This place is a complete rip off!! Got $85 for a couple hundred dollars worth of metals. Won't be coming here again. I'll pay the bridge toll and gas to go over the bridge and still come out with more money. What a disappointment.

I don't know what happened to this place they used to pay the best around now they don't pay anything. I was wondering why every time I took my stuff here and recently I was not getting what I should so I called and compared prices to a scrap yard in Denton Maryland and they don't pay more like they used to And they try to mark you down every chance they get now. This place used to pay the best and be the most fair now they pay the worst and try to cheat you every chance they get.

Their prices for copper are about 5¢ or for certain things maybe 10¢ less a pound than some other recycling centers. However, that honestly doesn't make any kind of a difference unless you have an entire ton worth. But also in comparison to some other recycling centers, their prices are higher. Especially considering the prices people Google are actually the price it's worth after they melt and resell it, not the price it is worth TO sell to them. That and also the insulation of wire brings the price down too as now only some of the weight is metal. There are other factorials as well. I'd say their prices are just average and fair, nothing crazy. It's also more profitable to drive here if it's closer. They're generally known for having better aluminum can / soda can prices. Overall it's a good place for recycling scrap metal, cans and wire. They will not buy steel like most places, and they will accept MC cable sheathing, I'm not sure about brass or other metals. In any case I'm not at all sure why other people say their prices are terrible, they are fair. Great people working there too.

Easy payout on brass and seem like good guys. Good place to take some scraps that you'd usually toss in the trash after a project

Goodness, the female answering the phone is incredibly rude! Ask a question and she just hangs up on you….

It’s a bit of a drive but I consistently get the best payout and I don’t feel like I’m gonna get stabbed walking in, if your a normal human being that wants to scrap stuff you didn’t steal this is for you

I always had great experiences here. Nice staff and fair prices everytime. All I take to them is copper and brass tho.

The only good thing about this recycling center is it’s location. Sometimes it just isn’t worth the drive to Maryland Recycle in Glen Burnie. Unless you’re bringing them aluminum cans.. don’t bother. Multiple bad experiences and the pricing and grading are terrible. To their credit, these guys must be middle men and just selling to a larger yard. (Like Maryland Recycle) there’s no reason for their prices on batteries to be .15 cents per lb when it’s minimum .20 or more literally across the country. Same thing with wire. They’ll jip you on the grade of your wire even if you know what you’re talking about. I took them THHN wire and they paid it out as low grade #2 wire at .35 cents per lb and wouldn’t budge. THHN goes for $1.25+ across the country as well. I will not be returning to this yard again strictly off principle. You’d have better luck just calling a local scrapper or answering a Craigslist ad and having that person give you a couple bucks and call it a day. No legit scrappers use this place.

They don't pay fair prices compared to any other recycling company don't waste your time

Was disappointed . Googled price of scrap aluminum. $.38-$.52 / Pound. Got $.30 / pound

They don't pay fair, so don't even waste your time. The market price per pound on aluminum is $0.77 per pound, so don't let them rip you off
