These stars are for Maria and another younger employee whose name I didn’t get but was helped by each time I came into the store-and it was a lot! I chose this store even though it is out of my way because Maria was so kind, efficient and pleasant when I needed to do exchanges or returns. The other employees I encountered were also courteous and the store had the inventory I needed. I will definitely return and will avoid the 30th st autozone completely, as it is the complete opposite of this O’Reillys.

Very impressed! I ordered 2 new wiper blades late in the evening & they were ready for pick up first thing the next morning. Best of all, O'Reilly offers FREE installation right on the spot! My replacements were installed by Ruth who went above & beyond to make sure I had the right wipers AND the right connectors. Will go back the next time I need any auto parts.

Rude and unprofessional. I called to get price on brake pads and the guy just hung up after saying nope. I recognized the employees voice i asked,"IS THIS NOE?" he answerd "YUP" LACK OF TRAINING? MAY BE regardless of any escuse you can come up with, profecionalism and quality service should be guaranteed. Personal problems are left out the door before coming in to work. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

I went inside she was pregnant the general manager she was on her phone texting for 16 mins nobody greeted me I could of walk inside the store and took whatever I wanted so I stoood there then a old lady went outside to help a customer with a battery removal it was a horrible experience she's pregnant almost gonna give birth in the store texting on her phone 🤳 unprofessional she should be at home

Super uncomfortable to go in a business and have their employees talk among themselves with bad words (cussing) and joking around about how they won’t go out and help you in a simple task . After hearing that of course I didn’t feel comfortable to even ask for help , these guys were probably in their early 20s . Not sure if maturity comes with age but sucks to get that vibe from a business that offers help in many aspects.

I visited the O'Reilly at 4435 University Ave yesterday before noon because my car battery was failing, and I needed it tested or charged. The man at the counter whos name I didn’t catch, but had a healing black eye, asked the woman working next to him for guidance. She mentioned that if it was their battery, they could charge it. I wasn't sure if it was their battery, so she told him to go check. He came outside, took a look, and said, "No, it's not ours," which meant they couldn't help me at all and he went back inside not offering a test or any assistance. Feeling frustrated, I got back into my car, hoping it would start and thankfully, it did. I drove down the street to AutoZone, where they tested my battery and determined I needed a new one so I bought one. I'm confused about how you sell new batteries if your policy is to not assist customers who don't currently have one of your batteries. Your website states that you offer free battery checks— so does that policy not apply to the University location? Some clarity would be appreciated, as I left feeling defeated and worried my car might die on the road.

Like the dysfunctional cousin of the Point Loma O'Reilly's we love so much. It was apparent that they were in too much of a siesta mode to be bothered. Not a single other customer except me.

I went to O’ Reilly on University ave location for rear break pads for my Camry and the employee by the name of David gave me front brake pads 🤦♀️he asked me for my plates my car information and so many questions for him to mess up and make me drive back to return them!! This place experience wise and costumer service really sucks!!! I think Google is more reliable than these dumb guys that don’t know what they are doing. I want to add I went back and got the refund for my wrong break pads and got another set of pads that again are not the correct ones 🤦♀️ Oh lord!! I seriously don’t think these folks are taking their job serious. Shout out to the O’Reilly in Vista on Santa Fe the gentle man by the name Jorge was awesome he took care of the second return and explained to me the importance of having a costumer satisfaction is part of his job. He finally gave me the correct rear break pads and was very helpful. Please note before posting this review I called University O’Reilly store, and the same David guy answered with a laughing voice. stating there was no manager to speak to and that I could go and return the parts I heard no apology nor was at all taking responsibility to at least make it up for his 2nd mistake providing the wrong items. Hopefully this review helps other customers to avoid the inconvenience of returning parts and loss of time on top of having a bad experience.

Very friendly and helpful with nearly a waite.Prices are reasonable and weekly sales. You don't leave with what you went for,you end up getting cool things to make your life a bit better. Five stars fer sure.

Terrible service, extreme disappointing. Apparently free windshield wiper installation with purchase only if you come before 6pm and the person at the counter isn't feeling lazy. There was nobody else in the store and I was just looking for someone with experience to help me install my windshield wipers since it was a new car but apparently I went to the wrong place.

