I had an extremely disappointing and
unprofessional experience at this location. I do not recommend this location at all
Prior to arriving, I called the store to address an issue regarding being sold the wrong battery size for my vehicle. The individual who answered identified the location as the Annapolis store, but before I could finish explaining my concern, the call was abruptly disconnected.
When I arrived in person, I waited approximately 15 minutes before being assisted. Once I began explaining that I had just called and been hung up on, I was immediately interrupted and told that “it was nobody here,” with the store manager reinforcing that statement. Rather than listening to the concern, both employees were dismissive and unwilling to even consider the possibility.
The situation itself was already frustrating I had purchased a battery from this store that turned out to be the wrong size for my vehicle. This was confirmed by a Hyundai dealership, which required me to spend an additional $250 to correct the issue. This inconvenience could have been completely avoided had the correct product been provided initially.
Instead of showing any accountability or offering even a basic apology, the staff remained dismissive. When I requested a refund, I was initially told it could not be processed because I did not have my receipt on hand even after I offered to provide proof of purchase via my bank statement. Only after I returned with the receipt did the employee quickly locate the transaction in the system, which raises the question of why that effort was not made in the first place.
The overall interaction felt unnecessarily difficult, unprofessional, and lacking in basic customer service. I also could not ignore the difference in tone and treatment when another customer a white male entered the store and was treated with noticeably more respect and attentiveness. As a Black woman, this added to an already frustrating experience and left me feeling dismissed and disrespected.
At no point was there an apology, acknowledgment of inconvenience, or attempt to resolve the situation in a respectful manner. Customer service should not feel like a confrontation, especially when the issue originated from an error on the store’s end. I would strongly encourage management to address both product accuracy and staff conduct at this location.
Staff hardly even looked up or acknowledged me when I walked in. When I asked for help a gentleman bluntly said "I'm just the cashier" and stared at me. Only then did the other man behind the counter looked up from his phone to ask me if I needed any help. Terrible service. Will never return out of principle. You cant treat customers like that and expect return business.
Ok customer service. Horrible with HR department. They lead you to high expectations only to drop the ball. If they can't be up front with there applicants how can they be up front with there customers.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Out of the other local place I checked looking for a part, they were able to get one shipped to them within a few hours. They saved the day and my vehicle. I wish I had known they were there earlier.
Great service, great prices, all employees are gear heads and KNOW cars, not like some chain stores. Bonus: They carry Amsoil. Very cool staff, always helpful and friendly, even turned me onto Crazy Ray's junkyard for a few dealer only parts that would've been an arm and a leg. Parts come in very quickly as well.
Been dealing with these guys for almost 5 years. Great service all around. Super fast deliveries. I might get 5 deliveries a day.All their drivers are top notch as well. Can't say enough good things about them! They know their auto parts!
