I had a deeply disappointing and upsetting experience at this Goodwill location. I approached a manager for assistance with linking my membership card to my online profile, as the system tells me my card is already associated with another account. Instead of offering help or even basic courtesy, the manager responded with dismissiveness and clear unwillingness to assist. Without even trying to look up the issue or ask further questions, she simply said she couldn’t help and walked away mid-conversation. I’ve never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from a staff member — especially someone in a managerial position. This level of customer service is unacceptable. I left the store feeling frustrated, humiliated, and completely disregarded. I will be rethinking any future visits to this location.

Refused to let me return pants because it had been 8 days, one day over corporate’s return policy. Changing rooms are present in the building but never available to use, so the pants were too big. I refuse to harass a minimum wage worker in any situation, so I donated the pants back. But I feel a one star review is a fair trade for my wasted 8 dollars. If you’re in the area and want a thrift store, skip the corporate slop, try Return to Oz consignment.

I've only been to this location twice however I always find good buys. The store is clean, fully stocked, great name and generic brands in good condition. The staff is helpful. There is plenty of parking on the lot.

I had a wonderful experience today at Goodwill. The workers were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They were trying to put items out and straighten to keep the store neat and well stocked with treasurers. I believe I had the privilege to speak with Pedro (store manager) Renee and Pearl and a couple I didn't get the names. Their smiles and attitudes were wonderful. Thank you to the entire staff at the Annapolis Goodwill - I appreciate all they do!

I don't expect anything fancy from a Goodwill, and I've frequented several. This is hands-down the worst Goodwill I have ever seen. Clothes are not sorted by size (there are size markers on the racks that are definitely not followed). Even the tags on the clothing frequently mislabel the size. Dressing rooms are closed...never been to another Goodwill with this problem. Prices are high; find a halfway decent item, and they frequently label it "boutique" and double the price. Last I checked, Old Navy is not a boutique...and I sometimes find items that are priced OVER what they retailed at when NEW! Also: no discounts at all. Another thing that no Goodwill does outside of this "Goodwills of the Chesapeake" group. Waste of time to come here. I've been to plenty of locations that are clean, organized, and well priced. This one is a ripoff.

It was.. generally ok. There's some really good things, but there were also things that were unreasonably worn out even just soiled. They say the dressing rooms have been 'closed since covid' which. Guys. It's 2025. We can have dressing rooms, even my local store opened them back up two years ago! The staff were nice, but I'm generally disappointed. Goodwill, do better!

This Goodwill is very hit or miss. I have visited a few times and found amazing, high quality items for a good price (some new with tags). Other times I find nothing or the items I do find are wildly overpriced. This store is generally unorganized and feels a little dingy, but the staff are always very nice. If you are local it’s worth a stop, but set your expectations accordingly.

I guess not all ‘Greater Washington DC Goodwills’ are the same. I won’t be back to this retail priced store with no discounts…at all. Hard pass.

Andria Davis went above and beyond to help me locate a valuable item I accidentally donated. She was great with communicating with me; and I’m happy to report all of her efforts paid off. She actually located the item for me and it is home safe and sound. Thank you Andria!!! I’d also like to send out a big “Thank You” to all of the honest employees that work there. … Thank You!!

This place was cleaned, nicely stocked and the staff were very helpful. Nice finds!

I used to love to shop Goodwill stores, but they shut down the changing rooms during COVID and never reopened them. I will not buy an tem I can't return if I can't try it on. They would sell a lot more clothing if they would let patrons in the changing rooms.

In a constant state of disorganized mess — I theorize because the prices are so high here, no one buys anything, and they don’t do colored tag sales, so stuff just sits on the racks forever, and they end up with too much stock. I have been visiting here for years due to my proximity to the location but it gets more and more frustrating every time I visit when the racks are full of stained/ripped clothes for $10+. I prefer the Edgewater location by a slim margin just because their store is cleaner and prices are slightly better.

While traveling to Annapolis, I came upon this Goodwill. I know every thrift store is hit-or-miss, but this was a big hit for me. I found two brand new full-sequin evening gowns from Badgely & Mischka and Calvin Klein, vintage shoes from Saks and Coach, a one-of-a-kind designer purse, and vintage English bone china. So glad I didn’t see the reviews before stopping in!

11 November. Futon frame in the store! Don't see them often. Just needs a mattress. I'd have gotten it but sadly no truck :( Pictures taken today. It's a hit and miss store. I have found some good deals and found a number of not so good deals. Live close enough to visit every weekend and part of shopping here is managing expectations that you aren't going to find what you're looking for every time. Still hot and miss..found a almost new looking sofa and an all in one nostalgic looking record player. 27 Aug. Inventory lower than usual. Most furniture and electronics picked through. 2024! Inventory is still low :( lots of glassware though.

