The worst towing company. I waited 2hrs and then called them, they sounded asleep and didn’t answer my question when they were expecting to arrive. Use ASAP Towing company. Within ten minutes ASAP Towing called me and confirmed pickup and drop off location and then told when they were going to arrive and did.
Showed up in about 40 minutes 95 to hook up $10 a mile great service got it towed to my house for $135. I’m happy about that. I and the guy that told great service kind gentlemen
I called guardian towing to come out and jump my car after hanging up with them, I tried my car one more time just to see and it turned on. I called them back to cancel and they still charged me and said sorry there nothing we can do, we charge for cancellations. Which I understand but I called to cancel immediately. So, just be aware.
I had a horrible experience with the owner of this towing company. I was in a car accident 7 months ago, this dude showed ZERO empathy, ended up charging us over $2,000 for storage fees, ended up settling it with a lawyer and pay out pocket. This towing company is pathetic, I hope no one has to experience what I had to go through with them. You would think they would drop the fees after the drama and medical emergencies, but they ended up taking us to small claims court. Please avoid this towing company at all cost!
We needed their services at a really tough time and everyone from the drivers to the office staff were so kind, gracious and compassionate. I can't say enough good things about this company. Thank you Guardian Towing.
Stranded in the left turning lane for two hours. A wonderful tow man f finally showed up and towed me off Genesee on to Torrey pines scenic drive which was recommended by a couple of really good price officer. I was able to fix my vehicle and get back on the road. Thank you gaurdian
After I was involved in an accident. The tow truck driver further damaged my car in the left rear tail light while pulling my car onto the tow truck. Broke the tail light and damaged the fender.
THEN when a driver took the forklift to bring my car to the gate when I picked the car up. HE RIPPED THE WHOLE FRONT BUMPER OFF OF MY CAR. Very sloppy handling of the cars and I plan to submit a claim to get these mistakes taken care of. Re Train Your drivers. Please. Cars are expensive.
UPDATE:: These guys have left me no choice but to seek legal help to get my car fixed that they damaged. Terrible claims department. Careless drivers. Ben, the guy in charge of handling my claim has been non responsive. DONT USE THESE UNPROFESSIONAL CARELESS EXCUSE OF A TOW COMPANY.
Will use this company again! Receptionist was friendly, taking down info fast and efficient. Communicated well throughout the process. Towing tech was friendly. Timing was spot on their eta.
I got into a car accident yesterday and had Guardian Towing come to pick up my Audi. I was pretty shaken up as I was hit pretty hard by someone that ran through a red light. They were very quick to arrive and the tow driver was really knowledgable and professional. Insurance company was trying claim my car as a salvage without even looking at it and sent a tow truck to pickup my car from Guardian. This was after talking with the insurance company and stating that the car wasn't to go to a salvage yard until we got a second opinion. We specifically told a very helpful employee, Amber, not to release the car to anyone without our consent. From what I heard, she stood her ground with the tow truck driver and did not let him take the car, even after him being persistent. Tow yards have a reputation for being dishonest or for people getting things stolen from their car, but that is not the case for Guardian. I trust them 100%. All of my belongings were still in the same place, and nothing was missing. They even had my car parked inside of a garage instead of some dusty lot. Amber is amazing and deserves some recognition for her hard work! I cant thank you enough, Amber! Thank you Guardian Towing and staff!
The people here are professional and understanding they know you are obviously in a situation and are willing to help the best they can. If you need a tow I would definitely consider giving Guardian a call first.
The owner is totally incompetent. The hours of operation do not match what the website says. He gave me the vehicle back with the key stuck inside and iwas locked oyt of my vehicle. Do not do business here.
I was ther on a Friday, told the employee I'll be back tomorrow to get my vehicle. She just said ok, knowing there not going to be open. There hours listed here are not accurate they are really only open M-F. Because of this my vehicle now has to be here an extra 2 days for no reason. If it's after hours their number that's listed is no help. There is no one there to help and they want $100 for anything after hours to do with your vehicle.
They towed my car from the accident scene after I left in an ambulance. I was hurt and unable to get to the tow yard until I got a rental vehicle. This happened to be a Saturday. I had spoken to Guardian Towing on Friday but was never informed there would be a $100 gate fee to access my vehicle after hours or on the weekend. So I got there and there was no one there. When I called, they refused to come to let me get anything from my vehicle unless I would pay an additional $100. It's not right that they can hold your property for ransom when you've been the victim of an accident. I could not get my garage door opener and have no other parking space for my rental. I also had food and other items I needed from the car. Accident victims should not be treated like people whose cars were impounded. Choose fair tow companies and don't give your business to those who take advantage of people already in bad situations.
Edit: I see they responded 8 months later but did not address my complaints. Again, I spoke with them on a Friday about getting my things and was never informed there would be a $100 fee for them to open the gate or that I could only come at certain times. The response is flippant and sloppy and ignores the actual complaint, instead placing blame back on the customer. Maybe they could read the reviews and check their facts before responding.... 8 months later! We need better regulation of towing businesses, especially when they are responsible for the safe keeping of accident victims' vehicles and other property.
Gave me no hassle and answered all the questions I had. Awesome people working there. They even made sure I checked to make sure my insurance paid for their tows and storage after my accident. Nothing but 5 stars from the experience I had.
