very quick! I was excited too get the car I wanted! Justin from Membercar was such a great help. Friendly and very helpful letting me know if I ever needed services to call the dealership and they will help. Bought my son a vehicle from MemberCar last November and the entire experience was easy and enjoyable. My sales representative was Hani Aranca. He was professional and did a great job going through the paperwork and allowing me to inspect the vehicle inside and out and test drive it thoroughly. The vehicle was pristine and mechanically updated. I enjoyed purchasing my used Honda CRV from MemberCar so much more than at the large dealerships. They even offer extended maintenance warranties and have a certified mechanic on site so if you want to bring your vehicle to them for maintenance, it again keeps you out of the dealerships. Whenever I need another preowned vehicle, I will definitely call Hani. My son was so happy driving it home. Thanks Hani!

My experience at Member Car was great from beginning to end. When I told them what kind of car I was interested in and the price range, they brought two cars that were right in line with what I was looking for. Justin was a great salesman, cordial, no pressure. I bought the car and they agreed to fix a couple of issues. Since buying it there service department has also been great. I’ve already recommended a couple of my friends to them.

After a week of going from scammy dealer to scammy dealer to find a new car after mine was totaled, I found Membercar, who was immediately 1000% more transparent and accommodating than ANY other dealer I had met with. I did not feel like I was being deceived at any point, and I did not feel as though I had to jump through hoops to purchase my new vehicle. Rob was absolutely amazing, helped with every step of the way, and was extremely kind. I was blown away by the customer service and will definitely be recommending them to any friends and family who need to purchase a car in the future- I wish I would have found them before going through all of the additional dealerships. It would've saved me so much time and frustration.

I purchased a 2017 Audi Q7 from MemberCar on July 2, 2025, with 79,091 miles. Around 3,100–3,200 miles after the purchase, the vehicle began developing more noticeable mechanical issues. Before that point, I had basic routine maintenance done to rule out simple causes, and the symptoms were very minor, so I didn’t suspect anything serious. Over time, the symptoms worsened, so I brought the vehicle to three locations Jiffy Lube, Meineke, and finally Audi Rockville. Audi’s diagnostic showed internal transmission failure and coolant contamination. Earlier diagnostics also noted a loose transmission fill plug and contaminated transmission fluid. I returned to MemberCar with the diagnostic results, but I was told they could not assist me. This review reflects only my personal experience with this purchase. If you plan to buy a vehicle from this dealership, I would recommend getting a fully independent pre-purchase inspection for peace of mind.

Drove several vehicles , all were trash . Then I drove a Jetta , it seemed ok . I bought it , they let me drive off the lot with flat tires . I had to come get a battery for the car the next day and replace it myself after the car would not start the next morning. Then one of the tires went out . I could not remove one lug nut off, AAA came and could not remove the lug nut either now I am stranded 25 miles from home , outside metro area

Garbage service. I called and spoke with a male agent, gave him an offer for an 2012 prius v, and instead of discussing it he just hung up the phone. Very rude and unprofessional. I actually had around $14k cash budget ready, but clearly they don’t care about real buyers. Their loss, not mine. Just a warning for others.

Not happy the way my experience ended. Once they sold me the car, didn’t hear from them. I live in another state, I had it looked at for inspection, it ended up needing thousands of dollars to pass. It needed brakes, 4 different bulbs, has a rear main seal leak, wipers were bad,.I sent them the things it needed also called a number of times no response. I’d never recommend them or buy another car there. Yes they’re cheaper, you get what you pay for.(I advise anyone that decides to get a car there better get it inspected by someone other than them)

Did not end up purchasing a car here, but it was still a good experience. I had called ahead to inquire about a couple of cars and they told me to come right down to check them out. They were pretty busy when I arrived but were still able to quickly pull the two cars I was interested in out of their inventory lot so I could test drive them. I talked with the owner David briefly about the cars, absolutely zero pressure to buy. He gave me his card to follow up on one of the vehicles I had some interest in, and he let me know after I emailed him that it had sold so didn't leave me hanging.

Shout out to Membercar and especially Sasha Techet. After searching hundreds of Tahoe's on Car Gurus I found one that appealed to me at Membercar in March. After emailing them,Sasha answered all my questions and even got me a list of what things were wrong with it. Price was a little high for it,so I declined. May comes along and the vehicle shows up on my Car Gurus search again. Calling Sasha back she got me a better price. I explained that I lived 4 hours away and would appreciate pics from underneath. She went out of her way to take pictures and a video of the cars underneath . After receiving them I said I would buy it. She had the car clean and all paper work ready when I arrived. I would recommend her to anyone looking at a vehicle there.

What a fabulous experience selling a special car to David at MemberCar yesterday! Service was professional and friendly from the front desk staff to the mechanics. Pricing was not only fair but also they took the time to explain how they came to the number they offered. A really classy touch is that if you need a ride home after selling your car to them they can help you out by providing you an Uber ride. Start to finish a seamless experience. I contacted MemberCar about a MINI Cooper Paceman I found on line, and Rob Moreno responded with an invitation to see the vehicle. I was in the neighborhood and dropped by unexpectedly. Rob was with someone, so Tyler brought the vehicle out for a quick view. It was well-maintained, bordering on immaculate! I arranged for a test drive and scheduled an inspection at a local MINI dealer. Rob was friendly and accommodating, and his no-pressure demeanor was refreshing. The inspection found a couple of needed repairs that were not deal-breakers for me, and the owner, David (who EVER meets a dealership's owner during a purchase?!), offered to take care of the repairs! All in all, the process was flawless AND painless, and I would highly recommend Rob Moreno and MemberCar for their exceptional vehicles and over-the-top customer service!