Do not go here, they are extremely mean to the kids very disrespectful over there, They are all in bad moods and all have attitudes towards children including mine, and very unorganized. They hate when kids are being kids and one was very rude to my daughter and she was crying. I would never recommend this goodwill, This one employee doing the shelves growled at my son for only playing with the Toys he wears high top shoes and I would like if he was asked to stop for my kids feeling safe there.

Terrible experience, young cashier accused my young friend of changing the tag on a wooden item. Tag was clearly old, covering another old tag. Top tag was something that would have come from another goodwill, not the usual tag. She had a really hard time even trying to pull the tag off the item. After refusing to sell it, she proceeded to say very loudly to the next folks in line "people can't just change tags" when confronted with her statement she became very rude and said directly to me "you can't just change tags" HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE All I got was an apology from the manager

Hit and miss store. A bit pricey. Clothes not organized properly and neatly as they should be. Other items are also scattered around their shelves. With all that being said, I have also found nice items to buy like a lazy boy chair, in need of some tlc, but really nice. At times, depends when you go, I have found really nice people as a cashier, polite, attentive, and helpful, but I haven't met the manager so I can't comment on that.

Cashier had time to tell us we couldn't pick up and look at a toy unless we were going to buy it ( I was considering it, thus looking at it to inspect working condition and we definitely weren't bothering anyone because no one was there ) but then when we went to check out there was a line of 3 people just standing there but no cashier in sight. The guy in front asked two separate employees if there was someone to check us out but they just shrugged so after 5 minutes in line we left without purchasing anything. It was very underwhelming and disappointing.

I went in and found a jumpsuit I liked. Went to pay for it and there was no tag. Cashier said he was manager and could not sell it to me till next day. I do not live in Annapolis. I live an hour away. I explained that. So myself and my family walked out and bought nothing. They price stuff. A manager could price stuff. However he would not. I will not step foot in there again.

Staff was polite, courteous and very helpful and professional. Great finds and prices. Staff is still very polite, professional. I absolutely love this Good Will. Great finds and prices too! Not to thrilled with their new manager Theresa. She is very rude.

I wanted to give this place one last shot at being worth my time. It wasn’t. I’m not sure who is in charge of putting prices to items, but this place is WAY overpriced on everything. It’s actually laughable some of the prices they’re charging for stuff that was donated. Honestly, I can take a second hand store being cluttered and messy, and I can even see past the rude workers, but when you add their prices? Nah, I’m good. They also put their “better” items behind the counter. You can barely see what is even back there. It’s like they don’t even want to sell it. None of it is priced to sell anyway.

I was NoT impressed. It was a bit pricey compared to the other stores. I prefer the one price for short , pants, etc........

It was great some friendly workers. If you ask a certain simple question they have a few workers that are rude with answers even toward elderly. Make sure you have hand sanitizer and a mask we saw a 2 little kids coughing on stuff. But overall it's a great store. Get in early when they have the good stuff.

At this time, not worth shopping at. Very low inventory of summer clothes. Not sorted according to sz. Only had 1 person checking out line of customers. And not friendly. As for visual of store, very sloppy. You can tell they try to organize but not consistently. I’ve been to better. Disappointed because I heard good things about this one and it’s in Annapolis. I can say, been there but won’t be back!

Sure the store had plenty to choose from, but none of that matters if the employees are rude. Not sure when they stopped providing bags for items, inconvenient but not a big deal. If you're going to speak softly, get mad when I cannot hear you, and then shake my receipt in front of me saying "hellooo" when I finish checking out, please reevaluate if you should be working in customer service. You work at goodwill, sure that may not be the best job in the world, but don't show it for heaven's sake.

I am from Virginia. I agree with most that the prices are a little high. In Virginia, they are less expensve. I attribute the higher pricing to the "bigger" city lifestyles. I thought the store was very crowded and a lot of of clothing was incorrectly sized and in the wrong gender places. However, I am fully aware some of that is due to customers. I think the store had a very nice housewares section and would be much better served if the store space were bigger. Employees appeared to be few in number, but my cashier was nice, polite and pleasant. By the way, like always, when shopping at Goodwill, I made a purchase! ?

Wonderful Goodwill. It really improved when they opened that wall up and made it larger. They reorganized, and it is lovely now. I do think all the men's suits and jackets should be the same price as in Virginia. There are name brands priced high but they price them higher and the fabric is not in vogue at this time because even though it is a name brand it may be a jacket or suit from 10/15 years ago and the whole design of fabric has changed so that should be paid attention to, not a criticism because I am into men's clothes and know what to look for. One that accord they should all be the same price. The managers are wonderful!!!!!!! Professional, Courteous, willing and ready to help just delightful. Courteous, always cashiers!!!! LOVE THE STORE.