These are the most laziest individuals I have encountered running a business. Why would they reject changing a German car battery? This is absurd. Please save yourself time and DO NOT consider coming here. I have never experienced this low customer service. Do not come here.

The worker Alejandro told me I could not return my part, even though it was brand new, stating that it look used but that’s exactly how I got it from the store initially avoid this store. I’ll never be back.

Auto parts employees really don’t get enough credit for the stuff they put up with. A lot of customers can be really rude, and for that I really appreciate employees who are nice even when their store is understaffed and there’s a line. Xavier was great and I appreciate his great service!

Didn't realize the headlight i bought was whiter than the standard so still yellow. It cost me $40 and it was the only option, besides brighter at $65-$70. That wasn't going to happen. However, I went on Amazon and found a comparable brand, Phillip's, $10 less and the brightness that i wanted. My bulbs were Sylvania? Don't know if i could return these because they're used now....

My oil light come on as I was driving. This was the closest auto parts store to my house. I was driving like a maniac to get here before 9:00pm. Arrived at 8:57pm and they wouldn't unlock the door because they “close at 9:00pm.” Ok well are there other locations open late. “No. We all close at 9:00pm.” Which was a LIE because now I am at a location down the street that stays open till 10:00pm. I was desperate. It would of been nice for them to let me buy oil so my car engine didn’t explode or something. Listen, as someone who has worked customer service, I am well aware that when folks work late and are tired, they lock up early and want to go home. I get it. But if you say you close at 9:00pm, then I expect you to stay open till 9:00pm. Lame. Will never come here again.

I ordered a part, waited and 2x (one from a nearby store) the parts were damaged. In this stores case, I ordered an oil pan gasket. When they handed me the part I noticed it was open and saw it had only 2 gasket pieces for an oil pan! The manual shows 4 pieces. Had to stall my project a week more. The other store delivered a bent creased headgasket kit, which I had to wait more days for a new one.

I would give it ZERO stars if possible I ordered a part Friday January 17/2020 the guy said that it will be delivered Saturday 18/2020 and it will be ready to pick up after 7:10 am I showed up at 12 pm to pick it up and they tell me that my part is not in the store that they don't know where it is that it was lost or delivered to a different store and I will have to wait till 2:30 pm to see "IF" it arrives I called to around that time to see if it got delivered and I talked to Albert he gave me the worst costumer service ever ! I asked about a certain shipment and the first thing he screamed through the phone was that he didn't know and if "I wanted to talk to someone else to do they can lie to me instead." This is very unprofessional of him and shows how incompetent he is having a position where costumer service is key. Lastly I show up around 3:30 my part was still lost somewhere and they tell me now that I have to wait until 4:30 to see if my part would get delivered then. After all this I just asked for my money back. Terrible costumer service, unprofessional and incompetent staff.

I recently purchased some automotive parts and was impressed by the service i received? Such as a diagnostic test preformed to analyze the computer system for defaults In on whether or not i needed to replace or repair parts on keeping on top of the way my autombiles engine function this was a blessing, but a little bit to late for me and my car it broke down before i could you the repairs done.and yes I would and I will recommend O'Reilly's you anyone who asked me for help with their vehicle.

Staff for the most part is pretty resourceful and have helped me find parts that at times i didnt even know the name of. It also helps that they're pretty patient. Over all the parts store is always immaculate and I'm yet to stop by and see other wise.

Good customer service but they can't seem to get people buying simple things checked out. I don't recommend coming here expecting to grab and go. You'll grab... And stand and stand and eventually pay and leave feeling like there must have been a better way to help folks AND streamline the process.

Worst customer service ever. Ordered a part came back at the time given to me for arrival. Part wasn't there. Came back again for a different time that was giving to me and again the part wasn't there. So now I call to make sure my part is there and they keep me on hold for a total of 21min and 43 sec. that's outrageous. They need to work in there customer service!!!!

The store has a large inventory of auto parts as well as tools, and accessories. The atmosphere is clear clean. if you know what items or parts you're looking for the better. Customer service can get at times frustrating more than once I've been sold the wrong part. Make sure you have the old part to compare with new part. And, most important if you have to go there call and order parts first. Plenty parking
